I just dey laugh. The rate of adultery in the south east is alarming. Honestly, I have been working in the South East since 2013, what I have seen some married women do, is to say the least, shocking. Before I came to the South East, the impression was their women hated adultery but reverse is the case .Anyway, no tribe is free from adultery.

My condolences to the op. Many of us has had police brutality in so many forms, I have had 2 bad experiences of police brutality one in which I was unjustly arrested and I was driven from 6:30am till around 10am with my people looking for me for 3hrs because they knew the kind of person I am.

I would have loved action to be taken on that police station try and escalate the issue on twitter you could probably get a redress also tag FIJ they are very good @ investigating such cases but your issue is actually accepting you assaulted the officer that can work against you.

Sorry about what happened to you. Personally, I know what the police are capable of hence I am not surprised at the barbarism of the police. I don't pity any policeman/woman when fate deals with them.

You are spot on. I have been working in the East since 2013, I must say this, I am apalled by the level of infidelity of the so-called married women. If I begin to tell you what my colleagues at work( construction) are doing to these married women, you will be shocked. Before I came to the East, the impression I had was their women are faithful but reverse is the case. The worst was the one that happened at Ideato-south local govt. One of our staff slept with one married woman on a bare floor. My take is, infidelity is not alien to any tribe.

Infidelity is not alien to any tribe. Couples( married) should stick to their marital vows, there is no gain in cheating.

There would not be any need for such laws if some people had respected their host. From what happened before and during the last elections, some people should expect consequences for their crude behaviour. You insulted the Yorubas,their leaders, religious leaders and the Yoruba culture and almost everthing Yoruba. You should not expect the Yorubas to embrace you. I didn't vote Tinubu and the APC but what I take exception to is the insults. Some will still come and insult me to buttress my points. Nonetheless, I think, the laws will be counterproductive.
