stagger: Not surprised that it is a Kano man spearheading this attempt to take us back to the stone age. How many trees have to keep getting cut down to produce paper for more than 300,000 JAMB candidates a year?Mr Man why the obsession with people's ethnicity?? So if it was a Member from the south it would have been fine, abi?? SMH. You my friend are taking us back to the stone-age with your irresponsible and mischievous fixation on tribe and ethnicity instead of the main issues raised. Some salient issues were raised as to the feasibility and workability of the E-testing proposition. Why not challenge and disprove their objection instead of baselessly blabbing about regionalism and ethnicity of the Member. how many secondary schools are equipped with computers. JAMB itself lacks the competence and facilities to conduct the examinations, hence JAMB has contracted private firm to conduct the computer based test (CBT) |

Feb 6, 2013, 1:34pm Matters Arising!! What happens to the Debate?? Has it been cancelled?? It's sad that the NL admin & Mods don't deem it fit to explain to members what their "current" plans are. I hereby call on the Organisers to show decisiveness not only in unjustly banning of dissenting voices (like was done to my humble self), but in planning and implementation of this Educative and Enlightening program. Hon. Garri (x7) |
tomakint: Too late buddy, you failed to reason before typing that! Better go down on your knees for forgiveness before........ And you my friend must go on your knees. Beg God to forgive you for siding with corrupt, oppressive, hypocritical and murderous kleptomaniacs.. |
mogentle: Is that your best response? Are you a learner?? Isn't it obvious that they learnt this diversionary tactics from the PDP-led FG?? Whenever the corruption, ineptitude and clueless nature of this administration is brought to the limelight, have you not notice how the person doing the exposing is villified?? Have you not noticed how instead of responding with verifiable and proven facts they resort to Character-assassination, mud-slinging etc.?? The fact is the PDP-led FG is a FAILURE as such the only face-saving measure they can use is to paint all others to be as bad as they are.. |
Once again a foul-smelling mouth opens to spew thrash coming from a maggot-infested brain. Nigerians are wiser now. Explain how the 4 billion naira mission house will benefit Nigerians or STFU!! |
tomakint: I and my family are finished for spewing out this putrid drivelFixed! ![]() |
ifyalways: I have NEVER seen more cry babies all my life.Cry babies..... ![]() |
The next governor of the state must be someone who will shatter the records of the incumbent governor. This is the koko of the matter! |
Goodluck Jonathan has a knack for making spurious claims that aren't backed up with verifiable facts and STATS. Same LIAR who promised to create 370,000 jobs via the SURE-P program yet couldn't create up to 15,000. Mr. President should quit disgracing himself. He should make statements Άnd back them up with verifiable facts and not engaging in silly mendacious acrobatics |
Tunde Bakare - The Nairaland 2012 Hall of Fame Inductee CAN keeps confirming the notion that they've become an appendage of the PDP with every single utterance of theirs. While poverty, corruption, crime etc is on the increase, CAN has become an attack-puppy for the PDP, engaging in petty verbal fist-cuffs with perceived enemies of the PDP-led FG. Shame on CAN!! Shame on the bling-bling flaunting, cocaine-sniffing morrafoccker who parades his criminal self as CAN's president!!! |
So what's the basis for warning about inciting people to violence?? Nest of Killesr!!! |
funken: As much as I applaud the GEJ govt for "upgrading" the airports, the new domestic airport in Lagos is already showing signs of decay. I came in from Port Harcourt this evening and i went into the gents of the arrival lounge to ease myself. Lo and behold, one of the 3 wash hand sinks is already so badly cracked that it could fall apart any moment from now. And this is from an airport that was just commissioned only a few months ago.Άnd why didn't you take a picture to butress your claims?? Don't tell me you still use a "NOKIA TORCH" phone...?? ![]() |
The "Amampour" Saga should be an eye-opener to the PDP-led FG as to the current mood of Nigerians as it relates to the "alleged spurious" claims of "MASSIVE" improvements of power supply. Even If like some say the interview wasn't representative of people's opinion, check her twitter handle and tell me if the message from Nigerians aint clear enough. If you've got an "mg" of common sense, you'd get the clear message from Nigerians. THE "IMPROVEMENT" IN THE POWER SECTOR ISN'T WORTH CELEBRATING YET AS MANY ARE YET TO BE AFFECTED!! |
This comes as no surprise as Nigeria has a very horrible record when it comes to human right abuse. Justice is for sale, and for a nation where most of the citizens are poor, it becomes something accessible only to the Elites. May God help US!!! |
Ok. At least he can spoke english unlike some people I knows who couldn't spoke.. ![]() |
fkaz: Revolution is the answer!Definitely not the Arab Spring type!! We need a Revolution of a different sort.... |

I can only shake my head for you while praying for a fast evolution of the content of the stuff you call a brain from the current fecal matter to something having the semblance of brain cells... |
The Great One, General MUSIWA, what about those in the South-South?? Where's the pick-up point?? ![]() |

Geo-political balance and terrains need to be considered in citing strategic government facilities such as military universities.I agree with the above especially in view of the role ethnicity plays in our decision and policy making. Hence if New Military Schools have to be built, the Southern Part of the Nation MUST be considered. However what I do not support is the building of new Military Schools when they're not needed just to appease some Geopolitical zones. This will be a wasteful and futile exercise. It's similar to what I see the FG doing by trying to establish more Universities when the existing ones are not sufficiently funded. Of more importance however is the fact there should be fairness and equity in admission into the existing schools. The agitation currently should focus on ensuring equitable allocation of admission slots to citizens from all the Geo-Political zones Summarily, I agree with the OP that if we need to build new Military schools, the SOUTH should ßξ their location. Yours Sincerely, Hon. Garri (x7) |
take dat: Good to hear this though; Buhari and GEJ. But Mr. President how many Nigerians are in support of the centenary celebration? Is that what we need right now, considering the growing differences and mistrust among the various religious, ethnic and tribal groups in Nigeria? This celebration is another avenue to squander public funds. The best centenary gift would be to have a genuine National Conference where our differences could be sorted out.If what's stated below is true, then no big wahala: its sponsorship would be wholly private sector drivenHowever, just like our yearly independence celebration, the centenary celebration in my opinion is meaningless. As a Nation we are still very far behind when compared even to other African Nations.. It's like a man Celebrating his 50th Birth-day when he still lives with his parents, is still single and jobless.. Being alive is not what should be celebrated. We should celebrate Achievements.. So My Question is; WHAT HAS NIGERIA AS A NATION ACHIEVED IN IT'S 100 YEARS OF EXISTENCE?? |
Bwahahaha!!! Yet some eediiots on NL run about from thread to thread like demon-possessed drunkards lying about how they now have light 36 hours every day... Such ones are evil their lies have a terrible stench which surpasses that of a mixture of decaying corpse and freshly discharged fecal matter. Such ones are collective children of darkness, sons of disobedience, advocates of deceit and self-aggrandisement. For such vessels which are already marked for decimation, the judgement of the lord shall come very swiftly!! Hon. Garri (x7) |
4va3sa22na: I love you!!!!Thanks dear. It's Good to be back... |
