laudate:Did anyone tell you she didnt bring the plight of her people to the appropriate authorities? That she did so does not mean anything will be done. |
I dont know what Igbos will gain from the presidency of Nigeria. What did others gain? We should be talking about important things not the Presidency of Nigeria. |
The zoo must fall! |
kropotkin2:Why not? Lord Lugard did far worse and it got you guys Nigeria didnt it? I like how power is decentralised in that organogram, however, it might have to go to a vote to make sure it is agreeable to all |
ehinmowo:Thats what Britain said when America began agitating for independence from it. Today, America is not only independent, it is the grestest country in the world. |
SalamRushdie:Yes she was but it still wasnt her job to electrify her village. Half of all Nigerians dont have access to eletricity and most of them have had sons and daughters in positions of influence |
SalamRushdie:Did you say 'start out neat'? These ones have already started to discuss what level of bribe they will charge when they pass out into the police force. |
SalamRushdie:Still not her job to eletrify the place. |
Nigeria is holding Igbos back. When I remember that Gambia is just 2 million people and an independent country, I wonder what Igbos are doing inside Nigeria |
Some Nigerians have barbarian mentality. They reason like people who live inside caves. A young 17 year old boy is murdered in broad daylight, yet, some people blame the 17 year old boy instead of the murderer(s). Some of these Nigerians claim to have recieved secondary and tertiary education, but when they see murder they look the other way. What is the point of your education if you reason like someone in Kindergarten? Murder is murder, wether it is a civilian or armed forces personell who did the killing. When a person shoots another unarmed person in a situation where there is no clear and danger, it is plain and simple murder. Armed forces members are not allowed to shoot an unarmed civilian unless that civilian poses a threat to life and there is no other way to remove that threat but to open fire. Only an uncivilised morron will see extrer- judicial killings and not condemn it Only an even bigger morron will try to defend murder by the armed forces |
Ifeanyi Ubah is thinking about his enomous petroleum Tank Farm in Lagos. |
Of course Igbo are an endangered people in Nigeria, Igbos have already lost over 3 million souls to 'one Nigeria'. I would never wish for me and my fellow Igbos to be in a country that has the potential to kill us in the millions and have done so in the past. Ohaneze have been missing the sort of leader in Nnia Nwodo |

This is not an IPOB protest. There is no way IPOB will hold a protest and you dont see one single Biafran flag or people dressed in Biafran colours |
Amnesty report on the IPOB/Biafran shooting and kiiling by the Nigerian Army and Police can be watched from the link below. The report is backed with video evidence, eyewitness testimony and pictures http://youtube.com/watch?v=L_oid2s9fxQ |
Amnesty international has forensic examined data, eyewitness accounts, videos, pictures etc This digraceful Brigadier called Rabe Abubakar came with nothing bur mere words. |
optional1:Dont mind the fake news caster. I watched the video, Pete Edochie did not say anything about Biafra or Biafrans. Pete Edochie was simply talking about Igbos being united. He said absolutely nothing about Biafra |
Nice one for the Kanu family |
This is how APC will be planning to rig the Governorship elections in a place like Anambra where nobody likes them |
It is a very bad thing for any one person in Nigeria to hold the position of executive president and commander in chief of the Armed forces at the same time |
APC has come to Etche, Igbo land to cause problems |
Nice one to IPOB. Self determination is a right of man. |
Of three main ethnic groups in Nigeria, Igbos were the only ones who never had an empire. Pre-historic Nigeria, Igbos, as large as they were as an ethnic group, never tried to conquar the smaller ethnic groups around them. Igbos are a confederate people, bound by ideology, tradition and language but fiercly indepedent. No traditional ruler can ever claim sovereignty over Igbos like the Alafin of Oyo can over Yorubas or the Sultan of Sokoto can over Hausa/Fulani. Igbos are confederates, that is the only reason they could unite under Ojukwu to fight a war of independence but cant unite any other Igbo that seeks a 'unitary Nigeria'. Had Ojukwu won the Biafran war and established Biafra, there would have been a 'given period' for him to tranform from a military dictator to 'confederate leader' with powers devolved to the people, or Igbos and the minorities that make up Biafra would risen up against him too. |
ehissi:Not true, Emmanuel Udeaja is still alive. This picture was like a meeting of military officers and politicians at a 'Nigerian House' in Britain. I noticed the picture of Zik on the wall so this means it was after october 1st 1960. If this picture is actually 1960, and it looks that way, it was any time between october 1st of that year and December 31st. Ademulegun commisioned in 1949 would have been a Colonel here Ojukwu, commissioned in 1957, (Although his commission date was back dated to 1955) would have been a a captain here. Obasunjo and Udeaja, both commissioned in 1960 would have been Lieutenants here This is a historic picture, at the time, most of these men tbought that Nigeria would become a nation where everyone would see each other as brothers. None of them, living or dead, ever saw it. |
Mekwen:No irony, its not Igbos who are begging to be part of ' one Nigeria'. They actally fought a war to get out of it |
Ekinematics:I take it you are one of the South/South people? Please, who are the North/North or West/West people? |
Clemzzz:I challenge you to show me anywhere the constitution of Nigeria where the term 'South/South' is recognised. South/South is just a geopolitical zone the Government of Abacha created for economic planning. In reality, it has no meaning. |
khalids:Of course Lord Lugard had supremacist views. He regarded the African as a barbarian. Maybe he is right because the same Africans later slaughtered themselves to the tune of over 3 million souls just to uphold the colonial contraption he (Lugard) created. The same African is still answering the name Lugard and his wife invented Lugard thought Africans (Nigerians) were barbarians and we proved him right by still keeping his torch burning instead of going to find our own torch |
haywire1:In the voice of Asari Dokubo "There are only 3 ethnic groups in Rivers state, Ijaw, Ogoni and Igbo" |
Clemzzz:Really? Did your Geography teacher also tell you that South South is a ficticious name, created by Abacha, that is not even recognised in the constitution? |
perfectgabby:Did I say anything about Rivers? I meant Etche land. Thats like asking if Rivers is Ijawland. |
[quote author=0b10010011 post=54024725]When did Rivers state become Igbo Land?[/quote Rivers state state doesnt mean anything, its just a name Gowon came up with in 1967. What I meant was Etche land were the incident occured |

Why didn't she bring the plight of her people to the attention of those who were meant to electrify the place?
