Hello Good day people of Nairaland. I will make this short and brief how a Neighbor of mine was scammed with the sum of #115000.
And I will really appreciate if I can get any help from here.

This neighbor of mine is into animal farming, though I don't know how it happens but I have their conversations here below.

But after going through their chats, then I decided to call the guy with my line and asked him about what happened.... The moment he hears what you are about to says , believe me, even though you use one million lines to call him, he will just block them off, the same goes to the lady she scammed.

And this neighbor of mine am talking about, na manage she dey manage.

So am pleading on her behalf.... If there's any help you all can render just to get this guy of a scammer.

Note:- she saw the guy on Facebook thinking it was genuine.

A Soldier has been seen in a video making rounds online, flogging his girlfriend's alleged bestie.

The young man who was subjected to severe beatings by the military man was seen on his knees begging, but his pleas fell on deaf ears as the angry attacker continued to whip him even more.

The soldier was also heard asking his girlfriend if it was her bestie that stopped her from picking his calls.

As the soldier continued whipping the man, some bystanders tried to intervene but he didn't stop. He went on to hold his girfriend's alleged bestie by the neck and attempted to raise and hit him on the ground, before lifting a bucket filled with water and pouring it on him.

It is permissible for a menstruating woman to recite Qur’aan according to the more correct scholarly opinion, especially if she needs to do that for fear of forgetting (what she had memorised), or to study for a test, or to seek healing thereby, on condition that she does not touch the Mus'haf (A Qur'an with Arabic text only), because no one should touch it except one who is in a state of purity.

If she needs to read from the Mus'haf, she may touch it with a barrier, such as a piece of clean cloth or a handkerchief or gloves and the like.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

It is obvious that women used to menstruate at the time of the Messenger of Allah (SalAllaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and he did not forbid them to recite Qur’aan.

He also did not forbid them to recite dhikr (remembrance of Allah) or du‘a (supplication). In fact he instructed the menstruating women to go out on the day of Eid and recite takbeer with the Muslims. End quote.

Majmoo‘ al-Fataawa, 21/460

He also said:

There is no Sunnah at all forbidding (the menstruating woman) to recite Qur’aan. Women used to menstruate at the time of the Messenger of Allah {SalAllaahu 'alaihi wa sallam}, and if reciting was haraam for them, as prayer is, then this would have been one of the things that the Prophet {SalAllaahu 'alaihi wa sallam} forbade to his ummah, and the Mothers of the Believers would have known of it, and it would have been one of the things that they transmitted to the people.

Based on that, there is nothing wrong with the menstruating woman memorize or performing ruqyah for herself by reciting Qur’aan, du‘aa’s and dhikr that are prescribed in Islam. There is also nothing wrong with her reciting from the Mus'haf, on condition that she does not touch the Mus'haf except with a barrier.

The mobile phones in which Qur’aan is put in written or recorded form do not come under the same ruling as the Mus'haf, so it is permissible to touch them without having purified oneself and it is permissible to take them into the washroom with one, because writing Qur’aan on the mobile phone is not like writing it in a Mus'haf. It takes the form of waves that appear and disappear, and its letters are not fixed, and the mobile phone may contain Qur’aan and other things.

Reading Qur’aan on a mobile phone makes it easy for women who are menstruating and one who cannot easily carry a Mus'haf with him, or one who is in a place where it is difficult for him to do wudoo’, because it is not essential for the one who touches it to be in a state of purity, as mentioned above.

And Allah knows best.

Qur'an can be touched, hold by anyone in any state or he/she is ( purity or not ). You only need to use a razor blade to cut out some alphabets to rendered it ( The Qur'an ) incomplete. That's all

I was born in a broken home from two different tribes in the country.
My late mom was a lecturer in one of the state polytechnics though she resigned her job when she couldn't cope with her mental illness. Me and my siblings were only in primary school then

My dad showed no concern for her health and came back to his hometown engaging himself in politics that have benefitted him nothing.

Me and my elder bro grew up with our dad while my two little sisters stayed with my mom, though we lost our last born the year 2005

I grew up with asthma and lacked mother's care. My dad and extended family even my grannies disliked me because they taught I was slow and couldn't cope with my mates

The truth is that my asthma was severe. I couldn't move an itch without my inhaler. The abuse got worse when in my early youth I couldn't do basic work to earn like my mates by working on building sites.

I was called lazy and the day I tried to prove I wasn't lazy, I nearly died of cement dust

My mom died last year April
She died poor and in pains due to liver disease.

I didn't remember giving my mom anything substantial before her demise, though i didn't have, but I feel I wasted my early youth by not making use of the best opportunity that presented itself after I left secondary which would have bettered me

Few years before her death she pleaded I move to stay with her. I couldn't because she lives in Northern Nigeria and there's no job in the area. I am in deep pains!

My mum mental health resulted to her adding hypo in her food and water claiming it's a cure for BP.(she also have BP)
I feel I am responsible for her death and hate myself for not reaching for my mom when she needs me. If I was around she wouldn't have drank hypo occasionally thereby destroying her liver


Now I feel I am becoming a demon. I hate helping people, infact when I see people in need I withhold any kind of help because God didn't give me chance to offer help to the woman I love most. I think because I couldn't do for my late mom no one is worth it.

My lack of empathy is growing by the day.
My girlfriend left, saying she couldn't cope, she says I have to start forgiving myself.
Do you believe I refused rendering help to my dad when he had accident? This was even before my mom died

I have taught about suicide but I can't just imagine how my bro will feel. Despite causing him pains too, he have always tolerated me and I know the damage my death will cause him. I wish I was never his brother
