gazzuzz is right. Just change the bad rotors and have peace of mind. I dont think rotors can be repaired.

My brake cylinder has broken again.
Just discovered my brake oil kept reducing and I discovered oil dripping from the left rear wheel.
I changed it with a 'tokunbo' in November and now it's has broken again. If I can't find in oyinbo can you suggest how/where to get a good or new one. Thanks.

i 've concluded on the other one. it is owned by a friend and I know the history of the car. it's an Honda crv. Good engine and good body.

Vehicles are now compactalized, with a good scanner, your vehicle manual and access to YouTube, you barely need a mechanic these days as vehicles have gone computer.

The truth is, I now only need a mechanic when I need body work or painting done on my car. With my scanner, I can locate the bad component and YouTube have countless videos on how to change them and if it a scanner code can result from the malfunction of more than one component, with my meter and a few more YouTube search, you can acertain the normal readings or behave of the component eliminate the one that doesn't conform.

Kashim said it needs to be serviced. but a friend told me that Gear Box can not be serviced as, once bad, you replace. please help me abeg na my first car i no too get experience

Good morning everyone. Permit me to just go straight to the point.

My brother got a second hand Toyota corolla 2003 model in December and it was working perfectly, about 2weeks ago he changed the engine oil(Total quartz 5000) and we started to notice some smoke from the exhaust pipe(a neighbour said he noticed the smoke before then) he thought it was the engine oil that caused the smoke so he called the former owner who told him he uses Forte oil for the car then.

We called a mechanic in the neighborhood who checked it and said it's not the oil, they regulated a lot of things ranging from the "eflometer"(not sure of the correct spelling) to buying new plugs, washing the nozzles and all but the smoke didn't stop.

What I noticed is that after doing the above things the smoke changed from black to white which I think is normal because the car doesn't smoke now unless you raise it to 5+ on the gauge or whatever but my brother is still not satisfied.

My question is: is it possible for a car not to smoke at all even raising it to 5+ on the gauge abi wet in dem dey call am?

I borrowed a friend #500,000 which he claimed was to execute an urgent business transaction and will pay with 50k interest in 2months. He dropped his Mercedes 2005 S-class as collateral. And there was a written IOU with a witness duely signed. Its 4months now and my guy have paid a dime and is begging for more time that d business didn't work out well.
