Where do you buy ewedu ? Costco, Walmart, Amazon ?

I buy from middle eat stores. African stores carry them too but I realize they buy from the middle east stores too. I feel they eat ewedu and okra more then we do.

Why do you have to spend all your savings on your wedding? You can do a small wedding that wouldn't take all your savings as there are more expenses to cover in marriage than the wedding day.

This reminds me of the Yoruba saying "Iro npa ro fun iro." This translates to deceit is lying to deceit. Even if he chooses to deceive himself, I am sure only a few who know they intentionally choose to live in this deceit will agree with him.

The bad side is no one will be punished for this because there sure will be no investigation to know what happened.

Dinner from last night:

Mashed potatoes, pepper source, cucumber apple salad, and oven baked chicken thigh.

What positive bill has he brought to the house so far? Most politicians in Nigeria are ineffective as such, a change in party makes no difference whatsoever.

Unfortunately, it will only get worse. They keep voting based on tribal and religious sentiments and the leaders they think are their people do not think of them in the same way.

Until we eschew such mentality and vote rightly, things will only get worse.

You are entitled to your opinion as I am to mine. I choose to celebrate what this administration has done by completing the blue line and building the red line from scratch to where it is now in operation. We can ask for more while celebrating what they have achieved.

Keep asking then. Never knew they were doing us a favor when we voted them into office.

It was his greed that put him in his present predicament. He had a full scholarship and wanted to be rich at all cost when he should have focused on his studies. Glad he has something he is doing art the moment. I wish him better luck in the future.

I don't like the reactive manner we address things in Nigeria. With the many videos we have seen, the Nigerian Police Force should have put a stop to the indiscriminate check points if truly they are sincere. I am beginning to believe they settle the ogas from the proceed of these extortion.

All the while it was stalled by different funding conflicts and issues. But since all the issues have been resolved under this current administration, there has been consistent progress.

16 years or not, it is worth celebrating when you compare it to similar projects across the country like Rivers and Akwa Ibom that have been abandoned.

Why do we like to glorify failure? How do you tell me P8 is better than F9? Aren't they both below credit? This current administration has been there since 2019 which is at least six years in another two days. As at 2019, the Orile to Marina route was almost completed way back as 2017. So what has this administration really done differently? We cannot be asking for better governance and celebrating mediocrity. We either want to experience growth and development or we do not.

I don't know who the problem is and who doesn't have any sense of shame between our leaders and the populace? How on earth are we celebrating this project? It is less than 100km and it has been on since 2008. This is 16years after and we are celebrating such level of failure as this is worse than mediocrity. We truly deserve our leaders.

Nigeria is an hilarious country. What right has someone to detain someone else? Why not report the case to the police to investigate?

Why do our politicians like to waste our scarce resources this much?

That is what the VO said, my colleague who went home to renew his visa early this year was also told that while his visa was renewed and his dependents were denied. The visa officer said, "tell your school to increase your funding to cover your dependents".

When I also did my interview, I was asked if my wife will be coming to visit me and I told them categorically that Yes she will be coming to visit me.

What is on their I20? Did it include their own funds? How did they say their part will be covered? This is the part I think should be addressed.

Visa officer will not utter such a direct visa issuing expo or secret or idea because it's against the ethic as such officer can be penalized.

Your family actually did not heard the officer very well. ** What the officer actually complained about was that (on looking at their F2 I 20s) your full funding did not indicate or included dependency coverage.

** Visa officers knows that your funding is under a rigid policy which is initially based on external grants received by your university/department so it cannot be increased overnight.

Why feeling stuck ? Your wife and the children are your best ties which serves as your reason of return. Or have you forgotten telling that to the consular or indicating it in your ds-160 prior to your visa issuing ? )

** Change your storyline. Your family can visit during your graduation (B1/B2) , during yuletide (Xmas) , etc. Their current F2 I 20s cannot take them across as they cannot display enough personal funds to the consular and they (your wife and the two children) does not have their own ties. 👍

We are so selfish and ignorant in this part of the world. What is so bad in staying with someone aged parents that laboured endlessly to raise us? So, he can move to them when he was struggling but not when he is financially stable? That is the extent of our shallow thinking, and you keep wondering if it worth it to suffer to raise children these days.

An average European, Chinese or American live with their parents but here in Africa, we detest and don't have empathy toward one another. Why would anyone leave his aged parents when he/she is in position to stay with them. Loneliness at old age is out of this world, and it is a great privilege to have one of your children family around.

That is why every man should try to make money. The rich take up another wife that will give them young children who will keep the house running at old age.

He needs his life. They have lived theirs and he needs live his too. He can move to somewhere within 20kms from them.

Our politicians are more interested in politicking than governance. What has been their contributions to governance before thinking of governing their states.

Dinner:

Breakfast yesterday:

No knead buttermilk biscuit with eggs over medium with ice caramel coffee.

They should have left him for the night. These guys out of their greed had led to the untimely death of many from such reckless chases.
