Majority studied science courses while commercial graduates in courses like Economics, Accounting and Finance struggle to compete against them.

No thanks to mathematical inclined aptitude test for employment.

I don't think that is the only reason. Some units require deep understanding of quantitative methods and this gives the science oriented courses an edge. For example, quantitative modeling usually requires a minimum of a masters in a quantitative discipline and preferably a PhD in quantitative disciplines.

Perhaps, her experience hasn't been so pleasant with African men. Best is to let her be and respect her choice.

Beans and yan porridge with plantain.

Home made cheese biscuits with egg over medium and meatpie filling gravy.

Sunday's dinner:

Pounded yam and oha soup.

Monday dinner:

Jollof rice and dodo.

The arrogance Wike displays is unnecessary in my opinion. He is a member of the party and wants to be everything to the party.

Why is this a topic of debate. It's a case of to each his/ her own. What should matter is that they love themselves and are married. Their marriage certificate is sufficient.

Favouritism didn't start today

It has always been in the mainstream for us. We don't hide it and use culture to cover it up. A good example is the proven "omo eni o le se idi bebere, ka fi ileke si idi elo mi" which translates to "one's child can't have a good waist line and we wear the waist bead on another person's child.

The one incident that happened to me was when a classmate decided to help me write an exam. It was a Friday, and I left school after closing hours (1:00pm). He stopped by my house around 4:30pm to tell me he wrote my exam on my behalf. I told him I will be reporting to the teacher on Monday (my first mistake).
I got to school on Monday, and he had informed everyone. I was told I am an ingrate that instead of appreciating his help, I want to report him. The pressure was so much I had to let go. Before noon, we were sent for by the teacher and I knew I was done for. The funny thing is that they blamed me, and he wasn't beaten because his mom used to be a teacher in the school. I took the beating for the both of us. Told my elder brother when I got home and he told me if only I had listened to him that I should report the case, I would have been vindicated. I disliked most of the teachers for taking sides without hearing my side. I was given zero (0) for the term and eventually did not fail the subject. I dropped the subject in SS2 because I felt the level of hypocrisy was something I couldn't deal with. Funny enough, one day, the mother told me she doesn't want me to be friends with her son again and I stopped visiting their house.

Did you read where anyone is against her doing chores? What we condemn is dropping her education standards because she needs her to baby sit and that is not house chores. In same vein, there is no crime in the son also doing chores. We all grew up doing chores irrespective of our gender.
