My concern is not celebrating any political party by celebrating the fact that my able Governor Obaseki is victorious at last!

The recently displaced Chairman of All People's Congress Adams Oshiomhole during his tenure as the Governor of Edo State once opined that he was going to do everything within the precincts of his power to put an end to godfatherism, but recently, his recent political activities appear to be tilting towards the opposite. This is ironical.

I used to admire Oshiomhole for his selfless and courageous disposition but recently, I have started thinking differently about him!

Even our culture abhors this. There are usually serious sanctions for robbery in every tradition in Nigeria. It is even considered a social stigma. But today, even some parents glorify their children for making it via robbery!

The present Nigerian youths are so blinded by their lust for materialism which the Bible vehemently condemns.
They see cyber crime as a way of getting easy money not realising the fact that cyber fraud is robbery and anyone who does that is a thief!
Believe me, they have dented the nation's image so badly that we no longer can do legitimate business with foreigners without being tagged a suspect!
It is not poverty that reduced them to this but GREED. Most Nigerian youths are lazy and want to reap where they didn't sow. Death penalty should be recommended for cyber crime offences.

Did you notice that during Oshio's tenure pensioners were always begging to be paid their monthly stipends?
The money was spent on jamboree sessions at Government House daily while the pensioners beg, cap in hand for their money. Obaseki pays workers and pensioners before the 26th of every month.
