Currently Leisure Spring is the best hotel in the state and I enjoyed my stay there when I travelled to Oshogbo last year for a wedding This new development is not unexpected considering the increased economic activity in the state making it one of the states with the highest GDPs for 2012 in southern Nigeria excluding Lagos and Oyo Currently it's IGR stands at N1.6bn monthly making it top four in terms of IGR in Nigeria Aregbesola has proven that governance is only about a desire to do good and things will fall in place God bless Osun State God bless Yorubaland |
The Oyo State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a Canadian firm to develop the state agricultural sector. Under the MoU, the Canadian firm, SGNTT will inject $1.3bn into the state agricultural sector. The state Governor Abiola Ajimobi, during the signing of the MoU at the Governor’s Office in Ibadan on Thursday, described the initiative as a landmark achievement of his administration. He said that the investment would not only enhance food security, it would also provide job opportunities for the unemployed youths in the state. He said, “The MoU is a milestone, it is a legacy that will stand the test of time. It will be second to none in terms of the opportunities available in agriculture.” While commending the Canadian firm, for its commitment to the development of the state, Ajimobi expressed optimism that the partnership would further deepen bilateral and trade relations between Canada and Nigeria. The leader of the Canadian team, Edward Ndububa, said the project, which would be located in Itesiwaju and Afijio area of the state, would start in December. He, however, added that it would begin full scale production of tomatoes, vegetables, fruits and livestock in 2015. www.punchng.com/news/oyo-canadian-firm-sign-1-3bn-pact-on-farming/ |

All we do is developed It's in our DNA From Lekki to Oshogbo, from Abeokuta to Ado-Ekiti, from Ogbomosho to Olokola All we do is think, strategize, build and develop till every square inch of Yorubaland is heaven enough to compete with any country on earth God bless Yorubaland Eko o ni baje Ile Yoruba o ni baje |
Can the mods move this to the Jokes section? |
Paul John: Red oyel ba?!I think he's being sarcastic |
Willy4Willy: You are correct, and i thank those that name this international Airport after him,It's not only land that suffers erosion in the SE, brain cells do too |
As we speak, there's more economic activity in Osun State than any SE state Next year when the GDP figures for 2013 are posted, there will be a yawning gap We know the governors that are ready for business |
Who is this non entity called Silly Silly splashing his low intelligence all over this thread. We know the massive development in the states of the SW is hurting you but guess what, we don't give a hoot about you. Ogun generates N4bn monthly, Osun generates N1.6bn monthly. Ekiti generates N1bn monthly. Lagos generates almost N30bn monthly. For 2012, Osun State's GDP was higher than that of any state in the SE and this year, it's set to widen the gap even further. Rant and whine all you like, it won't stop us from developing and making our region more viable |
I don't have to look critically at any topic that has develop, construct, build or improvement in it before I know it's about a state in the SW God bless Yoruba land |
Can't believe this isn't still on the front page |
Front Page please |
Ogun generates N4bn monthly, Osun generates N1.6bn, Ekiti generates over N1bn monthly and they say everywhere in the SW outside Lagos is a village Better to have villages that churn out such money than cities that make peanuts God bless the Yoruba race God bless Yoruba land Ile Yoruba o ni baje |
Is this topic supposed to be an attempt at humour? |
@OP, Just issue him an ultimatum to stop Works like magic in those parts |
