sexkillz: In your opening post, you mentioned that enugu and onitsha shoprite threads are still in this section. Where are the links? You're an ethnic bigot https://www.nairaland.com/1341512/work-begins-onitsha-shoprite/4 https://www.nairaland.com/689859/polo-park-enugu-updates/1 |
You have still not answered my opening post The first issue you raised was about the link which was there Now you want me to start digging up threads when as a mod you can do that so easily and move it before I search for it The news about a new outlet in Ibadan is political as well as economic News about new hotels, shops, males etc hit the front page from the politics section It's obvious you moved it because you weren't happy about it but guess what It will open in November and let's see if you will be able to stop that from hitting the front page For now, enjoy the control Seun has given you |
And when in doubt, you could have asked for a source within a time frame or the post will be deleted I've seen Afam4eva do that on this forum though I consider some of his actions as tribal too |
sexkillz: Where are the links to the other shoprite threads? They need to be moved as well. The link was in the post and I opened it before commenting http://www.shoprite.com.ng/Pages/StoreDirectory.aspx What else do you need? You went ahead to move other threads relating to that to the general section |
Can a moderator please answer? We need to know why these things are done the way they are |
Someone posted a topic about Shoprite opening another outlet in Ibadan this morning and I'm aghast that it was moved to the General section As we speak, the post about Shoprite opening in Enugu and building in Onitsha are still in the politics section years and months after There are also several posts relating to new developments in states, towns and cities in the Politics section My question is what makes a topic political? It's obvious the mod that moved the topic has a motive |
grafikii: Yeah abeokuta looks more like it.I don't understand why your topic that should be on the front page was moved here The post about Shoprite opening in Enugu and building in Onitsha are still in the politics section years and months after |
The post about a new shoprite in Ibabdan was moved Why was it moved? The post about Shoprite opening in Enugu and building in Onitsha are still in the politics section years and months after |
Why was this moved here? The post about Shoprite opening in Enugu and building in Onitsha are still in the politics section years and months after |
Gbawe: I just tried to post on it too to realise it is gone. Supermods should look into this and give us a valid explanation. If this is the arbitrary action of one of the mods here, then that mod should be removed instantly !!!!!!If it was about an offensive comment, it can be removed or hidden The link was given to Shoprite's website and its authentic What in earth is the rationale? |
The news of another Shoprite outlet opening in an even bigger mall in Ibadan was posted this morning And I'm shocked to my marrow that it was hidden for whatever reason by the mods This is simply unbelievable Seun, you have to do something decisive now |
chino24: [s][/s]In response to this rant of yours, I'll just ask you a question in three words: Post your figures |
And watch out for Abeouka too next year and perhaps Oshogbo and Akure Eyin Ibadan, e ku soppin Soprite yi' tu Ilu Ibadan lara O ![]() |

grafikii: Ibadan Mall Development Company Limited, theThe mall is opening in November and not December Now they are so shamefacedly avoiding this thread |
grafikii: You know i checked the sites that carried the silly news and found out they all had the flat head syndromeOkay a departmental store opens in a city and doesn't make sales As a matter of fact someone on this forum said two days ago that it was covered in cobwebs Now the same departmental store is planning to open in another mall in the same city They must be crazy right? |
Oyo State: Cocoa Mall Address: Ijebu Bypass Bank Road City: Dugbe Ibadan State: Oyo State Oyo State: Ibadan Mall (opening November 2013) Suburb: Ibadan State: Oyo State |
And you keep hearing of growth growth growth What does it take to reduce inflation? Easy ... Reduce cash in circulation (sell TBs) What does it take to strengthen your currency against the dollar? Easy ... Reduce imports or increase exports or both What does it take to increase your GDP? Not easy ... Increase local production (Only happening in Kaduna, Lagos, Osun, Ogun) What does it take to increase IGR? Not easy ... Increase taxes or reduce corruption or stimulate your local economy (Only happening in Lagos, Ogun, Ekiti, Enugu and Osun) What does it take to increase per capita? Easy ... Increase minimum wage but inflation would rise Apart from the items in red which is not happening in Nigeria except in those states listed, 'growing' an economy not rocket science |

For states that go cap in hand to Abuja and can't generate enough to sustain themselves, I'm sorry |
There's no better advantage than having more information than your contemporaries or adversaries |
When I first posted this from the information I got from their management following the bursting sales at Heritage Mall, the usual suspects quoted Linda Ikeji many times over and made unsavory comments about Ibadan and the Yoruba people in general December will come and we will all witness the opening of an even bigger Mall in Ibadan We are not done yet. This is just the beginning God bless Yorubaland

Why is it that Lagos currently has more roads under construction or rehabilitation than any other state in Nigeria Besides Lagos at the moment doesn't have the worst of roads in Nigeria |
drnoel: Ur comments are a joke on educated minds. I wonder were u got the notion that most south easterners wish our south western brodas ill. Nigerians where are we all going with this bad, this is bad. I didn't know Nigerians hated it had this notion of themselves. Look, I was born in Lagos, grew up there, had Yoruba friends all my life. Speak and understand yoruba but also speak and understand my native dialect. What should matter is that development is taking place in Nigeria, regardless of where. I wish Oyo state success cos i know what ever comes out of there would benefit not just Oyo but the whole south south and nigeria as a whole. That is what is important. U guys should stop fighting over ethnic divide, it will not help us. Instead we will be doing our children harm. Enough is enough. Believe me, easterners know where they stand, both with southerners and northerners but all those are irrelevant without development. As for east progressing, don't uncross ur fingers yet. Igbo's never carry last (believe me, I know, I married one), I assure and they did help develops Lagos no matter how our western Broda's try to deny it.This is how the story goes on this forum There's so much going on in the SW, much more than we can post Now we post the ones carried by the media and then some people just bump in and begin to rubbish the post and make derogatory remarks about developments in Yorubaland largely out of jealous and frustration And pronto a tribal war ensues The hatred is staggering and I wonder why but we are not deterred as we are determined as a race to continue to develop our region come what may |
chino24: Its an insult comparing Anambra to a rural state of Oshun. In all indices of development Oshun is an under dog to Anambra! Even Ebonyi which some of you consider somewhat is far ahead of Oshun in development and advancement.Osun State currently generates N1.6bn in IGR while Anambra generates N450m In 2012, Osun State had the fourth highest GDP in southern Nigeria after Lagos, Oyo and Rivers Currently the state has the lowest unemployment rate in the country What other economic indices do you need? Would be nice if you can post any stats to disprove mine

God bless Yorubaland |
agbameta: Do you people really think multi national comps with decades of experience don't know what they are doing or that they don't do their home work and research before investing their money? It's best you ignore them They post those things but deep within their hearts they are hurt, pained, frustrated and wondering why their states can't do half as much |
veraponpo: Ajimobi too wanna show face. $1.3b is not a joke. More jobs, more exports, more businesses, bigger economy, more taxes, increased IGR,etcThey will invade every thread and laugh but the joke is on them While we are developing, they point fingers and laugh Meanwhile nothing gets done in their behind Next year when we post our GDP figures, they will say its manipulated because they can't understand how Ogun State generates N4bn in IGR monthly, Osun State does N1.6bn and Ekiti does N1bn while Lagos does almost N30bn They can't understand why Osun State had the third highest GDP in southern Nigeria outside Lagos and Oyo in 2012 We have to ignore them and continue to get busy because its in our DNA to develop |
God bless Lagos God bless Yorubaland Up next, the rail lines |
