How many abokis have they picked up on the street for selling dollar at mad rates.....one Nigeria yoruba fools will not smell the coffee until it's too late.
From EFCC attacks on businesses in the west to draconic laws against Yoruba tech firms..... it's clear that economic sabotage of Yoruba's is in gear. The annoying thing is the ignorance of most Yorubas to what is happening. People like seun osewa and this his website is another to priority for this people to sabotage. You are just talking gibberish. Both the Yoruba's & abok!s run this racket together. They both run the market, even though abokis are more in the business but when it comes to making profit, they both speak the same language. |

Foreign Affairs › Kenyan Court Jails Ex-sports Minister For Six Years Over Corruption by Geeman2006(op): 8:21pm On Sep 16, 2021 |
A Kenyan court on Thursday sentenced a former sports minister to six years in prison after finding him guilty over the siphoning of funds meant for athletes in the Brazil Olympics five years ago.
The East African nation enjoyed its most successful Olympics in Rio, winning six gold medals, six silvers and one bronze in track and field, but the performance was blighted by claims of corruption among senior government officials and team bosses.
A magistrate's court in Nairobi found Hassan Wario, who was the sports minister at the time, guilty of abuse of office in connection with the loss of funds.
Issuing a ruling in the case that started in 2018, the court gave Wario, who was appointed Kenya's ambassador to Austria after serving in the cabinet, the alternative of paying a 3.6 million shillings ($32,742) fine to avoid going to jail.
Stephen Soi, who was the team leader and was tried alongside Wario, was found guilty of corruption and was sentenced to 10 years in prison or a fine of 103 million shillings.
President Uhuru Kenyatta's government charged dozens of senior officials with various crimes in a crackdown against graft in 2018 and 2019.
The Wario case is among the first of those to be concluded.
($1 = 109.9500 Kenyan shillings)

The North is a curse to itself and to others. No need for tribalism.. If they want to get to work , they will get to work. |

ValCon888: Let's be clear; I strongly condemn the killing of this pilot. I guess the police was quick to respond because he's the son of a senator.
However, not so long ago, Sowore's brother was killed in cold blood. And this same police stated the "facility" to find the killers wasn't working.
It baffles me how an apparatus of the police force works in one case and fails in another. Ordinary citizens & VIP don't mix well in Nigeria.. The latter usually have their way because of influence and resources at their disposal. Just unfortunate. |

FreeStuffsNG: It was our lack of courage to insist on her prosecution as soon as the $20 billion was declared missing by SLS. Hers was glaring with strong compelling evidence from the then CBN. It is this same information now being used to nail her and her accomplices. Unfortunately, those foreign prosecutors will seize a substantial amount of the stolen wealth from here. We need to learn that anytime we bring tribalism or religious divide into issues, we will all lose. If we have such evidence today, trust me, the national assembly PDP will make a kill of it for 2023 political gains. At the time she was dinning with the lions, hence they won't forsake her. The system is just a mess. It's convenient for people to play the she is our sister card, forgetting that we are all losers in this. It's just unfortunate. |

Tonyclems: Going by the revelation by gov. Wike that Kano generated 2bn, pH 4bn n Lagos 46bn and the 2bn generated by kano was given back to them, I knew something was wrong. I have lived in Kano and I know that Kano is highly industrialized infact they are 2nd to Lagos so it's impossible that they generated just 2bn. With this headline, I don't need anybody to tell me the agbada wearing central bank is not responsible for this Between 10-20% of IGR in the state is paid to consultants, those consultants are Ganduje's goons by proxy. Part of the reason amongst others for the abysmal IGR performance of recent in the state. They are siphoning those funds steady. Kudos to El-rufai in Kaduna, but how does Kaduna generate more revenue than Kano. How many industries do they have in Kaduna compared to Kano. They are just wolves in sheep clothing in that Kano government. |

If your based in South East, middle belt or North. There is one HMO like that called " liberty blue". Run away from them as far as possible. They know how to cut corners and their service is terrible. They prefer to offer you mushroom hospitals and connive with hospital management to offer mediocre services. Then, only my colleagues based in Lagos & Abuja never complained. Most likely , because our HQ and Top bosses were based in Lagos then and frequent Abuja, so eye service was key but other locations was just terrible. My experience with them was so bad I had to ditch them and join NHIS despite monthly deductions from my salary then. |

Maina and the former SGF are very good examples. We southerners must open our eyes and see danger in our alliance with these parasites. They are ready to sick us dry without any track whatsoever. Be there and be deceiving yourself! When Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba want to be corrupt , they do so wholeheartedly and forget tribe. A typical example is our politicians at National assembly. middlebelter: From the above figure, it is obvious that states like Kano, Yobe, Borno, Sokoto, etc. will find it difficult to survive if we embrace true fiscal federalism. Ogun state is a privileged state unfortunately the successive Governors have failed to take full advantage of its contiguous location.Ogun should be generating nothing less than N100b IGR pa.
Akwa Ibom and Delta can do better. The states should provide more infrastructure to attract private investors. Kogi should make sure AJaokuta Iron and Steel Industry is completed as promised by FGN. Benue, a bridge across Niger/Benue river from Lokoja will certainly boost trade and economic activities in the state if the herdmen will allow it. Kano will survive well if they fix up & put their house in order. The present crop of Administrators there are just siphoning majority of the IGR. With all the economic activity in the state, you wonder how Kaduna state manages to take them to the cleaners on this one. But wike's move is a step in the right direction, lazy governors will have to wake up and really put on their thinking cap. |
