Even though there is risk of Insecurity , I still believe NYSC shouldn't be scrapped.
The perceptions and lack of knowledge about other regions in this country is grossly under estimated. Alot of people of people grow up to believe what the media and their surroundings have fed them over the years about people from other places.
During my NYSC days, I experienced serious stereotypes from graduates about where I come from and was Highly embarrassed that graduates don't even know basic things about places and other people's culture. What my ears heard those days, embarrassing is even an understatement.
Even here in Nairaland, you still see and hear such stereotypes.

It is fear and begging that emboldens police to intimidate people.
Since the day I begged an officer to heaven and back over an issue he could have easily overlooked and he outrightly refused.
I now look them eye to eye and give them back hot and make sure I let them know I know my rights. Since then I have known peace.
It can go sideways, but it's a gamble I rather take than become their maga.

Forget. By the 6th round, wilder was already showing serious fatigue. Wilder is not used to going the distance unlike fury. Before fury, most of Wilders fights with others were KO's under 5 rounds.
He relies and is so used to that powerful right hand to the job, that he has forgotten how to give short Jabs and defend.
Fury's gameplan was to wear him out knowing Wilder doesn't have the stamina to go the distance.
Fury is the best in the division right now. His stamina and endurance can't be matched. I only see Usyk as a real challenge.
Wilder lost to a Better more composed fury. He should accept this and find peace with his loss.

Does he even know the number of Yoruba's living in the North that have become indigenous hausa's due to generations of residing there.
Go to Ayagi quarters & Parts of yakasai quarters in Kano, their Kids there are hausa , but you'd be shocked to hear their grand parents speaking fluent Yoruba. Go to parts of Funtua and Malumfashi in Katsina, even Sokoto city. There are many hausas there whose roots can be traced to Yoruba.
Even a former senator and governor in Kano have Yoruba roots which everyone knows, but they have assimilated with the indigenes and Everyone accepts them as Hausa.
