CoCoLav: I realize that this advice would have served you better before you submitted but I would still go ahead and say this. Its important that you click on the ? icon when uploading your documents to understand exactly what you are required to submit. This would go a long way in forestalling issues like this. A Church marriage certificate is not valid as proof of marriage for EE. You need one from the Court. Your relationship with your spouse for the purpose of EE is best described as common law or cohabitation which is what you should have selected and shown proof that you have been living together
People have used only church certificate and have got their PPR. |

Jaybye: Or maybe you guys didn't uncheck the left box (which indicates the receiving address of your ECA result copy is a Canadian one). The courier charge for this left part is way cheaper than the one on the right side (for an international destination which is suitable to us residing outside Canada). The total ECA fee should be at least 80k or thereabout. I still stand to be corrected by the gurus in the house though. The copy is coming through post not courier |

Porschefarmer: Good day guys
Please i need an urgent answer to this questions.
We are newly married. Wife will be the PA. Her passport and all her documents are still showing her dad's name. We have not done Court wedding but have done Traditional and white weddings.
1. Does she need to do change of name in her passport?
2. Do we need to do court wedding to show we are married or can we use the marriage certificate church gave us? If not, what do we use to show we are married? You can use your church marriage certificate
3. She wants to do her ECA and IELTS and her documents ARE Still in her dad's name, will it affect our application when she eventually changes to my surname?
Please we want to register for ECA Now. Your urgent replies will be appreciated. 4. |

Philippians4v9: Hi, Please see response in red
Would the IELTS exam type be "Academics or General Training" General - Also Is it paper-based? Because that's all I am seeing here is paper based. - Do I need to evaluate only my US Master degree or both Naija Bsc and US master degree.? Yes both He/She can evaluate only masters certificate.if you intend doing another masters in Canada then it will be better to evaluate the two;if not just evaluate the highest degree which is your Masters |

[quote author=laghopeful20181 post=75061317]Good Morning Everyone! Happy New Year!!
Congratulations to all on your PPRs and ITAs...some of you have contributed significantly to this thread and I am so happy to hear your good news!.
For those who don't know where I am coming from, I will just give a brief recap of my dilemma (please be patient as it has twists and turns): I had received an initial ITA and at the point of submission realised my husband's IELTS results had expired and we sadly had to decline the ITA. I was in the pool as PA and unaccompanying spouse with a crs of 451 and received another ITA. However I was too scared to decline this ITA. The last ITA of 2018 came and if I had declined the ITA and added my husband, we would have been fine. After all the research pointed to the fact that sponsoring a spouse would be hard, we took the very painful decision to reject the ITA. I had lost 5 points due to age and my IELTS expired on 7th of January.
Pls just apply with your spouse....cold is too much in Canada...wished I had told you this in December...Have Faith!!!!! |

234ng44uk: It's a really tough job trying to read through lots of junks on this thread just to get one or two posts containing any useful information. All the religious hypocrites are gathered here. Fornicators, thieves, experts in exam malpractices, those who borrowed funds for use as PoF, altered their date of birth and other rule breakers all coming here to form religious, barely able to write a sentence without bringing God's name to it. Shame on you. You are probably right but we r all here for one reason, our PPR,.Since we a multiethnic, multi religious country,so are we on this forum.prayer works for some and for others they don't need prayers but we can be accommodating of the next person. Let there be peace and love....k |

So, if it is considered a grave SIN/CRIME in the sight of the Almighty, then why not in the sight of we the creatures ? Adultery was also a crime when committed by women in the old testament |

ejimogu89: ejimoguemmanuel@gmail.com Lastly and certainly not the least...the place of PRAYER. I'm catholic, so when l saw the prayer to St. Joseph of Cupertino here, l made a mental note to say it. I started saying it every day from September till i wrote my exam on the 1st of November. I even added a 9 days St. Joseph of Cupertino novena with prayer and fasting which ended on the 31st of October (l'm that extra oh. I left no chances). I asked my family to add me in their prayers too. So, pray, pray and pray. Whatever works for you. Someone dropped one St. prayer here on financial assistance for POF, best believe l'll look for that prayer and do it too! Pls can you send me the prayer.Mucho gracias |
