RomanceRe: When Does A Woman's "no" Mean No!? by gen2genius(op): 7:25pm On Jul 04, 2009
That's exactly the group my Adora.K belongs lol cheesy

She'll soon return to say you're just being "stubborn." Funny babe grin grin
RomanceRe: When Does A Woman's "no" Mean No!? by gen2genius(op): 7:13pm On Jul 04, 2009
Hmm. . .and the woman that keeps saying "no" when she means "yes" is being what?  huh

By the way, it seems you're not a Nigerian. Am I right? wink
RomanceRe: When Does A Woman's "no" Mean No!? by gen2genius(op): 5:43pm On Jul 04, 2009
So, a man has to keep trying and trying before you'll agree to date him? If you keep doing that dear, you might end up marrying yourself. Not every man has the time to waste on juvenile hide-and-seek games wink
FamilyRe: What Should A Good Wife Do With Her Earnings? by gen2genius(op): 5:11pm On Jul 04, 2009
You're right ooo, sis. If the man is obligated to use his income for the welfare of the family; the same should apply to the woman. The home belongs to the two of them, not just the man. wink
FamilyRe: Guys, What Would You Do If. . . by gen2genius(op): 5:01pm On Jul 04, 2009
It's almost the same, dear wink Besides, onlookers would be wondering why you had to step in when it's not your palaver. In fact, you might end up blaming yourself undecided grin
FamilyRe: Should A Woman Respect Her Male Boss More Than Her Husband? by gen2genius(op): 12:00pm On Jul 04, 2009
There is a big difference b/w respect and submission. A Woman respect her boss and submit to her husband
I beg to disagree, ma'am wink Why would you submit to someone you don't respect? Is the submission out of fear? huh
FamilyRe: Men Who Patronise Prostitutes And Strippers by gen2genius(op): 11:54am On Jul 04, 2009
Lol, I've modified the topic for your sake wink

But still you didn't answer question. What do YOU think of them?
FamilyRe: Guys, What Would You Do If. . . by gen2genius(op): 11:51am On Jul 04, 2009
grin grin grin

Let's hope there's enough space to do that wink
RomanceRe: Is It Ideal To Get Pregnant Before Marriage? by gen2genius(op): 11:42am On Jul 04, 2009
Actually, the issue goes beyond the morality/immorality of the practice. The question is, is it normal for a man to insist that his fiance gets pregnant before they can be married?  huh
FamilyMen Who Patronise Prostitutes And Strippers by gen2genius(op): 8:09pm On Jul 03, 2009
Whether married or single. What do you think of them: fun-lovers or pervs? wink
RomanceRe: When Does A Woman's "no" Mean No!? by gen2genius(op): 6:22pm On Jul 03, 2009
if you really like sam1 you wil keep on trying until you die .
Yeah, cos all they live for is to chase women undecided
FamilyRe: Guys, What Would You Do If. . . by gen2genius(op): 6:14pm On Jul 03, 2009
however, if u are that gentle, i am sure a woman wanna rape you, you wont slap her, you will gentlemanly enjoy the ride.
So, then, a lady too should "ladily" enjoy the ride, without slapping (don't forget the "gender equality" thing) wink

However, if a woman wanna rape you, i am sure u are macho enuf to hold her down and run away, cos if you slap her, it is making u less of a man.
Haa. . .Bros, how do you hold down someone as heavy as Yokozuna (or any of these sumo wrestlers) when you're not half her size? shocked It's not always that easy oo grin grin
FamilyRe: Explain This! by gen2genius(op): 6:05pm On Jul 03, 2009
I agree with your points romeo.

But the reality is that the idea of ownership does not always bring about the positive results you mentioned. Don't forget that it's this same notion that make some people think they have the right to maltreat and abuse their spouse, afterall, the "purchase" has been made wink
FamilyRe: Guys, What Would You Do If. . . by gen2genius(op): 5:58pm On Jul 03, 2009
And what if a woman tries to rape a man and he hits her, would you clap for him? (Now don't tell me a woman can't rape a man wink )

@Ify. . .haba, I be "gentleman" ooo, you no see ma ID? angry

grin
RomanceRe: When Does A Woman's "no" Mean No!? by gen2genius(op): 5:52pm On Jul 03, 2009
I think I did. But actually, I've never had any reason to approach a lady for a relationship. It's never my style. It either happens the other way round or things just happen naturally wink
RomanceRe: I Feel My "Bad" Ex Is On The Winning Side Nd I Am On The Losing Side. by gen2genius(m): 5:46pm On Jul 03, 2009
And something else you mustn't forget is that a relationship can't work as it should if those involved in it don't have mutual feelings for each other. Here you are, dying for him. Does he feel the same way about you? If that's the case, I'm sure he would still have continued to communicate with you. If he has moved with his life and already found another woman (which is likely to be the case), what do you expect him to do - kick the woman out of his life for you, or make you a "spare part"?

Lady, just as I said before, work on yourself. I was forced to check your profile a few minutes ago and I have a feeling you look beautiful. If you combine this asset with other accomplishments in life, what makes you think you can NEVER get someone else that'll treat you as a princess and make you a happy and fulfilled woman in life? Be strong. Love is on the way wink
RomanceRe: When Does A Woman's "no" Mean No!? by gen2genius(op): 5:32pm On Jul 03, 2009
That's refreshing lol. . .thought the recession was taking its toll on my medula oblongata.

Yeah it's a long time, and it's interesting to know you've been in the "forum business" for that long shocked . You should be a "Grand Master," not just a "moderator."  wink cheesy

I don't know what happened to IK really, nor do I know if his intentions were altruistic or dubious. All I know is that shortly after the funds started coming in, the site suddenly went into oblivion. I should have joined NL since then, but as they say, "Once bitten. . ." wink
RomanceRe: I Feel My "Bad" Ex Is On The Winning Side Nd I Am On The Losing Side. by gen2genius(m): 5:14pm On Jul 03, 2009
But going back to him is not a bad option, only if he doesn't take u 2be a confused cheap slot.
Sorry, but aren't you being unrealistic here? How do you expect him to see her - like someone who knows what she's doing? See, this is a reality of life: whether you're a man or woman, the moment you begin to act like you can't do without someone or that it's the person that holds the key to your happiness and fulfilment in life, you risk becoming the person's slave!

@ Monica. . .I'm not saying you shouldn't go back to him or anyone else, but bear that fact in mind as you take the decision wink
RomanceRe: When Does A Woman's "no" Mean No!? by gen2genius(op): 5:05pm On Jul 03, 2009
I don't know lol. Unless i know what the site looks like, i'm not sure. I used to be in like 2 other forums which i don't remember, anyway i got bored really need to have my name patented rofl

Can you describe it?
grin grin grin

Well, it's exactly like this but was owned by one Igbo guy, I.K. At a time, he was requesting for funds to maintain the site and people contributed. Since then, huh I remember seeing your ID and mukina's on the site. Or maybe I was hallucinating (Anything can happen with this "meltdown" thing wink grin grin )
RomanceRe: I Feel My "Bad" Ex Is On The Winning Side Nd I Am On The Losing Side. by gen2genius(m): 4:55pm On Jul 03, 2009
Seriously, I don't think this is about your ex; I think it's about YOU. You're doing as if you can't survive without a man. And that's why you seem to be falling into the wrong hands. If I were you, I'd get a grip on my emotions, take my mind off relationships and focus more on myself, my career and other things that matter to me. I'd have a positive, independent attitude to life and by and by, I'd regain my confidence and self-esteem. That way, things would definitely change for the better

If you don't check that tendency to always look for some man to lean on, men will continue to take advantage of you. Forget your ex and any other man for now and concentrate on yourself. Develop your mind. Be strong! wink

RomanceRe: Is It Ideal To Get Pregnant Before Marriage? by gen2genius(op): 4:31pm On Jul 03, 2009
because they may want to TEST she is fertile
Which means he's marrying her because he needed a baby-making "machine"? And if she can't get pregnant immediately, then she becomes worthless and all the promises of love and commitment vanish just like that? huh
FamilyRe: Guys, What Would You Do If. . . by gen2genius(op): 4:13pm On Jul 03, 2009
huh huh huh

Oh, so, it's right for a wife to slap her husband if he has done something "stupendous"? I thought you mentioned in one of your posts that a man has no right to hit a woman irrespective of what she does? Is it different standards for men and women? huh

FamilyRe: Explain This! by gen2genius(op): 9:53am On Jul 03, 2009
That's my opinion too ooo, sister. Seriously, even though I don't see a woman as a property, I still don't get the rationale behind bride price. I guess it originated from the time when women were viewed as properties, and sadly, the practice persists undecided
FamilyRe: Guys, What Would You Do If. . . by gen2genius(op): 9:47am On Jul 03, 2009
@ Cold and Init, how would you react if it was ur wife that did it? lol wink

Why do some men INSIST on it? huh

Would you agree, as a lady? wink
FamilyRe: What Should A Good Wife Do With Her Earnings? by gen2genius(op): 6:47am On Jul 03, 2009
What if the man does same? Doesn't he have the right to "look good" too? Then everybody starves lol tongue
FamilyRe: Guys, What Would You Do If. . . by gen2genius(op): 6:36am On Jul 03, 2009
@ Cold, you're in the UK. You might be jailed for that, you know? Most times, no one cares about who started the aggression. The written and unwritten law everywhere says, "Thou shalt not beat a woman, WHATEVER (and that includes hitting) she does to you." So, she has the licence, but you don't. (At least, I read that on Nairaland almost everyday)  wink grin

Too bad guys, sucks huh
Way too bad lol, cos you might end up getting NOTHING after all the "risks." This love game sha undecided

I understand your point, ibk. Actually, no one is blaming them for following the rules; the problem is knowing the difference between when they're trying not to be cheap (as you said) and when they're ABSOLUTELY uninterested. Any hints? wink
