Well I don't underestimate what our "pot belle" generals can do

There is serious lack of tactics and common sense here. How can generals arrange this sort of communication on Whatsap for that matter. This country is something else

Why is it difficult for Nigerians to see that SOWORE is a good deal for Nigeria... He deserves to be the president of this country.

I actually voted for him after the 1st tenure of buhari then voted Obi in the last election. I gave up on Nigeria after the last election. However, if Sowore throws in the hat , I'll have to please my conscience. He deserves it. I strongly believe he can make a huge positive change

Developing countries need to industrialize fast by any means necessary to catch up with the 1st world countries. After that, we can start talking about decarbonization.

Imagine having a large expanse of land for solar farm because you are trying to reduce carbon emission yet displacing plant/animal life hence negative impact on the biodiversity....

Although I'm a sustainability expert, I am skeptical that there is a grand agenda to slow down development in Africa and countries with abundance of fossil fuel.

There is a commendable sense of security in lagos as such you should expect some level of infrastructural development. However I must say that Lagos is laid back in terms of waste management. Most of the streets and major roads are littered with trash. The Internal streets apart from areas in Ikoyi are a mess and undeveloped even with all the autonomy they claimed to have given to the LGs. Touts controlling highways, major roads and bus stops. It's actually a shame.

On the average if a woman provides for the family, its always penned down or on record. That's how they are created. I have carefully observed how my wife makes it news anytime she buys stuff for the kids and I'm okay with that. My wife hustles like she's the breadwinner and I'm okay with that. She is a good woman with very good character and im not trying to fault her. I work alot too but I don't make noise about it and i cover the bills. I have always lived my life without depending on people. Infact people mistake my driver for the husband of my wife.... Because he's always on errands for her. Whatever she does with her money is her business. Financially, I act like she doesn't exist. I am happy she contributes to the house too ( I let her understand that I see her efforts). Truth is that I don't go beyond my boundaries to please her, infact I have told her that I prefer to please myself before anyone and she's very aware.

In this life, as a man, please provide for your family no matter how little you earn otherwise you will loose respect even before the most loyal woman on earth. Don't spend beyond your limit (no do pass yourself). Take good care of yourself too because at the end of the day when you're gone, she'll most probably remarry and life continues and that's when you realize that the statement "there's always one man for every woman" is a fallacy. It's today I confirmed that truly the mainstream media e.g CNN, BBC and the likes are nothing but a bunch of liars. Those people don't have shame oo. Dem dey lie no be small.


If I hadn't watched that debate live, I would have probably believed that Kamala won, because that's exactly what CNN and BBC want people to believe.


Unfortunately for them, I watched it from the beginning till the end and saw for a fact that Donald Trump OBLITERATED Kamala. He focused on the topics while Kamala kept on avoiding the questions and resorted to insults by calling Trump a dictator, e.t.c.


Trump waited for Kamala to finish speaking before he responded, meanwhile, Kamala kept on interrupting Trump till the point that Trump had to tell her twice to keep quiet (he gave her a taste of her own medicine, since it's what she did to other candidates like Pence, in the past).


Trump's points on the Economy, Immigration, National security and Foreign policy far outweighed everything Kamala said. All Kamala did was to tell numerous lies like talking about love letters to North Korea's President, she lied on her stance on fracking and also the false creation of 800,000 jobs, which were actually jobs that people returned to after Covid.


The only topic that favoured Kamala was on abortion. That's a no-brainer. It was always going to favour her. Apart from that, Donald Trump won that debate hands down. Clear victory for President Trump.


Please mind how you watch CNN, BBC and the likes. They're liars and deceivers from the pits of hell. No wonder their ratings have been going down lately.

You are absolutely right. You took these words right out of my fingers. CNN is absolutely biased in their analysis. It's obviously clear they're rooting for Kamala. Trump was very focused on what he intends to do and that's a great plus for anyone with vision. Kamala didn't do badly in the debate but I expected more especially feeling sorry for the soldiers that lost their lives during evacuation from Afghanistan. She totally ignored that fact. She doesn't sound like a sincere person to me.

A very important point Trump made about having solar farms on very large acres of land negates the idea of sustainability in relation to the environment.

Kids are very adventurous and will always want to experiment. They climb alot. Parents just always have to be on the lookout so they don't get into dangerous situations

However, sometimes they can slip off your care no matter how careful you are.

For this case, I'll have to get the kid to wash off with some warning and smacking. I believe accidents do happen and it's important to stay calm, patient, and supportive when helping little ones navigate mishaps like this. It's a great opportunity to teach them about resilience and problem-solving!

So even if a man starts from a mansion, there is no guarantee that he'll remain there forever, he can still drop to a smaller apartment. So my point is for ladies to focus on ambition and plans .... some stages in life are Temporal. Life is a bit dynamic . What if the comfort you initially crave disappears after the wedding?

I have a lady relation who always boasts about the kind of man she'll marry- one that is Rich, with at least a car etc... Those days I used to laugh it off. Initial the man she married had a car etc but Today the man she's married to does not have those things -cars , no job. One has to be careful so you don't jump over what nature has prepared for you and end up in fire

This is beyond planting. The hardship Nigerians are facing is majorly artificial and caused by leadership failure. These so called leaders are feeding fat off Nigerians, pushing the poor to the wall. Nigerians must rise up in unison(that's if there can be unity of purpose) and call their bluffs. As long as they keep pampering the politicians and waiting for things to allign in their favour, the more the future is becoming bleak. From 1960 till date, nothing has changed. Nigerians stop fooling around. Chase these guys out and take your country back. It will not be easy, lives will be lost but it's a struggle worth sacrificing for if at all you need to see a change in your life time

Mine was worse than this . Lol.... I had a plan, and i was lucky to marry a lady with common sense and beauty for that matter. Funnily, we didn't spend up to 3 years in a rented apartment before we built our house. Today , some of our rooms are empty because the house bigger than our number. We have a well furnished garden where the kids can play. Today we are on our 3rd house in my state.

See we are less than 40yrs. Sometimes it's good for ladies to be humble and just focus on ambition. Every other thing will fall in place with time. Looking at colours or shape of cotton is absolutely childish and misleading.

We all have a choice anyways. I am not here to brag but to encourage young people who are keeping the focus. A critical questions the lady should ask is 'What am I bringing to the table'

We need to understand that in marriage, the husband is responsible for the safety and security of all family members including the wife. So his decision is very important especially in this instance of travelling far.

Although we don't know the circumstances surrounding him saying NO. However, some travels are not really expedient especially in this case where we have video calls. If the movement is of no economic value then the wife should apply common sense and obey the husband.

Ultimately, if the wife is wise, she should obey the husband and look for other approaches to convince the man on a later date if it's important to her. Any reasonable husband knows that it's good for himself and wife to visit his wife's people once in a while especially the parents. It's just normal

Not long distant errands. You can actually see the shop from my gate.

For cooking, we feel the earlier she learns , the better. I believe by 8 or 9 she should be good enough to handle basic cooking. It is for her own good. 13 is also good too but better to expose them earlier to cooking

White parents will typically let their 9 year old bake cakes, cookies, muffins at most. Baking is safe. But cooking for their entire family at unsupervised at 9?! What will the kid even cook? White people usually eat light and simple.

I agree with her aswell. I just don't think a 10 year old needs to cook for her entire family. That's extra. And I still maintain that it's laziness and poverty on the parents part.

I have a 6 year old girl that is washing dishes and learning how to cook. It has nothing to do with laziness our part as parents but training. She is properly supervised. Sometimes we also send her deliberately on errands to shops close by to get stuffs. These are just soft skills kids need to make them smarter. It has nothing to do with poverty or laziness.

@Sharon, there are lots of kids 5yrs, 6yrs+ at that age doing wonders. If you watch food Network, you'll see how these kids display the talents and when you hear their stories, most of them learnt from their parents and grandparents.

@jewessgratitude is absolutely spot on . Kids need to learn early and organically too. This applies to boys and girls. For me , I think it's better to learn the basics from parents or any adult close by before embarking on skills from social media . Nothing can replace traditional methods.

How can you get married without basic properties in a house not even a house you rented. You guys need to separate for sometime so you can get on your feet. Please don't risk it to get your wife pregnant. Use preventive measures during sex

I can't blame your wife because I don't know the hope you gave her when you asked for her hand in marriage. Maybe you promised her heaven and earth to make her say yes. I usually try to know how a marriage started before I try to settle a dispute in the marriage. If you don't know the cause of an illness, you can't excellently treat the illness. Endure the insult. Keep enduring until you have money to reduce the insult.

I couldn't agree more with you. Some men are not straightforward and realistic. You create false hope for a woman just to get her to marry you and then when reality dawns you begin to act like she doesn't love you. I had a friend who was always booking flight for his girlfriend then just to prove a point to her. This is someone i was earning more than. If you take away flight ticket, whats left would not really make impact. Borrowed money to organize wedding and all that. The the begining of problem because the woman will surely expect more when she gets into his house. What are you impressing a woman for?
