This is not correct. You can do court wedding without paying bride price. Infact when i did mine, only 2 of my friends were present to sign as witness. Our parents were absent because we felt it was unnecessary but for them to travel down.

However, bride price /traditional wedding is what our culture recognize. It has to do with recognition of the couples by the families. It's the most important as far as nigerian families are concerned. You may be deprived of certain traditional benefits if you're not traditionally married. Although those benefits will not prevent you from living your normal lives.

If you are a fan of African traditional culture, then you need to do it to promote the culture

As much as snoring is a disturbance, I don't think having This around your jaw is safe. Sometimes some people's nostrils are blocked hence the only way for air passage is through the mouth. So using this strap can prevent such person from receiving air and may kill the person. This is just an observation. No intention to spoil your business

While in the university, I witnessed a case of a guy and a girl who cohabitated. Pandemonium broke out at Oba Akran Ikeja area of Lagos State, as yet to be identified helicopter crashed into a building, and burst into flames.


The incident happened adjacent AP Filling Station, and United Bank For Africa, Oba Akran.


According to eyewitness, the incident happened at about 3.30pm.

It was not clear as at press time if the pilots of the chopper survived. It was not also clear if there are other causalities, as rescue operation by first emergency responders is on-going.

Men of the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service are being awaited for further emergency operation to salvage the situation.

This is actually ridiculous. One of the key strategies to sustainability as indicated in SDG is REUSE. The Nigeria as a country is amongst the countries that signed a pact to the SDG 2030.

The point is , to help protect the planet from climate change , it's important to encourage reuse of used clothing , electronics and other items. That way it will help limit industrial production which has a direct impact on the climate through release of carbon.

Nigerian govt lacks foresight on this regard. If they are trying to discourage importation then it will make sense due to emssion from transportation.
