You "Christians" here are highly dishonest people. The discrepancy here is just so glaring that any reasonable individual would own up to the mistake. It seems to me that this is a Nigerian thing. Little wonder you look at the country with all the years of prayers ,the country never progresses because the people are mainly insincere religious bigots. The painful part is when you try to be logical with them, they start abusing you or calling you derogatory names. Really pathetic. I always say it that the moment i try to do business with anyone and the person mentions "I am a pastor or Christian" to prove his/her capacity, I see that as a red flag and discontinue the business relationship. |
There is this food from the south east called OKPA.... I think it's made from corn, not quite sure That stuff is heavy , affordable, delicious and nutritious.... It's capable of sustaining one for a full day. Lol |
Very interesting Topic. I have never been a fan of working late. Although during my early career days before I got married , I usually sacrifice extra work hours to meet up with deadlines. A lady was my boss then. On a particular day when I got drenched in rain to meet up resumption and I realized that my boss never cared and i had asked for a raise earlier. I just went to my desk , drafted a resignation letter and off i went. She begged me afterwarsd but i refused. In the new office, i made up my mind never to commit an extra time except it is extremely important. I resumed the normal time and close exactly 5pm ensuring that i finish all tasks for the day. I made it clear to my male boss that i value my family over anything and he respects that. Worked for some years , got raise even though I leave earlier than everyone...lol Today i work from anywhere I like and i focus seriously on my family. |
Toluwanise247:Unbelievable. Like you mentioned , its like an evening tonic for my family. I always set my dstv to 151 and 153 to pick up the show every week day. Well, I think the young actors are outgrowing their roles except efe and prince (lol). It was fun while it lasted. My favourites are Lucky , SP-the crisis manager, P(L)ince...LOL The best African Comedy show for me |
Your pension is your property and no one has the right to deprive you of the 25%. It can only be delayed Here is my advice- Visit the office and humbly meet with the HR and explain yourself. You might get someone who Is close to the HR or admin officer to talk your case over. If you need to apologise please do so, if you need to hand over properly just do so and move on. What the pension guys wants to confirm is if you actually resigned officially |
This is actually spot on. 🙌💪👍 The thing about love (infatuation) is that there is a disconnect between the brain and reality. The sense of judgement at that point is blurred. It's like a sickness. It takes serious maturity to get a hold of yourself during the period of infatuation and not act foolishly. This advice will only work for youngsters who are open minde , surrounded by people with experience and are willing to learn because in reality, emotions can be checked |
damosky12:You actually sound like a fanatic because you're trying to disprove scientific logic to justify your belief. BBIA and kobojunkie are 💯 right. The Bible is clear about Jesus drinking wine. Wine is fruit that has undergone fermentation. That's why it's called wine. our grandparents and fore fathers enjoyed wine let alone people of old. Infact the wine had lots of health benefits if you understand the science behind fermentation. So coming here to twist the scripture and scientific facts just to make it look like Jesus never took alcohol makes you look dishonest. This is one thing I find very irritating in many who profess to be christians |
Not up to 24hrs ago, I mentioned that with the way the northern kingpins were complaining about this government, they may instigate northern soldiers to stage a coup de tat. People who thinking Nigeria has gone past this stage are just joking. Tinubu should thread carefully and watch his back. Any slight shake in the form a protest that's 75% effective I Lagos and Abuja, might make such aspiration a reality. May God help us |
These northern kingpins can't be trusted. All of a sudden they've found their voices. I am not a fan of Tinubu but I think he should watch his back. Anything is possible with these northerners especially when power doesn't favor. They can even silently instigate northern soldiers to stage a coup de tat. |
@OP I am really happy for you. I think you should print this message to your wife , laminate it or frame it and hang on your wall😆. She deserves all the praises and good things As you appreciate your wife online also make sure you do same offline and in front of your children so that the kids can learn the power of appreciation and be inspired. The world today is full of so much toxicity and we can get rid of such by openly commending people for their little efforts instead of criticizing. That said, I am also appreciative of the kind of wife God has blessed me with 🙏. |
Deew22:Just be yourself. They still see you as her friend so nothing spectacular until a formal introduction with your people Don't bother going with any gift . You don't need to impress anyone. Be plain and straight to the point when asked any questions. It's very important to accept whatever gift they give you. Even if it's food, accept and join them to eat. More importantly is to specially thank them for their gesture in receiving you to their home. Please don't talk too much. Talk only when it's necessary. |
toluxa1:Why is it looking like Ivory coast has up to 15 players in the field 😆. Na wa o This match go hard o .... anyways Nigeria for the win |
South Africa is playing quality football with solid structure in all fairness to them. Nigeria needs to put in more effort in the offensive. I can't understand why our defense is so porus. Anyways, Nigeria for the win |
Absolutely on the spot. The situation is really terrible for those with foresight. There is no hope However I fear how the masses will react when there is no straw to clutch on anymore. May God see Nigerians through the revolution |
Hello guys Considering the cost of refilling water dispenser or buying bottled water , I am considering getting a water purifier but I'm not sure of it's safety. Ever used a water filter and purifier like the image below? How safe is it , how long does it last and at what cost? I'll appreciate feedback. Appreciate

Sirsunola:Did you undergo a major surgery to treat malaria/thyphoid.?..... I dont get |
id911:https://www.webmd.com/diet/red-palm-oil-health-benefits This is a good read |
Jewessgratitud3:I respect our palm oil 💪. It has come a long way. I just want to be sure it's not causing any harm. |
hunkydory:Banga soup doesn't require any form of oil because there is oil naturally in the Banga |
samcolee:I suspect so... But what kind of chemical could that be ? |
mariahAngel:Pale and lifeless...... I rest my case I am very particular about presentation beyond the taste. Thanks |
post=127680798:Looks good. The amala is 😋 |
MrSly:I agree on the exercise aspect. Red oil has it's benefits and I'm not totally disregarding it. I have to read up on vegetable oil Thanks |
JuanDeDios:I can understand. Thanks |
Free2Fly:Thanks alot |
ahnie:Interesting. Lol. I like the redoil stew but I just prefer groundnut oil I believe you'll love groundnut oil stew just that you prefer the red oil type. |
Nbote:Can I use groundnut oil instead of red oil for soup?..... of course with other ingredients |
Dear Family, I have been having this back and forth debate with my wife regarding cooking soup with groundnut oil as against red oil but she is on the negative. I had cooked Egusi soup with groundnut oil and it taste really nice. I had also done same with okra sea food and its really nice. The reason why I want to do away with red oil is because I have been advised on my cholesterol level and the odour from palm (red) oil doesn't sit well with me these days. I want to serve my visitors Egusi soup prepared with groundnut oil but she's declined because she's not sure how it will be received....lol Does anyone have experiences with cooking soups with only groundnut oil and how does it taste. okra, bitterleaf, oha, vegetable, edikaikong, egusi, etc |
otomatic:No. They didn't |
