Well for japa jobs, you don try German Blue Card? It's possible to strike gold with that, although German tax nah die and like in most European countries, they don't pay that high (compared to U.S of course) especially if you are going to be staying in Germany.

Damn tech is so crazy. Even I get shocked of the kind of things I see everyday. Some survey was done on the salaries of Blockchain developers and the least salary came in at 650 USD a month and the highest came in at 30k USD a month.

I thought the 30k USD a month figure was just a lie until someone posted his total compensation in a data structures group I am a member of on Facebook. It came down to 33k USD a month and this person lives in Nigeria. Dropped out of futa after 2 years like has no degree and has been able to achieve this whereas someone with PhD Is teaching for 30k naira a month.

Life no balance o. God, tech is just one crazy field. Its why we should remain humble o cause no matter how big you think you are a ton of people are bigger.
You haven't seen anything yet. Go to a forum called Blind and you'll see TC (Total compensation) of 500 thousand dollars a year.

I will take it as an Ovation, as it stands if Asisat Oshoala and Ifeoma Onumonu makes a mistake now, Oshoala own will be loudest being the fact that she's the biggest, as the greatest female footballer in Africa, the most popular and one of the best in the World all eyes will definitely being on her, the pressure isn't easy ooo

Everyone around is expecting her to perform better than the others..
Same reason Messi and Ronaldo are easily criticized when they have just one bad day. It's more difficult to stay at the top and maintain the pressure of being at the top than to get there.

Well we can also say Ifeoma should have done better yesterday. Every Nigerian player can be criticized because we know their potential and we hold them to a high standard.

May God help us
It's majorly the fault of many Nigerians who go to commit crimes in these foreign countries.

It's not about Tayo Aina being denied, his case is not exception... At the moment Dubai government don't issue visa for guys under 35 yrs, Abu Dhabi visa is going through.

Moreover you didn't mention he later got the visa
I know he was approved after being denied twice, just tryna bring that to the limelight that Nigerians can hardly travel smoothly to some countries these days.

Go and see what Nigerians have done in Dubai.
Now it is difficult to go to dubai as a Nigerian.

Your money is now useless.
Tayo Aina was denied by Dubai recently, heck even Dangote was profiled in Angola despite the fact that he was invited by the Angolan President while his employees from other countries were allowed in quickly.

Is don’t think u will find much to do in Senegal. I’ve been there and I can tell u Nigeria is far ahead of them .
West Africa actually is quite behind though, we need to do better. Also, not many African countries are better than Nigeria. For me, Nigeria should just fix two things ASAP.
1) Bandits and Bokoharam issue
2) Electricity

Is it possible to start by searching for freelance gigs that are abroad? especially Europe and U.S. You stay in Nigeria while earning dollars, then you gradually master PHP and Javascript to also become more useful in Nigeria long term.

Nairaland news comes late. I prefer Twitter to get latest news as at when they are fresh. NL is only good for non headline gists
They also add some fake news too. For me, any news from Gazette or whatever, I always check again but on Nairaland that magazine makes front page all the time.

Now here is a Southern Governor that is working

Progress towards the construction of Nigeria's first smart airport terminal in Akwa Ibom. Comprising:

a) A digital robot self check in.
b) Automated luggage screening and weighing.

We also know Akwa Ibom as a state also has it's Airline "Ibom Air", one of the most efficiently ran Airline in Nigeria.

Well Nigeria still remains the best in Africa to me but if you must leave Nigeria then you have to be careful because these African countries are wary of Nigerians and seem to think we are all criminals. The other African country I like which is Namibia is not really English speaking.

The explanation is simple.

The boko haram crisis brought a lot of international focus on Nigeria. Nigeria attracted world bank and other institutional funding. What Buhari did was to direct this funding to the north while neglecting places like Niger delta.

So why are they painting it as if borno did something we don't understand?
It is worth commending these particular Northern Governors because we also had organizations like NDDC in the Niger Delta in addition to the 13% derivatives and we can't see what have been done (especially in states like Delta and Bayelsa). Many of the Southern Governors especially in the South South are our problems in the South. I say this as one from the South-South region. Some of the Northern Governors like the Governors of Borno, Kaduna, Nassarawa, and even Taraba (to an extent) have been dedicated in directing funds meant to the actual projects apart from what the Federal Government is doing.

quite petty too, they will collude with police to harass black foreigners
in kenya we have countless stories of people being mistreated while in tanzania

they burnt baby chickens alive just because they were imported from kenya, twice
Wow so does that mean Tanzania does not import anything from Kenya at all? I saw a news report that states that trade between Tanzania and Kenya have reached 1 Billion dollars.
