How anyone in their right mind can say she is not fit to be captain of the Super Falcons is not only ridiculous, but incredibly stupid.

https://www.fifa.com/fifaplus/en/watch/series/2oRX5Dw4vZfJqHWFMdfVtX/2QITv3IcTSFcIdZ2wToTa5/3fcx03LcgJy2W6nOuX3cbM
She is fit to be captain but it doesn't mean she should be made captain. Best players are not always captains of their side. For me I prefer older members of a team who are still in form preferably in defense or midfield positions as captains.

Boris Johnson a month and a half ago, "Now we will cripple the economy of the Russian Federation"

Vladimir Putin "It is impossible to isolate a large country like Russia"

Na now I dey understand Wetin putin talk here sef grin When Putin said this, he wasn't talking aboit Russia's huge land masses. He was referring to Russia's natural resources since apparently Russia is the country with the most natural resources in the entire world
https://miningdigital.com/top10/top-10-countries-based-on-natural-resources

https://www.statista.com/statistics/748223/leading-countries-based-on-natural-resource-value/

This means that in dark hours like this, Russia can just start doing bonanza with their unlimited natural resources and customers go line up full everywhere grin
China has been ramping up import of Russian Oil, gas, coal etc. India said they cannot let this bonanza by the Russians pass them by grin
Turkey said they will NOT sanction Russia as doing that may complicate the access they currently have to Russian cheap oil, gas and other resources. Japan immediately commented that Tearing off the oil contract they have with Russia is not on the table. South Korea, the so called USA ally too is busy ramping up Russian goods import. Hungary said they are ready to pay in Ruble or any currency russia wants, provided they continue getting that cheap, oil and gas russia showers her customers with grin OPEC said they cannot afford to lose Russian gas grin

Meanwhile, to celebrate this invasion, Russia needs to secure one thing in ukraine.
There's a huge, like extremely huge oil reserve in the shores of Crimea. Russia secured that one in 2014. Now, Ukraine's biggest natural resources reserve is located in Donbas, Eastern Ukraine. If Ukraine loses that, they've lost everything. I'm readong now that Russian troops are gathering for a major offensive to capture Donbas and other eastern states in ukraine. If putin can get Donbas, and that sweet untapped oil, Russia wins, Ukraine loses big time
Wow I used to think Dr Congo had the most natural resources in the entire world.

Brilliant line up. Can Patricia George also start ahead of Alozie with Alozie probably coming in later on. If I'm not mistaken, George can play on that wing as well.

She has the quickest feet's among them even till date!
One player I liked then that faded too quickly for me was Ebere Orji. A bundle of talents who just declined as she grew older like Wayne Rooney.

You can't tell me that Oparanozie is that Slow, her pace was way above Average then..
Someone who can run with the ball from Midfield to box 18 haba... Maybe have been watching the wrong Oparanozie
In comparison to the other attackers then, Ordega, Esther, Okobi, and the likes, she wasn't the quickest all round but had quick feets and was definitely the most dangerous in those days. We definitely missed her in 2012 AWCON when her club didn't release her.

Not saying that she should start but when was Oparanozie ever fast? She is probably in better shape now than she has ever been.
Exactly, even in her U20 days (2012), she was the best player on the pitch but not fast.

He made Anambra have the best road network, built and equipped the university teaching hospital at Awka, built flyover at onitsha, made the state come first position consecutively in waec following his educational reform etc
He equipped one University teaching Hospital and built one flyover? I am not impressed. Why did he leave Onitsha so dirty? I was at Okpoko in 2013 and apart from Makoko I have never seen such a site.

I don't know about others but my ideology aligns more with the APC's drive for infrastructure. Athough they failed at it so far, they seem to speak more about it than the PDP.

Peter Obi has good ideologies but he seems to believe his selling point is that he saved money for Anambra. To me, that is not enough. Nigeria needs infrastructure, Obi couldn't even focus on waste management and pipeborne water. Many other Governors so far have also failed at providing Pipeborne water or the focus on Waste management.

And..we need more central defenders.
We only have Ohale, Plumptre and Ebi for now Demehin?
I lost a little faith in Demehin from the poor outing against the Moroccan clubside for Rivers Angels. She is solid but needs to learn more especially against skillful attackers. Most likely one for the future.

Well, Abiodun is also another option. Mbadi has been with the team for some time now that's why I included her name.
Peace Effih can also play as an attacking midfielder even. The coach may just have to put 2 and 2 together and he strikes gold.

The last spot is probably between Rita,Okobi and Onyi. Her time will come but I don't think she will be going to AWCON
Do you think Mbadi is that good? I'll say we look into Abiodun.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 3:56pm On Apr 13, 2022
I think Onumonu would be highly unplayable with a creative and fast attacking midfielder behind her. Her strength seem to be in positioning and good finishing. She hardly gets chances in our present game plan, but she is a player who would not miss so many chances if fed well. It's exciting to have her, Esther, and Oshoala.

@Schemerkhiz one thing I'll like your opinion on is how Perpetual Nwokocha became that relevant. I don't know how credible the information on Wikipedia is, but I recently tried to draw parallels between certain players and I noticed something;

Mercy Akide aged 46
Florence Omagbemi aged 47
Ngozi Eucharia aged 48

Then,

Perpetual Nwokocha aged 46

They are obviously around the same age range but one went on to be the most successful player of her time. What exactly led to this? It appears the other women got into the team earlier than she did and also retired early, but what made Perpetual different?

Would love your input if you can. Just curious really
What I noticed was that unlike them, Perpetua started slowly (playing more of a midfield role) and immediately they began to resign, Perpetua was just gearing up at the same time.
Mercy Akide was always a great striker from the moment she was discovered until her retirement.

The green snake is just a Judas.

I am very sure when Tinubu picked him as VP back in 2014 he would have thought since he is a pastor he is going to keep to agreement not know the Judas blood that flows in him will come out once he taste power.

It's quite surprising when people say they don't see anything bad in what that midget did.

Why not assume someone that is suppose to be your close pal and ally, someone you've broken bread with now turning out to be the one to betray you. How would you feel.

There are just some moral grounds you don't cross. If I am to be tinubu and I win the presidency God know I will go after him with full force efcc, icpc et Al. All thr money he has stolen, he will vomit it. Because nothing hurts more than the betrayal of a close pal.

I detest betrayal, I detest greed and I detest power drunken nature.

Fake pastor.

#PastorTheJudas
#OsinbanjoTheJudas
There is no betrayal there. He has the right to run and test his popularity, he doesn't have to wait for Tinubu. In life, you take your chances when they present themselves.

Thank God we have Onumonu sha. Now the talk of Oshoala as the center of our attack has reduced tremendously.
