Lagos
|
phemmyfour:It will. |
lexy2014:No he's not the first but Adenuga has avoided politicians since Obasanjo almost wrecked him in 2003. It's not an achievement. |
iyatrustee:Surprisingly he's visited Asiwaju twice now. I can't remember when last Adenuga visited any other politician in Nigeria. |
Nonny95:So who would speak for Tinubu in Newyork on September 19 (the one Biden invited him)? |
chopnaira:Even Mike Adenuga, a very private person have come out on two occasions now to meet Tinubu. |
Obidients let's cancel all of them. Don't patronize any of them again. I hereby declare them cancelled. Ellupee. |
lexy2014:Why una stop? |
Akoko1stooni:This is what the school's lawyer responded to Tinubu's claim.
|
Akoko1stooni:I think he used affidavit in 1999. The major problem in 1999 was about primary and secondary school. In 1992, when he applied himself as a senator without using a middle man, he never presented primary or secondary school. Just Richard Dalley College and CSU, which he repeated again in 2023 application. |
Akoko1stooni:Go and do your research. CSU in their latest statement under supboena when told that Tinubu's lawyers said the mistakes were from a school clerk admitted that it's a possibility. The certificate he got for INEC was not the original since he lost his certificate in the mid nineties when he escaped from prison to Benin Republic as a refugee. The one he got for INEC was more or less like a placeholder as he applied for a new one. In December 2022 during Chatham House interview, he made it clear that the University has signalled to him that his certificate is now ready. Recently in June 2023, he went to the University to get his certificate and all his transcripts and even had them certified by a school lawyer. Those are what he presented before the appeal court as a counter to Atiku. Atiku knowing that he has lost because he presented uncertified copies before the court, then went all the way to America in order to get copies from the school that are certified (something he should have done prior). Because of this Tinubu made him pay for that mistake by not helping his case and blocking him from accessing the documents. Do you get it now? |
Newton2024:Because he lost his certificate before and had to get a replacement. |
mbaboy:They have not come out to say he forged any certificate. He said the school clerk he got the latest replacement certificate from made the errors and the school admitted that is a possibility. So how did he forge the certificate? If he forged the certificate, would he be bold enough to accuse the school clerk? |
Story. As long as the school maintains he was their student, that bears more weight in any court of law than all the conspiracy theories and gibberish you typed there. |
This article offers insight on why the coup took place. Social media hijacked it as majorly Anti-French coup as though that was the sole or major reason. Tchiani who has never shown any sign of been anti-French prior to this, simply hijacked this sentiment of the people and the rumours on social media to cement his legitimacy and evoke sympathy. https://www.voaafrica.com/amp/analysts-niger-president-s-assertive-push-for-reforms-led-to-coup/7213880.html |
vankelvin:Story of Niger's Coup NIAMEY — Niger's coup was the culmination of months of acrimony between President Mohamed Bazoum and his chief guard over the leader's attempts to emerge from the shadow of his predecessor, people familiar with the matter said. Since taking over from his political godfather Mahamadou Issoufou in 2021, Bazoum had sought to stamp his authority on the West African country by sidelining a number of senior people in both the military and public administration. That assertive drive became his Achilles heel. When the head of his powerful presidential guard, Gen. Abdourahamane Tchiani, feared he was next for the chop, he turned on his boss, confident other military commanders would eventually fall in line, the people familiar with the matter said. This account of how Niger's coup unfolded is based on 15 interviews with Nigerien security officials, politicians, as well as current and former Western government officials. Neither Tchiani or Bazoum could be reached for comment. In his first address following the July 26 coup, Tchiani said he had ousted the president for the good of the country. Since coming to power, Bazoum had reinforced military cooperation with France and the United States, curbed the autonomy of Nigerien army commanders and launched anti-corruption programs that targeted some of Issoufou's proteges, notably in the oil sector, making enemies in the process. Tchiani, who was head of Issoufou's guard for a decade and helped thwart a coup days before Bazoum took over, stayed on in his role under the new president, commanding the most powerful and best-equipped force based in the capital Niamey. But in recent months, Bazoum had curtailed the size of the presidential guard, which was about 700-strong at the time of the coup, and started to scrutinize its budget. Keen to save his own skin, Tchiani, a man who had worked his way up through the ranks and was named general by Issoufou, had sounded out a select few commanders about his coup plans to ensure other branches of the military would not oppose him, two people with knowledge of the coup plotter's thinking said. Reuters was unable to determine which commanders had been briefed by Tchiani. Tchiani also waited until large numbers of troops had been dispatched from Niamey to Diffa, a 20-hour drive away on the southeastern fringes of Niger, to participate in Independence Day celebrations scheduled for Aug. 3, the two people said. |
Omoawoke2:Was it GEJ or Buhari that resolved it through Hadi Sirika? |
happney65:Can Terminal 2 accommodate all airlines? |
Anthos:Emotions hardly get one anywhere. He alone met all requirements. As for certificate, the law requires at least participation in WAEC. He submitted a Bsc degree (which the university has not denied). Obi submitted G.C.E in 2 sittings. Total votes was 8.7 million. Give me evidence Tinubu tore people's votes and harassed and killed people in the presidential election. Did Tinubu also do all that in Anambra and Abia? I can also say anyone supporting Obi for Nigeria, won't end well. |
MrAmaechi:Una sabi believe anything ehn, chai. Even me, I nor badu Obi but I nor go just read something once from APC then believe am straight. But Obidients nor be like that. Una dey bust my head everyday. |
tubolancer:I have an educated person with masters degree who argued that thing with me passionately that I began to doubt my intellect. I con dey wonder whether na me nor get sense abi wetin? Because this girl is otherwise very intelligent but a believer in Nnamdi kanu. She analyzed for me in details why Buhari was certainly a clone. |
darealez:Exactly that's what I'm saying. If you know this, then why do Obidients speak and write as though true justice is the one that goes against Tinubu? True justice could also uphold Tinubu. Don't you think so? |
darealez:Real justice from what I see would be that all the cases brought forward against Tinubu's presidency at the electoral tribunal be dismissed with a heavy fine of at least 100 million naira each to be paid by the petitioners for wasting the time of the court with frivolous petitions. |
MICHEALADEX:Gloria Tinubu
