yemmit90: I think I read somewhere that Tinubu only summited affidavit of his CSU certificate. If that is the case, whatever release to Atiku is of no use in the court.
Besides, they can only use B.sc result to judge him since it is only credential he summited to inec.
CaptainFM1: Let's not deviate from the real topic. No body is questioning whether he attended CSU or not. Even the school came out to say someone by the name Bolla Tiinubu, "f" attended their institution. They also did say they don't know where the respondent got the certificate he tendered to INEC from.
The case isn't about if he attended CSU bro. The case is... "the certificate he gave INEC, was it the one issued by CSU or the one printed from cyber cafe" You get it now?
If your certificate is missing, would you go and print another one from a business centre or you will approach the institution that issued you?
I also believe he attended CSU. No question about that. Stay on the topic and don't twist or turn around pls.
I hope this clarifies.
If this is all you are concerned about, then there's no case anymore because the University said they don't keep records of every diploma they issue to their students, just the transcripts and this is why they can't authenticate whatever Tinubu submitted to INEC. Tinubu collected his cert twice. He misplaced the 1979 copy and had a replacement later on.
lovewins: Flourish Sabastine has today arrived in France to complete a move to French first division women's club Stade de Reims from Bayelsa Queens.
The 18-years-old forward is expected to be unveiled in the coming days subject to successful medical and agreement of terms.
She will be the third Nigerian player to join the club in the last 12 months after her FIFA 2022 Women's World Cup teammates: Rofiat Imuran and Oluwatosin Demehin.

So happy for her. Hoping this pulls through
Nice. On a side note, that left back Rofiat Imuran is a bundle of talent.
Jlow2: they stick their neck for tinubu and refused to swear under oath or confirm that the certificate tinubu submitted to inec was from them? they only said tinubu indeed graduated from the university but dnt know if the certificate he tendered to inec was from them and only a court of jurisdiction will compel them to tender tinubus certificates to Atiku because of the privacy law, so how did they stick their neck for him, you think it’s your normal cash and carry judiciary?
They only said they don't keep records of certificates issued to students. Two certificates were issued at different times. One in 1979 and the other most likely around 1999 because Tinubu lost his certificate when he escaped Nigeria to Benin Republic in 1994. In 1992 he applied for Senate and had no problem submitting his original certificate then.
Certificates to CSU and some American Universities are ceremonial documents and they don't keep records of certificates issued to students and that's the position of CSU. They are however ready to release his transcripts and other documents they have.
mostob: Malawi may have won the match but the Sychelles girls won our hearts. Can you help with some info about that Sychelles GK or the one standing by her left?
Why is Malawi not ranked high enough to participate in WAFCON qualifiers?
popizaino: Floating the naira was overdue. Our foreign reserve is completely depleted and as such the FG did what is best in her own interest to float the currency in order not to shoulder the responsibility of defending the exchange rate. You know what they say about Desperate times?
Well both policies are necessary then but at least one of them should have been done a long time ago. But doing both at thesame time was always going to lead to economic shocks. At least the naira in my opinion, should have been devalued steadily over 3 months due to the removal of fuel subsidy.
RomanGreen: Please shut it, Davis won't make spurious allegations without proofs else ask yourself why Buhari and now Tinubu is after him dead or alive. His journalistic work watered the ground for Atiku's ongoing court case with Tinubu in the USA. That's enough reason hunt down David. So please keep shut and enjoy your corn in peace.
If the Nigerian Government can lure Kanu from England to Kenya and then capture him, if they could track a suspected terrorist sponsor to Egypt and have the Egyptian Government deport him to Kano, how much more a refugee in Ghana (a strong ECOWAS ally to Nigeria)? It's so easy for them. It means the Nigerian Government do not care about him.

popizaino: Although,i didn't join the discussion about subsidy removal when it was on this thread, but i supported the full removal in my mind hoping and believing that a Tinubu led government would have thought about the adverse effect on us and put up measures to cushion the effect. And about Kenya,i am too West African centric to think about Kenya and Ruto. The policies in Benin 🇧🇯 Republic, Togo 🇹🇬, Ghana 🇬🇭, Cote D'Ivoire has much effect on my business than having to worry about Kenya.
Removing the subsidy is not a problem in my opinion, rather the quick floating of the exchange rate is the issue for me. I supported subsidy removal but initially never supported floating of the exchange rate. When he did it initially in June and the black market remained steady, I almost had a change of mind but now we've seen the parallel market run away again. He can still find a way to overcome the resulting challenge from that policy though.
vaxx: Cocoa and gold ( the two major commodities) Ghana export have seen a sudden rise in price and you expect Ghana to maintain the Cocoa bag size currency that has no value ?
I repeat no country economy grow at that rate , the only country close to that was china and they were doing 10 percent . When Nigeria economy was growing in triple , just right here in 2010, I remember buying dollar in Nigeria around 120 naira to a dollar. This is when Nigeria economy was growing at 7 percent or so. Even before the rebasement in 2014...
Ghana cedis is even undervalued , our currency is currently not treading at it's real rate
In 2002, we grew 15%. It's easy to grow when you are down down from where you supposed to be.
Obaaderemi2: You've not been following, popizaino. The same rvp who said removing full fuel subsidy was the right thing. When I said it here that subsidy was necessary people like generadae and the same rvp said full removal was necessary. I even gave the example of Iran where almost everything is subsidized. I don't really support full subsidy but yanking it off completely like rvp and the rest were saying got us here.
Look at Kenya too. We told rvp ruto was a failure who was only there to play the imf script, he said we didn't know what we were saying. Look at Kenya after Ruto won.
Oh I missed this somehow. I still support fuel subsidy removal in the case of Nigeria. What I never supported initially was floating of the naira. But when it was done, I thought the CBN would have a strategy to not allow the black market run away and encourage dollars inflow into the system.
But then the CBN clearly didn't have that strategy. At least not in this short timeframe. If the exchange rate was still 460, fuel would be 400 naira now.
vaxx: Ghana for see an economic growth of around 14 percent growth in 2011. That was the largest through out the world . You don't need to believe me , research it . Them imf nickname Ghana as a golden child
Research bro
What was the economic growth in 2007/2008 when the redesign was done?
Many African countries grew at that rate from 2000-2019. So it's nothing out of this world for the times. Take Nigeria for instance. In 2002 only, Nigeria grew 15%. From 2000-2014 Nigeria grew at an average of 7%.
vaxx: Just like naira , even your Green passport is currently in free fall now.
Ghana just don't redonominate her currency then. the economy was the reason then , we were growing at 14 percent , the highest in the whole world by then , so it is unreasonable to be working with a paper bag ( the civil servant wages has increased , so is the domestic gross product of the country. Therefore the old cedis was just at odd against the current successful Ghana, hence the redonomination. It just doesn't come suddenly because of bragging but practical economics reality.
As at now , you can see Nigeria also need haircut on her debt like Ghana , she need to first cut her domestic debt first . That is more profound .
If what you say is true then the currency should hardly have been on such a free fall since it was redenominated. It was falling year on year from 2008 to 2010. If the economy was growing and you had to remove 4 zeros only for that reason, the currency shouldn't be losing 11-15 times it's value in just less than two decades.
Obaaderemi2: What is wrong with Ghana? Even with such tiny population they're always having money issues.
Ghana, Sierraleone, Guinea, etc. When you look at their currencies, you are talking Hundreds of thousands to the dollar or one million to a dollar. Thank God Ghana redenominated in 2007 removing four zeros.
You can tell that even the Francophone countries in West Africa would likely have had same problem but for the CFA Francs managed by France and this is why their inflation has always been manageable compared to the likes of Nigeria and Ghana.
We West Africans need self introspection and we need to tell ourselves the truth. Something is wrong.
Authoreety: Yes.. Nigerianz deserve whatever they get
Nigeria's problems are beyond just one man or the president. I don't see what Obi would have done. There is a little subsidy now and Obi also spoke of reducing subsidy by over 50%. The only mistake I think Tinubu has made so far was the quick floating of the exchange rate.
kettykings: Which bank, the biggest banks in Nigeria are owned by niger delta. Access , zenith, UBA, stanbic ,these 4 banks combined are bigger than first bank, gtb, wema, fcmb in asset base, tax base profitability, revenue, growth rate , bank branches, how exactly do yorubas control or dominate the banking industry please. In ICT , one mtn, is bigger than all IT , telecommunications company owned by yorubas or even controlled by them , glo, 9mobile airtel . In revenue, profitability etc
You have a point on the Banks but name top fintech guys in the country, they are mostly Yorubas.
mrvitalis: So you are comparing North ( North West North East, North Central) to just South West
What exactly is wrong with you people
The whole North 3 zones having same number of appointment as South West proves the point
South West is a major tribe in Nigeria. A big tribe that only extends to Kwara and parts of Kogi and Niger in North Central. Igbo is also 5 states plus parts of Delta, Rivers, Benue, and Kogi. Hausas also are a big tribe but do not occupy the entire North.
fulanimafia: We thank Mr. President and pray for the success of his administration.
God bless Nigeria 🇳🇬.
So why are people saying he's appointed only Yorubas? If we tell ourselves the truth, Yorubas dominate Finance, Banking and ICT both in Nigeria and in Diaspora. Igbos dominate smes. Hausas Agriculture.
BlackRains: So in summery, what's the law all about?
Buhari's Goverment had signed a bill that allowed states control their own electricity generation. Tinubu then signed the Electricity Act guiding this bill into law. However, only Lagos, Edo, and Kaduna had state laws to follow this and put into effect immediately. Enugu has just joined the league.
IfnobeGod20: Mr. Man,there are never a time Atiku claimed Tinubu never graduate from CSU but he is particular about the differences and discrepancies in the certificates same university claimed to have issued that bear different date of award, date of birth, and sex. Have you looked keenly on the transcript posted on this thread having same discrepancies, the date of birth of Tinubu on the transcript is reading 1954 while Tinubu's INEC form date of birth reads 1952. You will equally see that his sex on the transcript bears female. Thankfully, the university had agreed that "it could be human mistakes" but vehemently refused to swear on oath in court to sanctify his claims. The university just trying to play save as not be sanction by the US authority for such monumental error. But let us see how they will wiggle their way out of this in a system that works like US. If they own up to the error, it is a big problem for them, it means lack of competence and it will reduce the rating of the university but if they deny the errors to have emanated from them, Tinubu will be in big soap. Let us see what will happen as the judge gives final decision.
The case before the U.S court is whether or not Tinubu's transcripts and school records should be released to Atiku. Richard Daley College (formerly Southwest College) who put female as Tinubu's sex were also the ones who gave Tinubu an award in 2001 as their prestigious alumni. This means it was most likely a mistake except you're saying they've always seen Tinubu as transgender. Atiku should just leave this election thing and go back to Dubai.
samorobo: Mehn, Nairobi is fvcking ugly and dusty. This looks like a laid back village city with dusty and poorly maintained buildings. Those buildings will look better with a brush of paint.
