Phones / Re: Here Are 5 Things You Should Do Before Buying Your Next Smartphone by genuinechimere(m): 11:27am On Mar 29, 2016
my sister was given a new Tecno M5 last year. unknown to the person that bought the phone, the phone is fake. The phone's charger doesn't charge it. it selects charger. my other sister that uses similar phone couldn't configure it to make the apps work and surf the net. she has gotten another phone anyway. I'm thinking of what to do with the phone. is there anything that can be done to the phone to fix it?

CFCman:

Nah, Obama has never served Bill Clinton in any capacity. Obama was an Illinois State legislator, before he ran for and won a US Senatorial election in 2004.

BTW, the Clinton's despise him. They've never really forgiven him for halting Hillary's March to the presidency in 2008. Hillary only grudgingly accepted to be his Secretary of State.

There have White House insiders who recall that Obama and Hillary engaged in shouting matches, sometimes. The bone of contention was that Hillary refused to essentially take orders from the likes of Valerie Jarrett - a trusted Obama adviser - and the First Lady, Michelle.
but Bill Clinton campaigned for Obama in 2012

It's his. It even matching his trousers. Clinton did not wear a coat. Judging from his shirt. I think Obama was already a rising politician by then.

Yea. It goes with the prophesy in the bible of the kinda men of God that we will have these times. I just pray God leads me to the right path. Humans have made Christianity so confusing.
I sometimes feel, Christianity has been hijacked. The apostles in the Bible never owned a Church or opened a ministry in their name. Denomination isn't God's idea. Man may have made Christianity confusing, but I don't get confused about it. My motto is: that I may know Christ and His finished works on the cross.

Yea... I v listened to some nice priests like Fr. Dibie. Buh then the parish priests are just vague abt the Word. You leave every sunday feeling empty. CBIU is a strong group. I ll study abt them a lil. Same with charismatics. But why cant I get this spirituality from the church, why church groups?
. It depends on †ђξ priest in charge, where I worship most times, u will feel †ђξ electrifying touch of †ђξ word during mass. I don't go there always cuz of distance. There are some protestant pastors that are vague in †ђξ word too. It's not about denomination, it's about †ђξ priest in charge of that particular church where u worship. I've seen some pentecostal churches where †ђξ pastors just run around vaguely in †нεir teachings. I don't condemn or look at them in disdain.

Bro, I want to be a true Christian in catholic church. But the Word there is weak. I got more conscious of building a relationship with God when I visited another church, just the preaching for that day gave me a serious rethink. I came back to my catholic church and I wasnt feeling it. I really want to get close to God in catholic not just observing catholic rituals and doctrines. Christianity is way deeper than that.
I think it's from †ђξ parish and †ђξ priest in charge. My local parish is like that too. There was this charismatic priest that was in my local parish, I enjoyed every bit of his teaching, ever since he was transferred other ones that have been coming haven't been that charismatic. What I did was to move to another parish(I still attend my local parish), which has really helped me a lot. But I don't totally depend on church for spiritual growth. There are groups in †ђξ church, like the CBIU, CBM, CCRN, etc that can fill up that vacuum. I've got this plan to join CBIU. Bless you

You are suggesting that the government tax Nigerians abroad so that they can have money to buy more BMWs?
Besides the United States that newly introduced this policy, pray tell me which other countries are doing the same? Are you also aware that an increasing number of US citizens are giving up their citizenship because of this?
It is these silly flash ideas that are not thought through that are and will ruin things.
Just like the ill conceived directive banning banks from accepting foreign currency into domiciliary accounts that was reversed just a few days ago. I laughed when I got messages from Banks about the reversal and was spooked to read a few days later that the Banks were surprised people are not forthcoming.
What about the governments of the countries Nigerians are living requesting from our government payment for hosting and "taking care" of her citizens.
I really wrote that tongue-in-cheek

Science/Technology / X-ray Vision? New Technology Uses Radio Signals To Track People Through Walls by genuinechimere(m): 6:28pm On Dec 23, 2015
A group of researchers led by Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor Dina Katabi has developed software that uses variations in radio signals to recognize human silhouettes through walls and track their movements.

Researchers say the technology will be able to help health care providers and families keep closer tabs on toddlers and the elderly, and it could be a new strategic tool for law enforcement and the military.

“Think of it just like cameras, except that it’s not a camera,” said Fadel Adib, a researcher on the MIT team developing the device.

“It’s a sensor that can monitor people and allow you to control devices just by pointing at them,” he said.

Work began in 2012 to determine how wireless signals could be used to “see” what’s happening in another room, said Katabi, who directs the MIT Wireless Center.

“At first we were just interested … can you at all use wireless signals to detect what’s happening in occluded spaces, behind a wall, couch, something like that,” Katabi said.

“It turned out that we were able to detect that. And when we figured out we could detect that, we started asking more advanced questions: Could we use it to detect exactly how people are moving in a space if they are behind a wall?”

The device displays the signal on a screen, where the person’s movements can be tracked in real time. It depicts the target as a red dot moving around the room, occupying a chair and speeding up or slowing down.

The wireless signals used to track a person’s motions also can measure the individual’s breathing and heart rate — and potentially identify the person based on the shape of his or her skeleton, said researcher Zach Kabelac.

“The person won’t be wearing anything on them, and the person it’s tracking doesn’t even need to know the device is there,” Kabelac said.

“If something unfortunate happens to them, like a fall, the device will contact the caregiver that they chose to alert” by generating a text message or an email, he added.

That makes health care applications especially interesting, Katabi said. But she also sees military and law enforcement possibilities — particularly in hostage situations.

“You don’t want to send the police inside without knowing where the people are standing or where the hostages are,” she said. “If there is someone with a gun, where they are standing?”

A company set up to market the technology, now dubbed Emerald, will spin out of the MIT lab next year, with a goal of marketing the device early in 2017, and it’s expected to sell for $250-$300, Adib said. The team is working to make the device smaller and to develop an interface that will let users configure it through a smartphone app, Katabi added.

The technology raises questions about privacy rights and intrusion, and Adib said the team gave serious thought to those implications.

“The user interface will be friendly for setting it up and using it at home, but it will be very hard to use it to track someone just by pointing it at their wall,” he said.

“Think of it this way: Your cellphone already has wireless signals that can traverse walls, but how many people can use these signals to actually see through walls? The reason people can’t do that is that the user interface does not expose this information.”

this is no strategic alliance. If Nigeria wants to ally with any country. It should be to shoulder-to-shoulder, not being a puppet. Adopting another country's currency as legal tender is puppetry.
