In constructing the foundation, we dug the ground, filled it up with gravel mixed with cement. Then I set two planks, cast it and later laid 3 layer blocks then cast two planks again. Now, I am done with sandfilling and plan to begin to build. Please, are there alternatives to german floor as this appears way too expensive for my building plan. Guys who have built in the area didn't do german floor and they aren't having any flood-related challenges.
