GenBuhari: I pray that oil prices would crash
that oil prices would crash and Nigeria's revenue from oil exports also crashes
I pray that cost of fuel is raised some more to its maximum.
I pray that electricity collapses completely.
I pray that the government would run out of money
I pray that the Nigerian masses would reach their lowest living standard.
I pray that all this happens immediately within a day or so.

Why? you may ask

Because I blieve it would take this type of condition to make Nigerians reach their lowest ebb and hopeful get them to get on to the streets and protest against corruption.
GenBuhari what is your problem?

Politics › Re: Oil Discovered In Sokoto State by Geomac: 11:28am On Aug 23, 2012
Its one thing to be a geologist, its another thing to explain the presence of oil in Sokoto!!

Use stratigraphic maps to explain your point...

https://www.earthzine.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Figure-24.jpg

I just provided you one so fire on... Mind you, I'm also a Gelogical Engineer.. cool

Well with the presence of Sandstones, Clay & Shale in Sokoto, Mesozoic- Recent volcanic and sedimentary rocks, which is about the same stratigraphy of rocks in the Niger Delta region.. The Sokoto Basin has always been suspected geologically to be hydrocarbon bearing..
Thanks for the map.
The sedimentary thickness of Sokoto Basin is shallow compare to Niger Delta where exploitation is going on. It is not economically viable to start exploitation processes in Sokoto Basin just like Bida/Mid-Niger/Nupe Basin.

Okija_juju can i PM you? I am a Geophysicist
Politics › Re: Oil Discovered In Sokoto State by Geomac: 8:40am On Aug 23, 2012
naptu2: It is one thing to discover oil (there's oil in Borno State/Lake Chad Basin), but the question is, is it in commercial quantities?
You are right, i don't think it is prolific for commercial exploitation

Politics › Re: ACN & CPC Merger - We'll Finish PDP In 2015 by Geomac: 3:41pm On Aug 14, 2012
BeraBera: ACN & CPC leaders are obviously Muslims while PDP is mainly christian-based, as we can all see. If they succeed in merging, then they would be working towards taking over power at the federal level in order to finally Islamise Nigeria. By then, Christians would no longer be free to practice their religion.
Let us look before we leap, we have to choose leaders that would allow us to feel free with any religion of our choice, and not ACN & CPC that would force Nigerians to be muslims.

Politics › Re: Oyo State Governor, Ajimobi, 15 Aides, On Olympics Jamboree In London by Geomac: 6:03pm On Jul 30, 2012
saxywale: Link please. I find it hard to believe a Nigerian governor travelled with only 3aids. What about his PA, press Secretary, body guards, senior special assistants, special advisers, commisioners e.t.c. The story by Sahara seems logical. Sahara does not care if you are Pdp or ACN. They would expose anyone who is not doing well irrespective of his political party. I wonder why he chose the Olympics period to search for investment opportunities though.
I saw this on his fb wall: http://www.facebook.com/?ref=tn_tnmn#!/aaajimobi

I stopped at 8 - 9 years. I visited my uncle and i was asked to share a bed with his son. I didn't want to sleep not until the guy slept and within ten minutes i discovered that the bed was wet, in fact i did not waste time to join him. The following day, the two of us were asked to be dancing with our wet clothes while other kids were singing.
