Another fake story. Whoever try it with any military man will not live to tell the story.

jidegirl12: Yes OP unexpected and unplanned pregnancies confounds everybody in the family even tho it's a joyous thing... some people feign blithely ,some don't...just like the husband in the story.

IMO it has to be planned.... you need a game plan especially when other kids are involved .... staying home for mat leave costs a whole lot , childcare and the list goes on ... but when it happens, well undecided what's done is done.

FamilyRe: Divorced Single Mum But Getting Married Again. (please Advise) by Geomac: 6:06pm On Dec 11, 2012
babyosisi: This story is fake
I said so because there is no normal Igbo man on this earth that will open his mouth and tell a woman that he wants to adopt another man's baby
Never!
Most Igbo men wouldn't even want to marry a woman with a child let alone desire to adopt the child,a boy for that matter.
It is not done.

Let me give you the benefit of the doubt ,your story is true

But then

The poster got married 2 years ago and a year later is divorced, according to her waited a while to see if she can patch it up with her ex it didn't work and less than a year after is already about to land into a second marriage.A young 25 year old with a one year old .
Most divorced women at this time would be devoting their energy into that little infant not looking to jump into a second marriage in a flash.
That is so unwise of you
How much do you know this man in a few months to be talking about dowry and adoptions
Is this the same way you jumped into the first marriage and married a stranger?
You are about to do the same thing here

I don't believe the story one bit,I repeat
I quite agree with you, no Igbo man would want to adopt another man SON not even a daughter. I am not an Igbo man but i have them as friends.
The story is fake.

Ujujoan: Not everybody is confrontational by nature. I know because I can relate with this poster's person. I usually give people a loooooooooooong rope but the day I sanp, woe betide you!
If my MIL behaves remotely the way this lady's MIL does, I'll simply ignore her and lay ALL my complints with my hubby. But if he refuses to take action, I will. And God help them both!
If i were your husband, you will always regret the day you took such action.

Tiana155: Hello there, my mother-lnlaw came to our house three months ago, the initial plan was for her to stay some few weeks and return back, but she refused to go back saying they want to kill her in d village among other stories, my hubby said she should stay for awhile. Her son(my hubby) seems to be very important to her than our child, she always talks about how i dont feed him well, i dont cook well, how i dont manage money, etc. Just this evening i got back from work to find out that she washed his cloths, prepared his meal, my hubby sat down enjoying the meal and they were talking, i greeted my hubby and then my mil she gave me a look that made me explode, i threw the food my hubby was eating and shouted at her and told her she would leave my house, but my hubby said she would not leave. He obviously enjoyed all the care from his mama. Right now i am very angry i dont know what to do. Please advice me on what to do. I know i made a mistake throwing the food away and shouting at her. I am not a bad wife i try to take care of my family and i also have a stressful job. Thank u.
No woman on earth will try this with my mother not even my wife or my brothers' wives.

greatgod2012: D 1st born seems to have few pple to relate with because of d position occupied, while d 2nd born have many pple to relate with, especially d elder sibling, but not in all cases o.

1st borns, in most cases are used as experiment in d way they are being brought up and as a result of lack of parental experience d parents are involved in, whereas, by d time d 2nd born comes, enough experience would have been acquired, hence, better way of bringing them up.

Just widen ur options and while at it try to get familiar with some software packages like ArcGis and Arcview, Ilwis too can come in handy for some raster applications. Goodluck.

frankkky: it is very obvious your sister hates you.your wife and your kids are just victims of this hatred.ask your mother more and find the answers from her, this is the reason some people dont allow family memebrs living with them.
Having said that dont allow her make your love for your wife wane ,even if your wife had done anything to her,she should have called you personally as a brother and i am sure you would have done the right thing, for me i dont support bad wives neither bad sisters or maybe it is a woman thing between ur wife and ur sister, you know some women can hate each other just on sight but when she included you in the insults then it means something else, take it from me bro your sister hates you or she doesnt just like seeing you being happy with your wife,if that is the case, guy forget her and contiune loving your woman jare
It seems that you are richard10.

PoliticsRe: Ekiti State Governor Presents Its 2013 Budget by Geomac: 5:50pm On Dec 06, 2012
Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on Thursday presented a budget proposal of N 93,616,830. 001 Billion for year 2013 to the State House of Assembly.

The budget which is christened “the Budget of Empowerment and Consolidation” has a proposed recurrent expenditure of N46,416,141,231 representing 49.6 per cent of the total budget estimate, while capital expenditure is N47,200,688,770, representing 50.4 per cent .

Presenting the Appropriation bill, the Governor said Infrastructure will gulp 21.2% of the total budget, Education 17.2 per cent and Health sector. 10.7 per cent. Agriculture sector is to get 3. Per cent, industry 3.3 per cent; tourism gets 1.7 per cent, while women empowerment, gender and sports will get 2.3 per cent.

In a further analysis, Fayemi stated that N9.9 Billion will be expended on road projects even as he said that three Divisional Headquarters in the state: Ikere, Ikole and Ijero will have their township roads reconstructed as well as get street lights, as part of the government’s urban renewal plan.

The budget will also focus on water projects with N2.4bilion budgeted for the rehabilitation of all major dams, while N2.163 is budgeted for the rehabilitation of all the General Hospitals and special Comprehensive Health Centres and furnishing of same.

The budget is to be sourced from Federal Allocation, Value Added Tax, Internally Generated Revenue, External Grants, MDG conditional Grants, Bond, Special Grants and Ecological Fund among others.

While stating that the budget is targeted at putting poverty to flight at the grassroots and empower rural dwellers, Fayemi disclosed that a new Ministry would soon be put in place to address issues cutting across poverty reduction and rural development.

He commended the State Assembly for passing a bill on the establishment of Peace Corps in the State as part of measure to maintain the relative peace which the State enjoys as well as assure investors of the safety of their lives and property.

The Governor however urged the Assembly to give the Appropriation Bill a speedy passage so that the masses can get more dividends of democracy as early as possible.
