MSGAMBLE9:
They are populating the Board with their "Yes Men" from their previous Life whether they had any experience in the game doesn't matter to them e.g. Law, entertainment and business people

This is how United start losing it
You know your perspective is different from theirs, right?. You might see it as bringing in yes men, but they see it as bringing in people who have shown over time that they're are all about their growth and development. Would you rather have someone who have been with you for years and you trust to do a lot for you or someone new who is also qualified for the same job?. Josh said something about bringing in people who want to help deliver trophies to the club, IMPROVE FINANCIAL STATUS and give fans something to be happy about. If the family is experienced in the field and wants what's best for the family which includes overall improvement in terms of trophies and profit, then they should go ahead. My own na for them to be as supportive as they have shown and be proactive in decision making.

Yesterday I was happy for Martinelli not just because of his goal but his general play when he came on. For the first time in many games abi ages he dribbled pass his marker, that assist sweet me pass d goal cus I have seen him score that kind of goal many times but to dribble and still find space to pass the ball to a free player was so fuccking good. Calafiori loved the goal that he kept pointing at Martinelli's name to the fans.
Completed his dribble attempts 100%
Completed his passes
Won his duels.
I hope his confidence comes back on but abeg make he no start against City on Sunday shaa. He and Trossard should be our cheat code for tiring defenders.

Gabriel have been so good and consistent that we see it as a normal and he rarely gets praises. Man is the heart of our defence, other players are so comfortable and confident playing with him at the back. And please Calafiori should try and stay fit, I can't imagine not seeing him play any important match this season.

He had the option to leave but decided to stay and now about to sign 5 years contract. Logically, if what you said above is the plan, he would have stall new contract talk or even sign like a year or 2 years extension.
i am not saying the plan is to leave. What i am saying is, in as much as he loves Arsenal and wants to stay, we can't be sure of him staying next season if we go trophyless. He's already in his prime and certainly wants trophies. So going another trophyless season might change his mind, especially with Madrid and other big clubs watching him. Regardless, him signing a five year contract will make the club get enough for his value.

Yes na
So isobt was expect him to play merino in the midfield against big teams when he have excess artackerson bench
He will be cautious of his actions going forward
free flow football is our identity right from wenger days, focusing more on defence is all new to most of us. He tries to balance the defence and attack but all the time prioritise defence. Playing with AM would have changed the whole game for us, especially in the first half. He wanted to defend an early goal with that Sunday setting, and bad enough an early goal didn't come and he wasted too much time to change tactics when he saw how Liverpool changed theirs. If his ideas keep failing, then he deserves to leave. The team is already more than good enough to win the league and any other good coach can continue.

Let this man feel some heat too, at least have some sense of responsibility
i read about this too. As least he now knows that a decision can and will be made against him if he fails to deliver. One thing I know is that the players themselves are evenly hungry to win an important trophy. The winning mentality is there already, they just have to be consistent and give their all through 35 matches.

Today is the last day, martinelli must go sha
Arteta knows Martinelli isn't as productive as he used to be, but he keeps trusting him. I knew he was definitely going to start yesterday, but he suppose dey chop bench back to back from next match. Until Saka returns, I know Madueke will be our main 7 so it's left for Arteta to choose Eze and Trosard ahead of Martinelli. BTW what do you think of Madueke yesterday?.

Man city have only won once abi twice against Liverpool at anfield but have gone ahead to win epl trophies over them time and time again. But somehow someone wants us to follow his line of thought alone regarding winning epl and sacking arteta after loosing by a lone goal to them in match day 3. Ndewo

baba, I won't say i don't get your point, you have been open about Arteta and your thoughts about him for long now. It pains to lose but no matter how much we complain about this match, it will not be a benchmark to sack him. His decision didn't work, same as Liverpool in the first half and majority of the game till and after that magic by szoboszlia.

Bro... There's one prayer I always say. That I would never be at the mercy of human being like me. A single mistake against Villa made us lose the title to City. We're now praying for Spurs to do magic. Like our fate now lies in the hand of the other teams. Remember?

That's why this loss is unacceptable. If Arteta got sacked because of today's match, e worth am.
everyone can't have the same opinion, and everyone can't see things from the same perspective. When I saw the line up, I knew it was going to be a hard time scoring, but none the less we were not that bad. Coach made a mistake, oya wetin make they ones that got a chance to waste it, coach too?.

That's because we have seen something like this before
We have the tools to break down any team yet we are still playing haram football, what are we doing with 7 defenders (4 defenders and 3 DMs) in a match
How can anyone who knows our history with arteta have confidence in him
first half we played better but didn't finish off well. Second half he wasted time to bring in a change in the gameplan and a single moment of brilliance just like that of Rice against Madrid made the difference. We will be back(even if i am the only one that believes that). No single team is going to play unbeaten, none!!. It's left to see which team beats us and how we lost.

Arteta already blaming and throwing Eberechi Eze under the bus.

Nothing new here! We have seen this over and over again.

Arteta: “You have to put the ball in the back of the net. We were much better than last year when we drew the game. Today we have 3, 4, 5 situations inside the box 1v1. Eze is completely through just to finish the action. You have to put the ball in the net if you want to win.”
nothing like throwing anyone under the bus, that was a light touch on Eze. And the ball that Timber held on to for long after cancelling out Liverpool players before passing was also an opportunity to score. We can blame the coach, but not seeing the difference players could have made is another thing.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 8:11pm On Aug 31, 2025
The loss is frustrating, but we're acting like we just lost a title decider. We were not as bad as people are making it look(though i still believe Arteta fuccked up). We lost against a great team(league holders) that we haven't won at their back yard since 2012 but somehow it's the decider for arsenal to sack their coach.
Bad result indeed but make I wait till we loose to a smaller team to see more lamentations. Or are we going unbeaten after today. grin

Omor!!... no excuses, Arteta got it wrong today. From the xl to tactics. Instead of playing a free flow football with creative players we came to fight. Man saw the change in game plan when mac Allister was subbed but still held on to Merino and physicality that is not working. Arteta just dey make hard for himself and every fan.
I know sacking him no dey for discussion table for now, but I hope we bounce back shaa. Season still dey fresh
