Pep spent way more than what Arteta have spent in his first 4 years with man city even though city already had the best players and he won 2 epl. That same pep and his expensive team is the reason Arteta and his team are yet to win the epl, because unlike city, arteta's squad lacked the experience and exposure last season and are much more experienced and challenging again for the epl this season with that same team that have been on steady upgrade from day one. |

Roland17: When last did Arsenal have the investment Arteta has enjoyed? The last time I checked we finished 5th before Ebening left, with a sorry team led by proven clowns at the back.. so what are we talking about here?
The attached is from transfer market. I am going to test your knowledge now with how it adds up to 700M. Remember, this doesn’t include the obligation to pay Brentford 27M for Raya, add ons and fees associated with each transfer.. Have a go at it.. You got it wrong there, it does include it and also includes the loan fees we paid for certain players and out outright purchase.

First time in arsenal history that we're having 27 wins in a single season but some people choose to see only the mistakes Arteta have made. SMH |

Roland17: At least you are more honest than others in saying we have spent more time building a coach than the team.
If spending doesn’t or shouldn’t translate into winning then why do we push back on the idea of Pep coaching smaller teams? Why is Ten Hag questioned? Why do we change the rules immediately it has anything to do with Arteta? Are you sure that's what he really meant by the statement he posted up there, or how you choose to understand it? |

Roland17: Finishing 3rd isn’t any achievement but finishing 2nd in consecutive seasons when you were in control is? Do you see the double standard I keep talking about? I am not a Ten Hag apologist, heck I don’t fancy him but I am happy you guys are rattled by the comparison.
Where did Arteta finish in his first 2 seasons with Arsenal? Were we not messing with relegation? Didn’t he finish 8th? Arteta built the structure? LMAO… You guys never cease to amaze me honestly, you don’t. You say things and when you are found, you go scrambling.
Let me even allow you slide with that structure thing. But isn’t that confirming/ buttressing my position about being in a better structure than Ten Hag who is in his 2nd season?
Show me where Arteta hasn’t spent 700M fess. Nwanne you're the one with double standards here, man UTD were already finishing 2nd and 3rd before eth, when last did arsenal finished 2nd?. The fact that before he came we were a 5th and 6th team and his first season we finished 8th and have been in upward projection since then means that he created and built the current structure, simple. Na me first ask you to show me the receipt of the 700m you're talking about, I'm not the one that stated an over ambiguous amount. |

Roland17: If anything, this should bother you. He has won the EFL, has his team in the FA cup finals and even finished 3rd in hos 2nd season.
Arteta has had more time, more money, a very stable football structure in comparison with more control and what do we have to show for it? So when it come to man UTD, finishing 3rd is an achievement right?, Winning the EFL is so huge like Arteta didn't win FA cup in his first season. And please show me this net spending of 700m you keep talking about. Saying Arteta have more time and stable structure like he wasn't the one that built that structure, did eth build the structure of man UTD?, Wasn't UTD already reaching fa cup finals before he came, where was arsenal when Arteta took over?. |

Can someone show us the net spending of Arteta that is 700m please!!!!, Because I don't understand where this $700 is coming from. Even clubs that spent more than us are still way down the level Arteta have placed Arsenal. For one I don't blame pep for any of our fumbles but it is what it is, Europa exist last year was more heart breaking than our UCL exist this year. Arsenal lost 5 games so far and city 3 but with much draws than us, so is that really a bad news, like baddd result?. Truely we shouldn't have lost some of the games we lost but loosing is part of the game and we can only grow. The hate you guys gives Arteta is way too obvious and cloud the success he have achieved. Give us names of Coaches that wi do better than what he is doing simple!!!. |

mostob: Let's see the Arsenal team that would show up tomorrow. If Arsenal should draw or lose tomorrow, I would question their mentality. So from next season, the goal na at least 94 points to get.
Anyways sha, this season never end.... Yet!!! I knew the goal difference something wasn't a strong hold. When we lost to villa the only way possible way I thought and still think we can win is only if city looses to spurs(I don't even know why I heavy on spurs winning city dispite their recent woes). But that's the only way, that is if we win our remaining games too. |

I love Rashford from the first time I saw him play which was against Arsenal. Top top talent, he just needs to be consistent and I believe the Arsenal family, mentality and togetherness can help him achieve more if he makes the switch. Na just to follow 4 preseason and he will be hot and banging when the season begins. |

Anyways, I was rooting for Tottenham to win/draw Man City but I just realized that they're playing Man City on the last day of the season. I just weak cos no hope.
From history when we're in this position (ie fighting for league and hoping for them to do us a favour), they gladly always fall our hands. Expectedly.
I thought when they'll be playing Man City, they'll be fighting for top 4, but I realized that on that day, they might certainly not be fighting for anything Man city's last match na westham not shitty spurs. Shitty spurs last night na Sheffield. |

Spy360: You can not call a striker playing upfront false. That's where he is expected to be.
Kane is a striker saying he is a false 9 is stupid. Don't do that. It's stupid.
When a fullback is in midfield we say he is inverted. If he is a midfielder we don't say he is inverted.
When a goalkeeper uses his feet, we can him sweeper keeper. When a defender does that we don't call him sweeper keeper because he is just a sweeper.
When a striker is a 9, you don't call him false. Wow! That's stupid. We call him striker. If it's a midfielder we see there then we say he is a false 9.
That's the idea. Every other thing you said about creating chances for others is correct. I agree with you on this, some might say we're wrong but this is a fact(or whatever) I know about football. Because a recognized striker drops deep to help the team doesn't make him a false nine(they should probably find another word to replace that "false). Kane that I know of only started dropping and helping his teammates during the later days of his Tottenham days. Henry at some point started dropping to help his teammates too, we shouldn't call them false nine. RVP was amazing in that aspect too but he wasn't a FALSE nine, he was a complete nine with a desire to help everyone. Anyways what do I know, I'm just a fan who loves watching and playing football. |

daveP: He's our best presser. No doubt. Plus as Captain, his detailing others who to close down is superb. But it doesn't work for us this UCL Ko stages sha. If you observed. Porto and Bayern, two teams set up to stop our press. Very annoying.
Ashey Odegaard has been giving that kine assists from deep to Martinelli sha. Wow. I keep saying the best of Nelli is when he's released from halfway line. Then nobody can stop him or tackle him and it is 9/10 times to be a goal.
Partey Jorginho Odegaard
These 3 have given deep assists to Nelli and he buried them. While same can't be really said for Saka(he kinda loves the dribbling and deceiving players until the doubling up and tiredness took over)
It's a risk I'm willing to take sha. Odegaard to Nelli's wing. Let's see how crazy that will be😀 Abeg lets not go there Biko. It won't only affect the entire team, it will affect us as fans too. That's a no no. |

Jodera: It's tiring to be honest. This is the first time in 4yrs I've been wailing over Saka CONSISTENTLY.
He needs to rest and properly heal. Man is too good to be playing like this.
Arteta needs to help him abeg It's clear to everyone how dropped in form Saka is right now, but I think it will be too experimental dropping him on the bench during this run-in. His form dropped and noticable but he still have that ability to produce a magical moment. Even he himself acknowledge the fact that his level dropped, and Arteta have mentioned it too, they know but just scared of what will happen if he doesn't play. Arteta just don't trust Nelson enough and he needs to leave this summer. |
