But hey folks, get ready, we are entering the female era of TuFace who popularised baby-mama amongst Nigerian male celebrities. Expect to see a growing number of female celebrities have children without known fathers and/or husbands.

IT guys across the west dey ball big time.ask anyone close to you that lives abroad. I met a guy at phone repair arena sometime last year. The guy brought a top notch Samsung phone for minor troubleshooting.(Just unlocking and restore)
He signed in and gave the guys in the repair dept the phone after telling them what the problem was.just to use an OEM software to unlock the phone then do factory restore. The only solution the so called IT guys adopted was to flash the phone erasing all the vital files and information in the phone without telling the owner. Meanwhile,The guy told me that he mistakenly locked the phone and it could not boot.He was in dubai then so he went to a repair outlet. He signed in at the outlet. he guys simply plugged the phone to a device and in less than a minute the phone was unlocked and all factory settings restored without loosing a single file. All personal and phone files were intact. He took his phone, signed out and left.It was the same thing that happened while in naiJa unfortunately our NaiJa backyard IT guys flash craze comot for d phone head grin grin

The noise about tech got into my head and I quit my 8-5 job. Though the 8-5 job was becoming stressful and toxic, I couldn't cope and had to leave.

I had saved some funds and learned data analytics. Now here is where the issue lies.I've applied to more than a thousand jobs and I keep getting rejections. My hope was to get a remote job but I'm not seeing it coming.

Is tech all about noise or it's just saturated? While learning , we were told a data analyst earns 30k USD annually. I'm just getting tired and frustrated
Number one mistake you made is resigning. The best time to look for a job is when you are employed. The chances of getting a new one are higher as an employed person than unemployed.

- The tech industry has witnessed massive layoffs within the last two years and still witnesses retrenchment upon sackings. So, you are competing for limited positions with much more experienced folks who companies are willing to pay less for their wealth of experience than a tyro they have to train.

- As a newbie who wants to change industries and career paths, you don't start with remote roles. Rather, you begin with on-site roles which offer you access to seniors who will guide you through the journey. Also, nothing beats face-to-face interactions, especially during your nascent years.

- Thousands of job applications? How is your CV like? Are they specific to the position advertised abi na anywhere belly face? Which platforms do you utilise the most?

Lastly, data science abi data analyst roles are so cheap and the actual data science jobs require a PhD or MSc with intersnhips. So, it is funny people enrol in three month courses and expect to land plum data science or AI roles. Whereas these fields require folks with advanced degrees in quant heavy fields such as mathematics and physics. Are you sure entry level data analyst remote workers in Nigeria earn $30K per annum? shocked grin

To most modern day women, "real men" are men who have money. Judging by the calibre of men who my flirtatious female classmates married, I believe her statement that "real men" don't care about a woman's body count when it comes to marriage. Ned Nwoko, TuFace and a host of many Nigerian men are in that category.

The US economy will enter into a downturn by the third or fourth quarter of this year, no thanks to Trump.

The mass deportation exercise is adversely affecting the agriculture and construction industries. Workers aren't showing up for work. Crops are not being harvested and a lot of construction work has stopped. Inflation is rising and the Fed will soon will interest rates.
Anyhow American elites want to run the US is entirely up to them. Africa's so-called intellectual class should focus on how to improve the continent's economy. As it is, the US and South Africa are in a confrontation of sorts. Our business as Nigerians is to see what we can sell to the US. If the US gets to place sanctions on South Africa, that is their business.

We should learn to focus on matters that directly concern us. If the US gets into a recession as a result of Trump's policies - deporting 5BN people, deporting people of colour, accepting only White immigrants, stop funding foreign agencies etc - that is the US' business. End. Of. Discussion.

Girls/ladies should stop walking about, they should leave men alone, except you are courting someone.

We in nairaland.com should educate our female relatives and neighbours, let's inform them on what is happening in Nigeria now.
They are doing organ harvesting, forest between River State and Owerri, River State and Abia state is full of dead bodies, they sell people's body parts to doctors.
Organ harvesting is the yahoo yahoo in Nigeria, be careful, trust no one, everybody is a suspect
.

Let's educate people around us, kidnapping and killing is going on everyday in Nigeria.

Why has Tinubu not sentenced this people to death by hanging, is suspicious, how can a president not do anything to people that are caught with human parts?
We need to impeachment Tinubu for this offence, they should let Nigerians know if they are the ones sending them, if they are not, why are they still alive?
Why has he refused to sign there death warrant.

If Tinubu is not ready to kill this people by firing squad, he should resign.
Why are we quiet over this issue?
Why?
Nobody knows the next victim,
People are kidnapped in River State forest, if parents don't meet up, the victim is killed and there body parts sold.

Nigerians wake up from sleep, there is fire on the mountain, nobody knows who will be there next victim
It's the Etche axis in Rivers state, which is one of the most dangerous places to live in. The elites there and wider Rivers state are in cahoots. They know everything going on there.

Nigerian elites from all walks of life know these happenings and support them.

Kelechi009:
Yes, the southern Nigerian women are a combination of women wanting western ideologies specifically to America with a poverty of a 3rd world country. The thing is when you find men with enough finance in Nigeria, women will not let them rest. They will be following you like pack of wolves, so If you are the type of man who has never seen such pack of wolves coming after you before, you will eventually get one lady pregnant. Be overwhelmed by the surge of women coming to you. I know this because I have been there before, once you transition from a guy who doesn't drive to Church in Nigeria to a guy who now drives a Range Rover, the number of women approaching you for silly reasons will astonish you!

See, this may sound strange but that rumour is actually true. If I also tell you why that the pregnancy proves the theory I've had about Nigerian women for a long time.

The theory is simple: there's always a price to pay. Many women come online and deny this reality, acting as if they’ll never have to make that choice. But behind closed doors, they are paying the price. You either choose an older man and enjoy wealth as a concubine / 2nd or 3rd Wife, or you marry a younger man who is still building his life, meaning luxury won’t come immediately.

Take people like Sharon Ooja, for example. Many claim to be with "high-value men," but when you dig deeper and investigate, their partners are often older men in their 40s or 50s. Divorced multiple times. That is why most of them never show their partners.

Nobody can deceive me. Where are these so-called high-value men in their 20s and 30s? What exactly do they do for a living?!

The so-called high value men are older men close to their graves.
With the newest tittle-tattle that Chika Ike had a child for the numero-uno Ned Nwoko, your theory is validated. I will have to believe that Nengi got pregnant for Diri.

So after all the yanga, na Ned Chika born pikin for? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Alpha males on TwitterNG will have a field day!!!! Money is extremely important! Any lady who denies it is a bare-faced liar!

It has to be. I've had a thought about it. You will have well learned and exposed people turn into something else the moment they hold political power. It surprises, honestly. Because if this is how they - supposedly well educated and exposed ones - behave, then the likes of Uzodinma and Co should be forgiven. Yeah, it might be to bridge the gap but again we cannot rule out the fact that it's because it's cheap. A friend linked me to a Nigerian woman living in the US who wanted me to help maintain her site and she was offering $10.
I declined and later got to know that the person maintaining it for her was charging $100 per month hence the reason she was looking for a cheaper option in Nigeria.
It's exchange rate advantage, else they would've patronised UK based tutors. Other than those who teach ethnic languages, what prevents them from patronising those within?

Those saying because it's cheaper don't realise that the driver for doing this is the high quality of education in Nigeria. I understand you might not have lived outside Nigeria, so I have no problem with your views.

Most schools abroad encourage mediocrity and non ambitious learning. Many Nigerians see this gap and decide that their own child will not join the bandwagon of mediocrity and so get a teacher from Nigeria who will help push the child better with a Nigerian driven curriculum.

Why do you think Nigerians top classes in UK schools for example?
At the bold, That's because the schools their children aren't the best in the UK. Garbage in, garbage out.

At your last statement, those Nigerians are a minute percentage of the entire school age group of Nigerians in the UK. Also, most attended predominantly black schools and the school famous for churning those results is an elite prep school in London.

Thanks for your reply. Reading through, I can see the clear difference between there and here. Until when/if I am ready, I will know what to do. Talking about the fraud money, our politicians laid the foundation for the malaise. Now, there are just different and many avenues to generate money via fraudulent means unlike the heyday of politics and maybe illicit drugs.

The major solution to most of Nigeria's problems is sustained and high-powered economic growth.

Nothing else.
