I sense some hypocrisy coming from her, You can't be a practicing muslimah married to a Muslim man and act betrayed when he takes another wife knowing very well that Islam consents to men marrying more than one wife.

If perhaps she doesn't like the other woman's personality, then she should've helped her husband in searching for another woman whose personality resonates with hers to be her sister wife.

Sorry for not being compassionate in my earlier writeup, not that I didnt want to be but didnt want the submission to be too long. From ur writeup, u look like someone who really got his financial life together. What is even more annoying is that you should have really turned out even much better -- and much earlier.

And its more painful cos d signs were there but u just deh postpone doomsday. Im sure u thought u struck goldmine when dis ur erstwhile wife is working-class or comes from a well-to-do background. Maybe u followed some of the online advice of guys that dating a working-class woman will be more beneficial in d long run. I know say u don realise its more than that. Woman na woman, working class or not. They are naturally extremely selfish.
Go go bro!
Unrelated to your post, but the bold reminds me of the hypothesis regarding the japa frenzy: children from middle-class/upper middle-class keyed into japa because children from lower-middle class/low-earning class bemoaned the situation in Nigeria. Only for those children from middle class families to venture abroad and realise their standard of living was much better in Nigeria. Hence, many seek to return.

If only they knew the economic conditions of those who castigated Nigeria online. grin grin grin

During the Akufo regime when they change voter's card, those Fulani in the Northern Ghana tried to use Hausa's to register too, but those Ghana Northerners refused and exposed the Fulanis at the registering center and they were arrested immediately and this issue scared others from coming out to register, because during the registration you must explain the part of Ghana you came from and they will listen to your accent and other questions you have to answer which is impossible unless you are true Ghanaian. Those Northern Ghanaian are very wise and different unlike their Nigeria counter part who are being used by everybody country we share border with up North.
It was well noted in this article: https://www.economist.com/middle-east-and-africa/2025/10/16/why-ghana-is-safe-from-jihadists-for-now

It helps that Ghana is largely homogeneous and doesn't have religious bigotry.

I have another theory

The cold in Canada preserves the body organs compared to the heat in Nigeria.
Imagine leaving raw meat in Nigeria weather and same meat in Canada which will last longer?

The cold will preserve the meat in Canada is my theory and that’s why they have a higher life expectancy
Life expectancy rates in tropical Barbados, Singapore and Malaysia are very high. Temperate weather conditions have nothing to do with life expectancy rates. See Russia and its low LE rates.

Our low expectancy rate is due to poverty, nothing else. Nigeria has to become rich for people to live longer. No wonder some say poverty is worse than death itself.

🤣😂😀

na better songs of lamentations

that soundtrack about the hegemony being mean and not playing fair has gotten stale
we all know the hegemony is horrible
for the love of all things sacred, they just livestreamed a two-year genocide

did they not have any plans besides attending brics+ meetings and yelling de dollarization and multipolarity?

how can lavrov be complaining with a straight face that they agreed to the us proposal in anchorage and the us ignored the agreement and continued to be hostile?
is he for real?
did he not watch the us/isreal murder persian negotiators during negotiations
how many f*cking times must the hegemony prove they're not agreement-capable before they wake up
At least here, the Chinese have displayed some grit and defiance when the US went against some agreements. It is why I say I don't know the kind of "juju" or hypnosis the US-led West has put on the faces of Russians and to an extent the Chinese during these negotiations. The history is there - these people don't respect agreements, but only force and equal retaliation. So, why play gentleman with them?

on china, the hegemony does not need to stop everything
they are being surgical

they'll start with oil
then certain critical minerals

the truly annoying part is that we all can see what they're doing and their plans
it's not exactly secret
but lots of things you expect china/russia to do to counter them is simply not forthcoming

hope and rhetoric are not strategies
Just as Iran to Russia, Russia to the Chinese. So it is left for the Chinese to get their acts ready. If the US can bully India, a long-time friend of Russia, not to buy its oil, the US can do the same to Malaysia and Singapore to scuttle or stifle Chinese investments. The snag here would be how ethnic Chinese citizens of both countries react to being told by the White man not to trade with their big brother.

But no Ukraine dey fight Russia so? huh

I caught my brother and cousin hiking prices on several occasions. The matter was solved when I discovered I could go in youtube to find vendors with established prices.

I stopped buying materials locally and went to other vendors outside town. The transportation costs were nothing compared to the under-hand stealing going on with all the collusion.

Big shout out to:

Edo CBC market blog.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

If I wanted any product, I went online and compared prices. THEN I SENT MY BROTHER AND COUSIN TO THE STORES I HAVE CHOSEN ONLY!✅

This made it difficult for them to collude to inflate prices. What was happening was that my so-called relatives were charging vendors 10-15% of the materials bought. Do I started sending them to vendors they did not know.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

For me, I will say recent events have been moving very fast; faster than one can analyse. Today, this one and before tomorrow, that one.

@gerr.ard59, what are you thoughts about takaichi's blowout victory?
i consider it to be an activation of sorts for the kinetic phase of triggering a pacific war
Well, the LDP was expected to win or kpata kpata merge with the runner-up. Other than 2009/2010, the LDP has been at the helms of affairs since the beginning of this century.

As for the war, well well well, I expect one especially after the US election. There will be a massive confrontation aimed at ensuring Russia loses and China gets confronted head-on. The seriousness and alacrity the US has displayed in ratcheting up rare earth supplies/refining says a lot. They are preparing for the inevitable. It has taken 4 years so far in the Russian-Ukraine crises.

whether china is ready or not
the stage is being set
Hopefully, it is ready because the US I see today is gearing up and blocking moves and creating gridlocks here and there.

@panso.phist

yet for the life of me, i keep searching for their contingency plan to handle this

Sounds like Songs of Lamentations to me. But yes, it shows how far the US is going to strangle Russia. So India does not buy cheap crude from its friend due to bullying from the US. Na so the US go threaten other nations from engaging in business with China. How that would be implemented remains to be seen, because China's influence around the world goes far beyond oil sales. Also, Chinese citizens are everywhere to circumvent any rule/policy that could affect China.

Why don't you all get a visa and migrate to Russia, North Korea, or China? But no, it has to be America or other Western countries, the same places you and other Nigerians, who say you want China (a country with human right abuses and no freedom of speech) to replace America as the world power would prefer to migrate to and live in.
Have you seen residents in Russia ,China and North criticize their government publicly and live to tell the story.
If, by now, with all the recent geopolitical events happening worldwide, you haven't questioned some of the moves/decisions made by the US-led West, then it is unfortunate. I say this as someone who supported the removal of Muammar Gaddafi, and his removal has changed the Sahel forever.

I think I stated it: but it is not everyone who wishes to live outside his/her dominant land. Some people just prefer theirs come rain, come shine. The talk about human right abuses and no freedom of speech is largely hilarious, judging from recent geopolitical events.

So short stay has minimum?
As long as it is till day break aka overnight, it can be categorised as short time/stay.

If a man checks in with a babe and handle business as in an hour he has to wait at least two more hours before he can check out? Really? Are you staying management is supposed to stop the babe from leaving until they check to see if the man is ok?
The area is Asokoro. A lodging facility there cannot have a short time duration max at one hour. It is way too short. It is why I used three hours as the maximum. Yes, the management is supposed to stop the babe from leaving without verifying the man's consciousness.

Really? Imagine ...the man booked short time ... handled business with the woman in an hour and sends her away... he exhausted was taking the remaining time to catch some sleep so he would be refreshed before attending the conference....then here you come knocking at the door...waking him ... To find out if he's ok? ...so the babr can leave? ...only to find out it was his wife and not an olosho you detained? Then what?
Thing is: provided it is short time, one guest cannot leave without the other being checked to ascertain consciousness. Whether wife or not. And to be honest, the majority of men who pay for short time don't carry their wives along.

Something is not right with this picture. Seems like a plan .... maybe th car wasn't his but had a market for it ...the babe was a side chick and he gave her time to get away and deliver the car before reporting it stolen..
A short stay can last for many hours, depending on the arrangement between the escort and the client, and the client and the hotel facility. In an area such as Asokoro, the minimum for a short stay should be 3 hours and maybe up to 6 or even 9 hours. Provided it is not overnight, short stay can last very long.

She can leave without him knowing when he is pooing or asleep after ejaculation or he got drugged. The blame is on the hotel management for not confirming his consciousness when she was about to depart. What if he died?

I think China is in a bigger mess than Russia because China needs the rest of the world to buy their goods to support their economy and that is very easy to disrupt by the US.
A trade sanction on China will cut them off their richest buyers (US, europe, s-korea, Australia and Japan) and they will be left with low income earning countries like Africa which won't make much impact in their economy.
It will close down factories in China, balloon unemployment and plus the sanction will make the youths restless, easy to recruit spies who will turn on the country and make the people demand regime change.
The west is devilish, they have the resouces, time and patience to drain the life out of any country they want to dismantle.
Sanctions have been on Iran, venezuela, cuba, syria for decades without lifting it.
Even syria and venezuela, despite turning them to pro-west, most of the sanctions are still there until the president signs very very unfavourable deals and turn them to vassals before they will totally lift it, by then, the country is just a banana republic.
The sanctions on Russia is not coming off any time soon, likewise on china rather they will keep adding more until these countries are near break point.
It doesn't matter how many years, 20/50 years or more, it will be there.
No be small thing o.. embarassed embarassed

wait for panda to launch a new global initiative or make a new landmark pronouncement
brics summit go soon reach make them hold hands snap picture

dude be acting like he has ADHD

yesterday the us hosted a global minerals summit
invited 55 nations
they're already launching project vault and several other national and global initiatives to create strategic mineral reserves
they're also talking about stuff like price floors to spur private investment

they're doing all these with concrete objectives and tangible progress less than a year after china used its rare earth leverage

meanwhile over at the axis
pikin wen dem born when we start this sanctions/dedollarization push go don dey college by now

the only thing china can do now
is serve as a trans shipment hub for sanctioned axis countries

essentially create companies that are chinese but supplied by iranian, north korean, cuban companies
and then the chinese companies sell it domestically to other chinese companies that'll sell the merchandise to the rest of the planet

the issue with that is the huge trans shipment costs that'll erode profit margins
the multiple middle men needing their own %
and the sanctioned axis countries will also need to use the same route to import raw materials from the rest of the planet
creating mindboggling inefficiency

imagine if you want to start a plant in nigeria
and rather than import a machine directly from germany, you have to first send it to brazil, then the brazilian company a has to sell it to another brazilian company b and then that brazilian company b sells it to you
you have to do this for everything you'd be importing from any country that isn't brazil
and then when you have to sell, you have to sell to brazilian company b, who'd sell to brazilian company a, who'd then export to the rest of the planet
even if you're selling to morocco or namibia in africa, you'd still have to use the brazil route to trans ship the goods

meanwhile, the current reality for nigeria without sanctions
is that we can import directly from germany to nigeria and sell to anyone without hassle

this is just about trade
we've not started talking about financing or the hassles of compliance
sanctioned countries will still have to go to china to access capital markets
and you'd need an entire parallel professional services sector to service this trade mechanism
to say nothing of the significant premium lenders will demand to hand out loans to any enterprise engaged in this

if those bottlenecks can be solved
i doubt they can be
economics is stubborn
then you'll see iranian exports to china increase by an order of magnitude
while on paper china's economy will also increase
creating a win-win

when i talk about the importance of creating an alternate financial system
and look at panda doing basic sh*t like currency swap, it annoys me
the global south needs a complex parallel financial architecture so that if i want to buy persian rug from iran, tobi at lagos, emeka at onitsha, yusuf at kano would not stock their shops and end up on a sanctions list
but it does not seem like panda is ready to do the grunt work

because this is not a simple change the currency and everything falls into place
you need a new BIS
you need liquidity swap lines and repo facilities
you need a naval task force because the us will resort to piracy
you need a new capital market regime
you need several dozen other stuff for the plumbing

none of this is beyond china's ability
but xi is more focused on purging dissenters and expanding china's surplus than putting in the work to create a resilient global south
the latter is much harder than the former

-Lord
I swear, I thought of something similar, but did not just align my thoughts properly or well laid out. The plan involves buying Iranian goods, shipping them to China and reselling them to the rest of the world as Chinese-owned/made goods. In return, do the opposite: get those goods from elsewhere to China, then onwards to Iran and North Korea. The companies involved will be Chinese and run by them. No use of USD or even WhatsApp.

The current or erstwhile model India used in shipping oil to Europe was buying Russian crude, refining it in India and selling to the rest of the world, especially the EU. This new model will involve buying finished Iranian/Russian goods, rather than raw materials, and reselling them to the ROW as Chinese goods.

This doesn't make any sense.
How can a country be publicly showing that they hate another country and don't want it to progress by forcing a third country not to trade with it.
Where is the so called free-trade world?
China is in for a long thing.
Syria oil cut-off, venezuela cut-off and ow they want to mess with Iran to cut-off.
They are slowly strangulating china without confronting her head-on.
It is up to china to support and defend their interest with other axis or see themselves in a defensive position few years from now fighting for their own life too.
And they won't stop at that request o. That is to tell the Iranians what is ahead.

As for China, the war has started. They should be prepared o because this is how pressure will come on many countries to sever ties with China. Panamanian courts ordered the seizure of ports from the Hong Kong that won the contract in 2021. They want to strangle and starve China of energy and food. Their incursions into Africa is for the same. I am sure they would want to change the leadership in Brazil to be pro-America.

The race to develop rare earth mines and refining processes is so that once on board, they will initiate new and punitive sanctions against China and its interests. I have been thinking about what the new retaliation power the Chinese will show once that time comes.

So, the moves have been to:
- Restrict Chinese ownership of trading routes
- Reduce China's source of crude oil
- Prevent or even blacklist Chinese ownership of mines, factories and companies.
- Prevent Chinese companies from selling their products/services in mostly developed countries. They have tried doing the same towards developing countries, but common sense has made that difficult to achieve. Cost and efficiency are major reasons Chinese products and services are preferred in developing countries.
