Do you mean that English proficiency test result is required from we Nigerians?

Apologies if asking too much
Yes. Alternatively, you can tell the school that you can submit a letterhead from a lecturer or professor stating that you received your undergraduate degree in English.

But bros, this is almost four years, and you are still on this matter. huh huh Within this period, laws have changed, and tuition fees have increased. More immigration laws will be introduced between now and 2027.
RomanceRe: Is Marriage Becoming Old-fashioned? A Brutally Honest Conversation by Gerrard59(m): 6:13pm On Dec 18, 2025
In the Western World? YES. The data shows it - fewer people are marrying and at a much later age.

However, in Nigeria, I doubt as there isn't any conclusive data. Traditionally, many Nigerians look forward to being married. Social media isn't a true representation of socio-cultural lives in Nigeria.

That surprised me too. It's a rich country, but they're very conservative. Must be a cultural shift has taken place there - with young men reportedly not knowing how to approach women and all.
Please what do you think when you mean "conversatism" by Japanese?

Those people are liberal in their own way and practice what most Nigerians will categorise as "people wey don spoil". Their girls dress in skimpy wears, both genders smoke at will, drink alcohol every now and then, clubbing till the following morning etc. School girls' uniforms are above or just slightly below the knee.

Lula of Brazil has warned that if the MERCOSUR agricultural trade agreement isn't ratified by the Europeans, he would not sign any trade deal with the Europeans. Meanwhile, European farmers, especially in France, who lamented increased food imports, are angry that cheaper food will be imported into the continent. The Brazilian just as the Argentines, Uruguayans, Peruvians, etc., are unfazed because they have China to consume their agricultural produce. Argentina exports soymeal to China, and Brazil supplies more than 50% of China's soybean consumption. Then, there are fruits and other agricultural produce from neighbouring South American countries.

South Africans are now turning towards China since the US has become bellicose.

The rise of China has been a force for the greater good of the world.

mir is no boom in price again it will be a wasted efforts

I am just giving a piece of my advice the op should do what will suit and work best for him though!
If that is not wickedness, I don't know what else it is. But then, Tinubu denied their existence in the region and famously asked, "Where are the cows?"

The increase in cocoa prices was a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon. We might not see it again because weather conditions have improved in both Ghana and Ivory Coast. Also, other countries are cultivating cocoa like mad. Brazil will surpass us very soon, as we are only slightly above Cameroon.

InMyOpinion:
Was it really a "surge" or is it because our currency is now badly weakened?
for instance, if before this admin our exports were worth $1m, that would be N47m (at Fx rate of approx 470). This year the same $1m exports would be worth about N1.5b. (at Fx of approx N1500)

I'm happy things appear to be looking up but we must look at these figures in relative terms
You are right. The Lagos Chamber of Industry and Commerce noted the bold - the figures increased largely as a result of the devalued currency, not because of an increase in volume. However, that of cocoa increased in volume as many got into the trade due to the historical price per tonne for cocoa.

We have to know:
- the size of the land you are getting
- where are/is the land situated
- your technical experience of each crop
- how much capital you have
- and how long are you willing to wait before harvest

Just so you know, if you want to make money out of any crop-based agricultural venture, you need to be involved in the processing, and if you cannot, you need to be close to major off-takers.

See what they have done to Tiktok and Huawei. He is easily dispensable!
Interesting POV.

I wonder where he would run to when such happens, certainly not Western Europe. Maybe Chile or Japan. He should hope/plan JD Vance wins so he gets another four years of influence.

The rest settle with porn and toys. Frustration from their incel lifestyles cause all these many opinions and debates one comes across online.
Agreed, including declining living standards and a harsh economic climate. But how would they have adequate sex when they have brainwashed themselves that sex is bad? You have men refusing to sexually satisfy their wives because of so-called tradition, and women arrogantly asking their husbands, "If sex is food?" Some, if not most of them just married to fulfil societal rites, but continue their sexual affairs with people outside their marriages.

They deserve whatever they get.

Just to put it here: if you want to run a thriving business in an African country, target the export market. Moving to Namibia to sell to Nambians does not make sense to me. Someone living in Yola but sells to Lagosians will make more money than the person who lives in Namibia trying to sell to Namibians. The alternative is moving to Namibia as a remote worker, or you want somewhere safe where the majority look like you to reside, but have your investments elsewhere. Don't move to Ndi Namibia or Seychelles because you want to make money o.

Two, before moving to an African country, ensure you have sufficient funds to establish yourself, as most of these countries lack adequate job opportunities, even for their own citizens, let alone other Africans.

Lastly, please behave yourself to avoid unnecessary animosity because a significant proportion of Nigerians are noise makers and troublesome in nature.

Let me tell you something ,come to the Gambia ,find a problem offer a solution. You won’t become a wealthy overnight sensation but you will be very comfortable. I have lived in the Gambia for about three years now , I am into second hand electronic gadget , I started with one car wash location, business got better and I opened three new locations on the high way. Got 12 plots of land big lands that are measured the way they use to measure one plot of land in Lagos back in the 70s (each plot was measured like that ). 5 minutes drive to an estate.. I have started building already .i intend to start a low budget ranch type of thing . Full scale animal husbandry. Goats sheep’s pigs ducks chicken probably even cows .
I sleep with two eyes closed no banditry.
I make enough to help my people back home.
I won’t have achieved nothing if I was still in Nigeria .
Nigeria made me too comfortable with mediocrity , your comfort zone is where your dream dies .
For those of you that keep looking down on other smaller African countries , you should leave Nigeria and visit your neighbor benin republic tears will gush out of your eyes when you see how well organized and clean almost everywhere is . Your country gives them electricity, but they have much more stable electricity than the full Nigeria .
The Gambia offers you security,
Ease of doing business
Low tax
Stable electricity
Stable democracy
Loyal women that are way way less materialistic.
Cheap feeding , accommodation is kinda costly
I applaud these small countries for their peaceful nature and safe environments. But they are way too small in the grand scheme of things when compared with most states in Nigeria. The Gambia, for instance, could be just a small Taraba or Plateau. However, and unfortunately, religious bigotry and incompetent elites have ruined what could have been a thriving but peaceful state.

Namibia , specks English, high quality of life, agriculture or commerce is ok, have whites and blacks, so easy to assimilate into the culture. 1000 Namibia dollars is equal to 86k in naira. 3rd safest country in Africa. Reach there, find one oyibo white girl marry and enjoy your life, visit Nigeria once in a while and run back
The oyibos in Southern Africa aren't interested in marrying Black people. Dem never finish marry Southern Black Africans who are culturally similar, na West Africans dem go marry?

The only viable agricultural industry in Namibia is cattle rearing. The country is too arid to grow cash crops, and any other agricultural venture gets intense competition from South Africa. Namibia is just a peaceful Yobe that has now discovered oil. So, if you have experience and skills in the oil and gas industry, it is going to be a good place as the Black version of Kuwait.

Thieves that no matter how much you pay them, it is that 10kobo they steal from you that is the sweetest, the fact they feel in their heads they over smarted you.
Our buses, the drivers will siphon half of the fuel to sell at below price after their tanks are filled up for the week, the other day we wanted to fix their a/Cs only to find out all their compressors had been ripped out of the engines, all of them claiming they met the buses like that. One replaced his battery with an old one, they will plan with valcanisers to rip off money. Our generators nko, last time we caught a buyer at our estate gate with 7pcs of 30liter kegs of diesel stolen from our premises, they had been doing that for ages, infact we were buying 1000-1500L of diesel per week, immediately we caught and sacked them, we started buying 1ce monthly or at worse 2ce. Trymeee:
Well said, I'm single and from most marriages I see, only 2percent of married men really enjoy that happiness, all they do Is lie to theirselves and the camera.

A woman can easily manipulate and dissuade the love of the kids from their father. This is supported by nature as an average man spend more time working than living. Reminded me a lady I met who had this bitter hatred for her dad. I asked if the man paid her fees, she said yes. I asked if he provides, she said yes.

Her excuse was mum said this mum said that. The man unbeknown is working his ass out for the so-called family not knowing the wife already poisoned the kids mind and he's only still tolerated because he's the provider. When he's weak and can't work again, they will ostracize him like the plague and epidemy they see him as.
Unfortunately, a significant proportion of women have this forgetful character where they don't remember what was done for them, but only what is being done at the moment.

To counter this as a man, have fewer children. This gives you free time to spend your money yourself and wellbeing.

So, how do you take care of yourself?
- Buy those clothes; eat those dishes and items you have always desired provided the money dey. There are many nice restaurants these days which offer delicious meals. Treat yourself at least once or twice per month.
- Embark on trips either solo or with your friends. Create geninue friendships across professions, ages and walks of life.
- Develop a new hobby or hobbies. It could be volunteering for a cause dear to your heart or anything, but the hobby that keeps you mentally fit, and physically too if possible
- Learn new things/enrol into new courses to broaden your knowledge in a particular subject. It could learning how to invest more profitably even if you studied economics or finance in school.
- Diversify your investments. The Internet has offered everyone the opportunity to learn and implement new ways to invest and build one's nest without leaving his abode.

What I've observed is that too many men stress themselves largely because they have too many children than they (mentally, emotionally and physically) can take care of. So they go the extra mile just to provide whereas their bodies aren't fit for such. Meanwhile, if they had few children, they will have more time for themselves, even if na to just dey sleep.

You see men doing what I describe as "ten man load, one man carry". Taking up projects bigger than themselves and mental capacity.

So many tales of being "used by yahoo yahoo boys for ritual purposes".

You people don't know the consequences of this diabolical practice you lots support in the name of yahoo yahoo. These are damaging effects of illicit crimes, especially when they involve so-called rituals. The other day, in the same Owerri, a so-called hotelier was found to be waylaying people for ritual purposes. The effects in the coming decade will be catastrophic. And this cuts across southern Nigeria. What this means is: both genders, especially your daughters, nieces and female cousins, are at risk because of the prevailing belief that "using" a girl will make someone rich.

Also, why is it not being explored by comfortable Nigerians? Since it's clear that most visa programs now are targeted at scooping the best talents across countries?
Any Nigerian who can afford at least $400K (Turkey's price) using his/her assets isn't opting for Turkey. Australia/New Zealand are too far from Africa with few Black people. The holy grail is the United States and, to an extent, Canada. The UK Innovation visa got a lot of applications from Nigerians.
