The last day i have visited any of the bank's branches was when a stupid fellow at  the counter told me she could not find my mandate on her system, i then asked her how that would be my own problem, she just fashied me and called the next person on the queue. I was mad and paranoid, i created a scene and made sure i got the attension of the branch manager who came out with a big tommy and calm me down. I vex that day so tey, i dash them my hard earned money (balance). I have been using GTB since then and luckily for me it is PONZI inclined

May be for that single reason sha.

I was thought in the school that democracy is the GOVERNMENT of the people By the people and for the people.
Going by the above defination, one would find an obvious contrast between it and what our leaders have thought us
through their practical explanation coupled with some corrupt illustrations. I know that many Nigerians are aware of my
concern but most of us thought since there is nothing an innocent citizen could do about it we have to just live by it .What i
have come to realise is that one can EXPRESSELY react and tell anyone around you that this is not democracy even if it
can't change the sitaution.

On the other hand, I have compared our present democracy to the old MILITARY ERA and told myself that no matter what it looks like, it is far better than those ABACHA ERA when people were killed for speaking the THRUTH and fighting for human right.

i want to hear everyone opinion on wheather this lagbaja democracy is worth celebrating because to me it is all about CHOP I CHOP OR GO IF YOU KNOW WON CHOP WITH US.

It is a good investment plan for future only because it is not like normal shares which you can trade, it is a mutual fund which you would put a certain amount and watch it as it grow over the years. I have a small amount with them but i later reduced it. You can go ahead and put some money there for your future and dont look at it like what you would go and sell in the nearest future.

This should not be debated at all, If we do so i think its an insult to AMARU SHAKUR

I am an executive in an advertising agency, being in the finance department i have the whole time in the world to do my personal stuffs untill the end of every quater when i would be asked to submit my report. It is very interesting to work in an enviroment like this because of the things and time i enjoy.

My major task in the agency is basically CREDIT CONTROL

I called a staff of the banklast week, i was told the stuff will soon be out. I beleive the bank is actually holding on to the share certificate because of its quoted price on the floor, you know if the bank releases the certificate now,  the price may fall because people will start selling their shares. The bank will definately come up with an attractive package to encourage people in holding the shares, an example is giving a bonus on every shares you have.

Can anyone tell me which share is presently good at the market to buy, i believe some of have been in the market in a while, and have studied the movement for more than two years. Kindly tell me which one with reasons

WHY ARE THESE THINGS WORKING IN OTHER COUNTRIES IF THEY ARE NOT IN NIGERIA

It is a pity that our system in this country encourages stealing, because it lacks proper accountability and in the end we will all discuss these issues and nothing will be done about them. Almost every body in government is there because of their personal gains, I do not see any difference in OBJ AND ATIKU. I can give you examples:

c.  Private university
d.  NITEL's bid was already won by ORASCOM Telecoms before transcorp came in.
e. Why are we not saying anything about those allegation Atiku made agaist OBJ


I THINK THESE OFFICES SHOULD BE MADE UNATTRACTIVE JUST LIKE THE SALARIES THEY PAY OUR LECTURES,HOW  COULD SOMEONE KILL HIS OPPONENT IF HE TRUELY WANT TO SERVE THE PEOPLE.

I think you should tell us what you have achieved with your stolen money and not encouraging people on this forum to join you in reaping off innocent people. It is absurd to read things like this on a web site like this, and i dont think seun did anything wrong in exposing your stupidity and ignorance even though you claim you left school with a first class. I would like to know what you studied in school

WORD OF ADVICE: I think you can divert your talent in to positve things and also make money with your YY skills, check the man power you put in to this stuff and compare it to making a prospective effort in other areas. ITS NOT TOO LATE BRO TO SIGN OUT AND WORK FOR YOUR MONEY.

i cant beleive young people could still be thinking of fixing thier money in the bank, the funniest part of it is that, you will hardly see a banker that will fix his or har money in the bank.Pease wise up and use the money to do better things or give it to someone that needs it.

would you reward an unfavourable result or a negative one, many of us are paid fat salaries in our working places even if the result we produce are not satisfactory, I beleive effort should be rewarded especially if it is relevant.

Hello friends, this has been a very interesting topic for me since i was in school and no one seem to have really given me a suitable analysis on which of these to reward and why.

My advise will be useful for those that will be shortlisted for interview because of two things;

1. Internet inconsistencies; The internet at one point would tell you that the bank is no longer interested in processing you further and at another point it willcongratulate you for your success. watch out for this problem so that you dont give up while you actually passed the test. THIS HAPPENED TO ME

2. Human manipulations; This is the nigerian factor in the whole issue because some officials of the bank would fill in thier own candidates at other people's expense.

I passed the test and did the interview at abebe village but i was not informed or contacted about the medical test which was already late as at the time i knew about it on the internet. This happened to a lot of people i did the interview with. WATCH OUT , GOOD LUCK

well its ok to keep shares for such a long period of time, but diversification of the investment would give you higher returns over such a long period of time.

I WILL ADVICE YOU BUY THE SHARES NOW RATHER THAN WAIT TILL ANY OFFER COMES OUT, THIS IS BECAUSE THE MARKET VALUE OF YOUR SHARES WOULD MOST LIKELY FALL BEFORE YOUR SHARE CERTIFICATE IS READY.

What does every investor intend to get from his/her investment? profit of course. I know dividend is a form of profit but we all agree that the amount most companies pay as dividend would almost discourage anyone form buying shares.
some individuals keep shares basically because they want to keep their money.


  TRADING OF SHARES
I will want to state that this is a better way of making money from buying shares compared to waiting for divided as in the case above, trading basically entails smart decision making, effective stock broker and some level of risks. I must also make it clear that for one to make cool money through trading, one would need a lot of money in order to acquire substantial units of shares.

  INVESTING IN TRUST FUNDS
This is quite different from the two mentioned above because investors are expected to keep their money for a long term purpose, i will advise you to set aside a certain amount from your salary or from your business and put it in any trust fund of your choice, after five or ten year you can buy land or use the money or a car of your dream.

you can only sell at an amount less than the market value.

e.g    

offer price   2.00k    ( PRICE AT WHICH YOU CAN BUY MORE)
bid   price    1.50k   ( PRICE AT WHICH YOU CAN REDEEM YOUR SHARES)

ANALYTICAL EXAMPLE
