So, considering the rate at which the price of foodstuffs keep increasing by the day, I decided to buy enough rice to last a while.
I went to a local market here in Southern Kaduna (where I work) to get my rice. These local markets are open only once a week, with traders and buyers from far and wide coming to make the most of it.
I was able to get local, clean rice at the rate of N1,500 per mudu (our unit of measurement here ). I bought 15 mudus, that's N22,500 and got 1 extra mudu free after scoping the mama to the best of my ability.
I think it was a good purchase considering how our brothers in the south are lamenting the cost of food over there.
What's the situation in your area?

Like most of u guys, I'm a heavy data user. On average, I consume about 3-4gb daily and even more some days. I can't see myself purchasing plans like 20gb or 30gb etc... I'll just exhaust it in few days.

The best plan I've come to appreciate is mtn and airtel 1gb plan for N200. With this plan, I have complete control on how I spend money on data

I graduated from the University 12 years ago. Since then I have been jumping from one job to another with no progress in sight. I discovered that I have been stagnant for Years, so I decided to learn a skill.

I started by learning how to make footwear, I learnt that for a year but I later discovered that it's not what I want to do, although I can make every type of footwear even boots.
Last year I took an online course in frontend web development, for 6 months I studied for an average of more than10 hours daily learning from HTML and now React.js. I learnt figma, scss, CSS, Version control, jquery, bootstrap, Chakra UI and react.js, it was a tough one because I had to forfeit other means of making money. I got hungry so many times, I used my last card to buy data so I can keep studying and doing my projects.

Earlier this month, I finished by portfolio project, I had already worked on 4 projects using react, Jquery, Chakra UI and bootstrap. I designed coupled of web pages using figma.

Earlier this month, my girlfriend who's a data analyst sent me a link for a front-end developer role. In my mind, I didn't feel like I was ripe enough so I didn't apply. 2 days later, I decided to give it a try and so I applied. I was called to come for interview this Monday.

On getting there, the company was working on this revenue web app project they are doing to for a particular state government. I was asked to develop the UI of one of the pages using react, CSS and Tailwind. I have heard of Tailwind before but I have never used it.
I told the interviewer that I have never used tailwind and that I'm proficient using bootstrap. He replied that I should go through tailwind documentation and then use it to style the page on top of react.

So I started reading the documentation, I discovered that it's syntax is somehow similar to Chakra UI which I have used once in my project, the are the same concept of class utility. So I decided to start coding, getting snippets from the documentation and then applying my Chakra UI knowledge to work around it.

To cut the long story short, I coded from 9am in the morning and delivered the page by 5pm.

I was sent an appointment letter today. So my tech journey officially started. It's a junior role though but I'm glad I broke the ice.

The salary is what I have never earned in a month since I was born. 😊

2. If you ask a plateau Muslim they will tell you that they are the majority and they've been rigged all the while, I know this is not true because you cant be losing all the time using different parties and claim to be majority. Politics is a game of numbers and not emotions

I really feel disgusted when I see videos and write ups from Northern Nigeria extractions mimicking Asiwaju to ridicule him.

For good eight years we stood by Buhari despite his obvious short comings but just eight months the north have joined the other Nigerians especially the Easterners and SS people to mock Asiwaju.

Everyone can understand the eastern critism as they have no friend in the Nigerian equation and to some extent the Niger Deltans. What I can't rap my head around is the north joining them to attack the President in such manner.

I think it's too myopic for the north because without us they are doomed. They should remember that we are the thin thread holding this country together. Let them not regret their actions.
We cover for them and we should expect same from them to cement the alliance.

All these are your opinion and not facts. The Muslims have been ruling nasarawa for a long time and the only reason the eggon Christian PDP candidate came close was because of the hardship which made many Muslims vote against the APC, still it wasn't enough to make the Christians win. It's impossible to claim majority while all the governors since inception where Muslims and 2/3 senators are Muslims.

My friend politics is about number, you cant tell me that the Muslims were made deputy of former plateau because of cry of marginalization from the Muslims, yet till date the current plateau leadership refused a Muslim deputy even though the Muslims have a large number.

No one pities in politics, it's a game of numbers. The nasarawa muslims had the numbers and that's why they were choosen to be deputies, same way tinubu picked a northern Muslim over a nothern Christian even though he himself is a Muslim. You have to choose a winning ticket or you'll lose

Plateau is majorly Christian like 65%-35℅ , nasarawa is majorly Muslim like 60%-40℅ . Plateau is more populated than nasarawa, it's obvious that if both states were one then the Christian will be the governor and the Muslims will have to deputize.

Ask yourself why the plateau governor picked a Muslim from nasarawa as his deputy and not a fellow Christian? They understood that Muslims are the majority. It's very funny if you think Christians are the majority in nasarawa yet have not ruled since 1999, yet you're blaming one man called Abdullahi, you're very funny
