my friend, when you read the quran, notice the use of words. it is similar to your first post - heaven and earth created in 6 days, then earth created in 2 days. Its like words in the Quran were used carefully. neither pace nor speed was specified here or you show me if i an wrong. it only says both creations orbit. no matter how slow you agree the sun moves, it still orbits.

besides the style of writing, That an unlettered man could narrate stories of the Past that no one else knows is amazing. that he could give information of the future is wonderful. That the universe in expanding continuously is a knowledge that man has to get to outer space to confirm.
Some will claim he copied from the bible and i once asked a friend, why was abraham thrown into the fire and he does not even know Abraham was thrown into any fire. Yet he boasts the Bible has information of history, that the Quran was coppied from the bible. How can a copy have more information than the Original?
Which Book explains events of life after death like the Quran,
The Quran is a book that has information for Me, for U, for the third person. it is not just for the Muslims but the whole of humanity to guide everyone to salvation.
It challenges the unbeliever to see reason that God exists. To see reason to have faith in God. It is not a story of just people of the past. It is a Book for you and Me. There is no chapter that does not have a direct message to the reader. Go and check. It is not filled with stories of the past alone.

There may be several versions of history about the Quran and you may choose which to prefer. The fact remains that the Book is still 1 today. NO copyright, yet no different version. Is that not wonderful. As for Zaid in your narration, are you saying no one shared his view? Have you not seen hadith about chapter 1 of Quran(Validity of Muslim Prayer), and Quran 112, 113, 114 for protection. It seems you are vast in Hadith but you choose to pick which to focus on.

Muslims need to accept a fact that not all Hadiths are authentic- even in Buhari. It is unfortunate but it is a fact. The Good news is the Quran, which will never change is there to check and identify false/Fake Hadiths. In all matters, Quran is the first reference and any hadith that contradicts the Quran is FAKE. So when you read/Hear any Hadith, verify with message from Quran first before broadcasting.

I think an important question people dont ask is- what makes d quran special.
Assume i do not believe in its revelation (not a muslim). If i get hold of a quran, what in it will make me feel it is unique/divine.
This will be the basis of comparism with " another book being like it"

google greatest lies in history. Once an information is not verified in the past, it becomes history. Is that what people use to make decision about Salvation.

I think we first need to understand what salvation is. What eternal life is. then we can begin to get serious about search for the truth.

I think for a true seeker of salvation, one needs to first define what he expects of God and possible attributes God should have before concluding.

6:76 (Asad) Then, when the night overshadowed him with its darkness, he beheld a star;., [and] he exclaimed, "This is my Sustainer!" -but when it went down, he said, "I love not the things that go down."

6:77 (Asad) Then, when he beheld the moon rising, he said, "This is my Sustainer!"-but when it went down, he said, "Indeed, if my Sustainer guide me not. I will most certainly become one of the people who go astray!"

6:78 (Asad) Then, when he beheld the sun rising, he said, "This is my Sustainer! This one is the greatest [of all]!" - but when it [too] went down, he exclaimed: "O my people! Behold, far be it from me to ascribe divinity, as you do, to aught beside God!

6:79 (Asad) Behold, unto Him who brought into being the heavens and the earth have I turned my face, having turned away from all that is false; and I am not of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside Him."


This Plainly look logical. May God in his mercy guide us aright.

If i am a christian, do i spread mischief or do i have to spread mischief about another religion? Islam teaches that muslims should not abuse those of other religions nor their gods nor their leaders so they do not abuse yours. This is a pill for peace.

But my Question is: DOES BOKO HARAM Spread mischief about Allah? to every reasonable christian, i think if BOKO HARAM activities is condemed by some Muslims, it is a reason to beam a searchlight on it....
