Frankcallys: She was living a double life. Everything about her was a lie, her name, tribe, the family she introduced me to, her sisters, her residence and occupation... all lies. Based on her level on those lies, Lai Mohammed still dey learn work! But I loved her so much.
How I found out about the whole lies... One day, her so called sisters had a problem with some people and she called me to come and rescue them cos they can't even get into her ride and leave. I drove down to Alexandra, like 30 minutes from Johannesburg South, I wanted to drop my car for her in the underground parking, pick up her own in front of the building so that they gonna use mine that got tinted glasses.
At the entrance of the building I met a lawyer friend of mine and after telling him what happened, we went inside to check on my woman/wife to be, but when I called her by her name, my lawyer friend was flabbergasted. He never said anything to me in front of them, but after we left he told me that the name I called my woman is not her real name that I should ask her if am in doubt.
That was when I decided to do a background check on her. I ran her car registration plate on the system and got a total different name, address, status and other personal stuff.
When I confronted her with my findings, she started crying. I left her at home and buy the time I came back home she disappeared. Changed her number, deactivated every account I knew her with and every link I have with her.
I later found out that the sisters, family and place of residence were all fake. Everything was fake except my then unborn child and the way she feels while she's with me. She disappeared with my 4 months old pregnancy and that was in 2014. Till now I've never seen her again or heard anything about her.
Now how about that? The worst thing someone I loved so much did to me and I can never forget because of my son I don't know his whereabout. This is South Africa... You see how we are like moneybag to these bitches their south African men wouldnt take care of em.... Well once a gutter girl... They will always be gutter.. Most of those girls come form provinces like northwest, mpumalanga, limpopo to come get a life in the big cities(jhb n Pretoria) |

The relationship started all over again, with cheating, lets be friends, sex. Until it gets to the fourth time. I was so mad at myself. The last time I did, I told him to move on that I need to be in a serious relationship, then I blocked him. That decision was cool, but I am still mad at myself that I allowed him to use me. leonard002: Well, it's funny you asked because I have quite a handful of experiences. Most of which happened during my quest for medical internship.
The first was when I went to Calabar. The internship exam was at UCTH the next day. I took transport from my state without knowing anyone or budgeting for a hotel to sleep. Recent graduate... Where u see money for hotel... lol.
Anyway, it was a 6 hour plus journey. We arrived at Calabar in the evening, and it was getting late. We were still on the bus heading towards the park when I kept wondering what I would do. As we were driving past, I saw a building with the label: UCTH medical students hostel. I told the driver to stop me there.
I came down and met the first guy I saw. I told him that I was to write the internship exam the next day and I didn't have anywhere to sleep. He told me to wait let him call the hostel president. The hostel president came and asked me to show my ID card, license, and other documents. I did and he accommodated me in his room for two days. Very good guy. His name is Frank.
SECOND EXPERIENCE
The same internship travails, lol. Anyway, this time was in Delta state... Warri to be precise. Normally, I've heard about this city, so I was super cautious. I didn't have money for a hotel and didn't know anyone or have anywhere to sleep as usual.
So, when I got to the city, at the park, I asked for a cheap hotel for like 3k or less. They said they don't know of any, that I should get to Effurun roundabout. Hmm. When I got there I met another good guy, Stephen. He sells eyeglasses. I told him what happened and that I needed a hotel to spend the night if he knows any. He said he stays in the barracks and those hotels inside there were like N1,500 or thereabout per night. I said great.
So after the close of work, he took me there and that was how that one went.
I HAVE MORE, but let's do with this for now...
I took risks sha those times.
I wrote about my experiences in my book titled 'PREPOSTEROUS', if you would be interested in reading. Send me a PM. Oderindemotayo@gmail.com |

CollinsWeGlobe: As my female friends in Nigeria would say 'Saturday is for Owanbe' the current novel coronavirus outbreak: fear and panic has changed the phrase from 'Saturday is for staying at home'.
Amid coronavirus lockdown extension in Greece which will be over soon, I paid a visit to the street market in the country.
I got to the market 9: 00 AM this morning and Police were already standing everywhere like Goodluck Jonathan visit to Lagos in 2015.
Why is there market today when there's a lockdown?
The city doesn't have any patient living with coronavirus, every suspected case are being transferred to Larisa. For instance, the cases in 36 states of Nigeria moved to Abuja & Lagos for treatment, so the government announced yesterday that the market should open.
More than 50,000 people have violated the country lockdown, according to the record.
I will be sharing some of the photos from my today market and the food I ate last week till this afternoon.
Please, I want you to understand that all my thread on Nairaland is a contribution to the platform and they are for entertainment purpose, I am not a rich person neither am I showing off. I am still very jobless here in Europe.
Check out the photos below. God will provide u a job and every hard-working Nigerians in diaspora including me wey dey this xenophobic southie.. They wont even give us job if u r competent for it... They'd rather give their fellow southie n be producing olodo kids here in here out |

creolehunt: I just thought about the girls I've been with and noticed a certain trend. This isn't even about the girls themselves who are excellent human beings, but their families.
First girl I dated revealed to me that the dad died of suspected poisoning and her family were chased out of the family house. Her eldest brother is an area boy while it seems things aren't working out for her other siblings.
The next ones dad was late too, one of her sisters is separated from her husband while the first son of nearly 40 has nothing doing.
The other ones history is that her dad is late too. The eldest sister is cohabiting with a man. They have 2 kids already without being married. Her other sisters bride price was just paid after having 3 kids with a man.
For the other one, her dad is late too, died quite early. The eldest sister is in her 30s and unmarried. Her other sister has 3kids for a man who she isn't married to and now they are separated. Things aren't just working for her people.
The one I just met recently told me her parents are late. Lost both of them to suspected poisoning within the space of one year.
I keep wondering if this is some sort of coincidence. Are u from such a family too?? Which area u staying?? Abi it's ur destiny ni? Maybe u shd just go baff for river |

Minxie: Many people in South Africa don't see the need in traveling because they want to develop SA first. I once asked my father if he will come visit me in China and he said no because he'd rather use that money that would be used for a flight ticket to invest in his business to make the business grow and employ more people. Many people don't see the point in selling their last belongings to buy a flight ticket to go "hustle" in another country. The ones who do travel out of SA do so strictly for traveling, business or work. Those who go abroad for work make sure that they have jobs before they leave SA. People take it very seriously because they don't like traveling with no or less prospects. So you may see it as us being stupid or uneducated but we see it as taking pride in what we have. I agree, why should Bianca* go to Malaysia when she just has a random degree and she doesn't even have a job there yet? Why should Dumi* pack up his whole life to hop on a plane to Canada when he can become something better in his own country? You are right, some people here hate flying but that can be said about many people everywhere. Even me, im happy working abroad but I'll be moving back to SA soon to invest in my country. Call me stupid because I choose to develop my country so I can proudly say: i am from South Africa. Yes and the first time I got a passport was when I got a job abroad. is that a sin? is it something to be ashamed of? We love our country and no matter where we are or how little we make, we always choose to better our own country before we better another person's country. Maybe you should take a few tips from those South Africans around you... Lol I really don't need any tips if south Africa would give jobs fairly to people irrespective of their race...then life would have been much better sweetheart... Do u know how discriminatory it is here for a foreigner to get a job esp teaching jobs even when u r competent more than d south Africans. Anyways I understand they protecting jobs for fellow South Africans... Well am glad u coming back to invest.. So does most nigerians who travel abroad, so long they have made money.. They always come back to invest so get your facts right n stop sounding like Nigerians in diaspora don't come home to invest... NB: I put this to u. The average south African can't afford to travel and even if they can.. They have a fear.... Xenophobia.... That they were foreigners are been treated here is the way they would be treated abroad.... Only the more educationally inclined ones decide to leave cos they know it's not as it in south Africa, the xenophobia abroad.. Atleast I have friends who have moved to China too, to teach English and earning more than the average teachers here that get 18000rand after all tax deductions.... How much is the average salary according to S.A index?? So tell can someone with a average afford to leave the country?? How many south Africans have international passports?? My ex south African girl who made me move here.... Didn't even know what a passport really does even tho she was working in FNB.. I had to tell her that for her to come visit me in Nigeria then, in 2016, she needed have a passport first |

If God could make 1 man conquer an army of 150 singlehandedly (Elijah), then who can battle the true children of God?
If a mortal could split a mighty ocean into 2 to create a dry passage for himself and his people(moses), then what obstacles can hinder our mighty destinies?
If an Earthquake could occur just to save the servants of God(paul and Silas), what bondages can keep us down?
If a man who died and even buried could be brought back to life(Lazarus), then can death separate us from Christ's love? Ha!
If water could be turned to wine due to lack, then what necessity cant our father provide us? Chai! Can God ever go back on his word or change? God forbid!

boman2014: A South African lady known as Zethu Ankosi on Twitter, has lashed out at Nigerian men after narrating her experience with a Nigerian man who slid into her DM.
According to the Ankosi, she and the Nigerian man known as Lawrence Okoro started chatting on Twitter and the conversation was all smooth until she revealed she was in South Africa and could only come to see him if he took care of her flight expenses.
The Nigerian man who wasn't pleased to hear that the lady lives in South Africa, said he wasted his time chatting with her; ''What the hell, you just made me waste time and data on a fruitless journey'' he wrote
To which the South African girl asked if he was used to spending money ''on his cheap Nigerian girls''.
It led to an exchange of words between the pair, and the South African lady posted the screenshots of the chat on her Twitter handle.
''Stupid Nigerian Men with misplaced priorities, go do that with the prostitutes calling themselves ladies in your poor country @LawrenceOkoroTL'' she captioned her post.
