Reyginus: Just a little correction, bro. The EFCC froze the Account of Adamawa State Government and not Nyako's Account. The two are entirely different. Nyako's account was not touched. It's good we don't misinform people.
You see, in this fight against corruption, if our method fall short of due process it becomes corrupting. The EFCC should have gotten a court order permitting the act. Any contrary act, like we have now, is both corrupt and corrupting.
A governor can be investigated, that's true. Where Falana fails is to tell us if it's right to freeze the account of a sitting governor without recourse of a court of law. We shouldn't corrupt the system in the name of fighting corruption. Let's follow due process. Can't you see that Falana is fighting a personal battle with Fayose. I'm neither a fan of Fayose, nor Falana. |

BALLOSKI: so tell me how freezing of an account used for lodgement of stolen funds amounts to institution of criminal proceedings. If fayose enjoy immunity, does his account also enjoy immunity?
What is happening to education in Nigeria?
Do you understand the section you quoted at all? The ISSUE here is does the EFCC have the power in law to freeze the bank account of a citizen or not without recourse to a Court of law?. The answer in view of Section 34(1) of EFCC Act, is an emphatic"no". If EFCC cannot freeze any citizen's account without recourse to a court of law and section 308 of the Constitution says you cannot take Fayose to court because he is a Governor, does it not simply mean you cannot freeze Fayose's account as a Governor? Note: I'm not a member/supporter of any Political party or politicians, but I am a supporter of the Rule of law. EFCC was created by law and now they are disobedient to the same law that created them and empowers them. There are always procedures to be followed in every legal debacle or situation, but I just don't know why EFCC have suddenly decided to be using military approach to resolve issues. We cannot jettisoned the rule of law while "fighting" corruption because doing so will amount to greater evil and corruption. evidencechigo: Men behave childish and stupid because they refuse to eat food cooked by their wives. The childishness n stupidity of men towards their family depends on the gravity of sin or rather act of the family members especially the women(wife). Please I want to ask (1) if you are told that your wife is fighting at the street unclad with another woman, will you be happy throughout that day come to eat her food? (2) if you are told by blood sister/ brother that they caught your wife with another man coming out from a hotel but you are not sure will your rising BP allow you to eat her food? (3) As a man who sees far, you told your daughter not to marry the guy she claim to love n the wife supportered since women are tomatoes to avoid depreciating and on the wedding day police arrested the guy right in the alter while trying to exchange marital vow on ground that he is a criminal will your unhappiness allow you to eat your wife food? Thanks The most annoying part of the write up is " acting as if everything is cool when there is a visitor in the house" this very point exposed the writer's childishness. |

Amicable24: There are some silly things some men do that are rather too childish considering their position as the head of the family
•Not eating their meal because they had a quarrel with their wives.
•Not talking to their children because they did something bad that requires correction
•Transferring their anger from an outsider to the members of their family
•Beating their wives because they had a little quarrel
•[s]Acting as if everything is cool when there is a visitor in the house
[/s]•Acting all nice with people outside but when he comes home he acts like a tiger...and when you tell people outside what he does they find it difficult to believe it .

ettaetta: Romans 10:17 New International Version (NIV) 17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
When u go to church and listen to the word of God it builds your faith in God, and you grow stronger as a christian. Thats why i said its more important to go to church than staying at home to pay your tithes Yes, but it also has to do with our individual persuasion as seen in Romans 14:5-6 (NKJV) |

Oluseguntee: Bank workers are often regarded as the big men, whatever section you are working in. I have been wondering how much they earn considering how high the society rates them. I currently work somewhere and my monthly pay plus other extras is good at least compared to others(close to 60k). I wanna know how much do they pay their graduates new entry with respect to the different banks in the country. A guy is so full of himself because he works in the bank. ( I have no beef against him). po You & your likes are the one rating them high, not the entire society. |
