ikwubaba: We have always assume we need to sell crude oil to survive. That is being debunked daily. If PMB continue like this for another one year, ND oil will fall into secondary matter of discussion. It will become alternative source of income. Just watch.
I see a lot of u guys are happy that production is not going on in ND. Not recognizing that continually, other places are bracing for survival apart from ND. Like cutting your nose to spite your enemy uh?? And who told you production is not going on in ND? Who told you I'm happy with NDA activities? . My grouse is that you people always say that ND oil is not important, yet the country's budget is always predicated on the price of crude oil. Don't you think it's time you people look for a practical alternative to crude oil? I hope you know the amount of funds earmarked by the FG to hunt for crude oil in the Northeast? The funds came from the sale of crude oil from ND. I hope you know how people celebrated the discovery of crude oil in Lagos? But when it comes to ND, you people would say crude oil is not important just because of hypocrisy and the fact that ND is of the minority. Let's learn how to treat ourselves with respect, love and sense of belonging in this country. The wealth of a Nation can never be too much, so, even if we have other means of creating wealth crude oil will still be relevant take it or leave it. |

In this country we pay attention to frivolous issues, Bs.c, HND are both important, they are not the same and they should not be. If your choice is to obtain Bs.c, then you go to the University, but if your choice is to obtain HND, then you go to the polytechnic. You can't be employed with a primary school leaving certificate and expect the salary of someone will a senior school certificate. |

i just shook my head and almost shed tears. Don't mind those racists, if you go back to the history of scamming you will discover how Western people started it and even till tomorrow they're still doing it, but when we do it they make it seems like it is our thing. They thought us how to do fraud and now they marvel at our expertise. Fraud is bad, but it is not peculiar to us alone. |

LordIsaac: My friend, we are a part of a third world country. Over 50% of Nigerians are uncivilized and the aged cannot really fend for themselves. Many still depend on children they have not trained and raised for survival. What do you expect? I once dated a girl (jobless undergraduate) whose dad always request recharge card from. tonididdy: Hello lenposh Your story is like a king who invites his friends for his sons wedding and insists on a particular dress code but because of familiarity, one of his friends disobeys the dress code. Do you know what the king did to that friend?, he tied him hands and legs bound and threw him out or so (matt 20:1-14).
The fact that u claim u are the alpha and omega at your job place like u claim dosent mean u should lack your professionalism and attend to a customr with food in your mouth, even a sweet is wrong because it alters your communication and its childish, unprofessional and not cool. Imagine dressed up in a neat suit and u chewing meat or have a stick sweet while signing an important contract papers in front of your buisness partners....naaaaa
What u should have done is stay low in the reception counter and finsih what was in your mouth before u attend to anyone. The customer can wait (that's like a 30seconds wait).
PS: you lucky your boss is begging you not to resign. Your submission is a reflection of our society and how we reason as people. There is no organisation without rules and regulations, there is no breach without sanction and I do not think any sane organisation/establishment will stipulate that if any of their staffs breach any of the laid down rules, then slap will be the sanction. It could be query, warning as the case may be. Eating while attending to customer is no doubt unprofessional, but slapping your staff for a breach that could be punished by other means is even more unprofessional. |
