What's it with guys crying for past questions as if it's an appointment letter. And who says they need ur scores?
My advice...
-Distribute ur application forms to any responsible 'Big man' u know as u narrate ur plight to them.
-Pray, cry, fast to God, hold Him to ransom. Tell Him u need this job IF ONLY it's His will.
-Go in search of other better jobs.
Despite the fact that I'm 99.9% sure of getting NPS (ASP 2) appointment this year, I try to get my mind off it because (...this is Nigeria)

Pls note that sms will be sent to candidates for physical screening after 22st August. (Date may change).

pls OP I need you to drop that stupid guy number so we can just say 'Hello' to him. same thing had happened to three of my write-ups just this year, the guy took credit for everything on his blog and here on nairaland but thank God for many of my fans here who helped me destroyed his life with insult and curse knowing it was my story OMOTAYO SULEMAN. when I confronted him, he quickly apologized and made amends. the next day, I composed a story for his blog as my sign of forgiveness titled DEATH OF A BLACK WRITER (Which was about the mysterious death of a plagiarist murdered by the aggrieved original writer who is believed to be an introvert but a nasty maniac). My plagiarist on seeing the story began to send apology messages thinking the story was meant to be futuristic on him....I had a great laugh with it...emi ti mo ti wa yere tipe tipe (Me wey don madt since kingdom-come). grin grin

CHAPTER FIFTEEN

THE FALL

_______

SUDDENLY, he heard a distress call from behind, he turned around and wasn’t surprise to see it was Kara, pointing at his direction while she kept on shouting for the guards to come see the prisoner escaping. Cencii though was afraid but had to be courageous and was determined to play the situation to his own favour. Guards armed to tooth were on his tail in desperate pursuit as they dashed out from various corners amongst the buildings, aiming all sought of deadly weapons towards him as he dashed out through the city gate that was strangely opened and unguarded. The chase went on for hours as he had dashed out of the city gate into an open dry and deserted land having no clue of where his horses were heading but he was certain not be caught going by the way and manner his pursuers were coming after him. He saw an arrow narrowly missed him from behind to go hit the white horse ahead of him but surprisingly the horse kept running like nothing had happened, his eyes widened in horror when he saw the cliff ahead, he remembered Kara’s instruction to him, he deepened his hand into the jar and like he had expected, he brought out a small black pebble from it, he knew too well what would happen if he goes by Kara’s instruction and within seconds while he watched his horses dashing towards the edge of the cliff like they had been compelled to, he thought of it all, he thought of what Dakdar had said to him, he thought of the dream he had in the cell, he then concluded it was time to stair things up, break the chain of event for a difference, do things in his own way and by that he decided to end it all, he decided he would die for a change. Cencii threw away the pebble to embrace himself for the worst ahead before lashing the horses for the very last time. Like they were blind, the horses speedily dragged themselves down the cliff along with him, Tom saw himself falling loosely, carelessly drifting long way down through the hot air, he screamed with eyes widen in horror seeing himself heading for a heard crashed, he almost wished he had taken to Kara’s words but it was too late for regret. He fell heard to the ground hitting his head on a rocky surface just before one of the falling horses crushed him to the ground.

My best friend from school, we met when we're 11, married my ex boyfriend who I introduced her to. I dated the guy when I was 23/24 and turned down his marriage proposal because he was broke and uneducated. So we ended the relationship since I wouldn't marry him.

He approached my bestie and she hid this from me. She actually broke my heart by telling me "she and I can't be friends because I'm a bad influence and she's trying to be a good Muslim woman". I was the bad girl, I smoked, clubbed and didn't wear a headscarf. (I think he told her to drop me)

I found out a couple of years later, (my brother told me she gave birth, and married so and so) I wasn't invited to the wedding obviously, even though we promised to be eachother's bridesmaids cry

She apologized nearly 8 yrs later for ending our friendship and for judging me but I still haven't met her children or rekindled our friendship. She is still has my heart and will be my best friend but... from a distance.

She made a man out of him though. She put him through school because she was already a graduate. I am angry because she sold herself short! She deserved better than him but... who am I to say that.

I wish them all the good in the world. I just wish he didn't take my blood sister from me. -We made a blood bond in school- a childish act (we pricked our finger with a pin and rubbed the blood)- this made us 'blood-sisters-

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

WITHIN THE SECRET CHAMBER

_______

He felt excruciating pain all over his body as he slowly regained consciousness. Slowly opened his weak eyes to see an old woman seated beside him nursing a wound on his head. Every touch the woman made to his head caused severe pain to him. The woman smiled down at him on seeing he was awake, he suddenly gripped the woman by the throat but was too weak to withstand the woman’s resistance. The woman dashed out of the room in fright leaving Cencii all alone, he looked around the wide room trying hard as possible to recollect how he had gotten to there. He attempted to crawl out of bed but he couldn’t, he felt so weak like all the bones in his body shattered into small pieces, his breath was heavy, his head banging unbearably like it was about to erupt, his heart beating fast and his memory subdued as he couldn’t remember when and how he had gotten to where he was, he again looked across the room carefully, he then realized he was in a spacious luxurious room where virtually everything in it is made of gold. While pondering on what could had happened to him, the door suddenly swung opened to a stout potbellied man who rapidly walked in. the man stared amusingly at Cencii as he walked nearer, he appeared like he had seen a ghost.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

DEJA VU

___________

He stood firmly on his foot, staring at Lord Bazim with deadly intent. He was sure to disarm and knock out both men who stood in the room with him within seconds going by his strong physical appearance against theirs. Cencii charged furiously towards Lord Bazim who still pisses him off with a wicked grin which still hangs on his face. As Cencii was about an inch towards striking Lord Bazim a deadly blow, he felt an invisible force through him back to the mat roughly, he quickly stood up to rush towards Lord Bazim but he was again shut back. It then dawn on him that Lord Bazim wasn’t an ordinary man like he had thought, obviously there was something mystical about him. Lord Bazim laughed spitefully as he watched Cencii failed in accomplishing his mission. “You are no match for me, I could have your heart pulled out of your chest this moment but you are lucky that my Lord needs you alive”. He paused to watch Cencii crawled to go cuddle the lifeless Kara.

“Luckily for you” Lord Bazim continued “I know a way to bring her back but you must do something for me in return”.

Cencii’s eyes lightened up curiously at Lord Bazim “What will you have me do?”

Lord Bazim knelt to whisper into his ear, “Kill Prince Torberta in an open combat”.

CHAPTER ELEVEN

MESSENGER OF DEATH

_______
Amirat stood stiffened in the corner of the kitchen where she hid herself and Tom beside her, she covered the little boy’s mouth with her hand to prevent him making any noise. She felt her heart hitting rapidly upon her chest with her body dripped of sweat as she heard footstep approaching the kitchen, then it stopped like it owner was thinking against it. She wouldn’t come out of hiding knowing for sure that wasn’t her brother’s style of stepping, Jamal wasn’t the type of man to take gentle steps in panicky times. Amirat tried to guess who it could be but no one came to mind, neither she nor Jamal had ever invited friends to the apartment, at that moment she wasn’t sure if Jamal had broken the rules by inviting one of his numerous customers to come check-out his artistic works rather than taking it out to the street or market.

“Who could that be?” she thought as soon as she heard the kitchen door slowly opened. She could hear her heart beat furiously within her quiet space, she thought of her brother, wondering why she couldn’t hear his footsteps or voice anywhere around. She had a great urge to come out of hiding from behind the fridge but she held back sensing something wasn’t right. The footstep stopped abruptly right in front of the fridge and it owner sniffing the air.

“My little Tom, it’s alright, you can come out from hiding” a soft spoken voice urged. It was a familiar voice and that prompted Amirat to meet its owner.
