However growing up with them was so stressful in every way u can think of.. my dad was the meek type, soft spoken and slow to react but my mom would always complain about everything, she fights everything and everyone.. never afraid of any form of confrontation, she would complain about my hairstyle, she would check if I sagged my trousers.. she monitored me extremely and always nagged about it.. I'm this typa guy who is well cultured, I wouldn't say I got that from home training tho cos I do not drink, smoke nor womanize... And I think it's d joy of every parent to have child like me, I basically had no friends visiting me then and even up till now. I've got trust issues that's why I don't keep friends.. my mom made my youthful days hell for me, I didn't really enjoy it.. times I spent with her were miserable as she would shout everyday, quarrel even over phone conversations that you would think the person she's fighting with was right in front of her.. and some times I even pity my dad whenever she starts with him. I developed some sorta hatred for her
Lately I've been spending more time with them cos of our last born just so I could keep an eye on him and we stayed close too.. and the way she treats him makes me wonder if she was the one gave birth to him, if I was away when she was pregnant for him and delivered.. I would have argued that she was his mother. There were times that I had to pass the night there and her voice or rants would be what will wake me up very early in the morning just as it used to be when I used to be there...
I used to think that as people grow old, they become calmer but that isn't the case with my mom, she's more violent... Been there since last weekend cos of the poor electricity in my area.. we have had power for about 7 days now.. Had gone for a studio session, only to return in d evening and I was greeted with shouting over a very trivial issue, I was so angry that I responded to every of her verbal insults.. and then she hit me and I reciprocated which I felt so bad about almost immediately.. she dragged me by my clothes shouting that I must kill her again, by that time.. my anger had subdued and all I had on my mind was to leave the house immediately. She threatened to arrest me.. She tore my shirt and I managed to pull away from her.. and left without picking my stuffs. All my life, I have never raised up my hands to hit a woman talkless of my mom.. I don't even beat kids when they do wrong, I hate to see tears..
I know it's a disgraceful thing to do. I've got no excuse for what I've done whatsoever. I even avoid confrontations with my own gender sef cos I know what I'm capable of. I'm always quick to say the word sorry just to avoid prolonged issues. Over the weekend I was cleaning my house and my car, only for him to tell me I clean my car too much. And was saying other nasty things and was laughing thinking is a normal thing.
There's no single day that i will wash my car that this guy will not say this to me, how I valued my car more than my life.
Normally, this guy can not look me with straight face and be telling me this kind of nonsense if I didn't create this kind of familiarity with him in the first place.

But I'm not a guy who likes making noise, however this issue has become serious to me At first it was nice as I needed a car just to cruise. Since I work from home, however it has turned to serious billing from Police officers. BACKGROUND So I have been subscribing DSTV since 2015 and gradually up graded to compact plus with xtra view which cost me a total of 14,900 monthly
I was particularly impressed with DSTV rewind and pause feature on explora and the information icon for programs being aired
However, I was getting worried with the consistent increase in price of the bouquet i was on and the diminished satisfaction derived from their services
Like many of us, we would grumble about tariff hike and still go and queue up to pay for the next month subscription
So one day, I just vex cut chain and stopped my dstv subscription and went to buy TSTV
MY TSTV EXPERIENCE I got my TSTV decode , remote control and dish for 18k since January and started enjoying their services
They have over 100 channels which covers Very recent movies, both local and international showing recent movies, lovely music channels, many lovely educative children channels include Tom and Jerry channel ( for those young at heart), religious channels, soap opera channels , sport channels and several others
Once u put on the decoder, u just wait for a few seconds and it's on unlike dstv that u have to wait for long
I am not very keen on football so I don't watch much of foot ball but I was told free sport channel shows live football.
DSTV has the edge with sports channels showing uefa champions football and likes But so far so good I am enjoying TSTV
Since I subscribed in January , I have not paid shi shi since. I had to call the customer care to ask what's up. Them say no problem, make I just dey enjoy they go
PROS of TSTV Some channels cost one naira or two naira a day while some are free
You can choose the channels you want and pay for that but if u want everything they are offering its not more than 4k
Once u pay 18k, u get the decoder, dish and remote and the channels for a least a month, however ,since I have been enjoying it for 3 months free of charge
If you are travelling, you can pause ur subscription by informing the customer care
Some of the channels are High definition
According to them, you can get their channels in any part of the country. However I do not know if they have accredited dealers in all part of the country.
