Hmmm.. Really don't know what made her that angry. Thou might be genuine she could at least not made it so obvious for all to see on such a day.
BTW. the husband seems very cool, friendly and calm while the wife seems to be hard to pacify. Really don't like women like that.
Wishing them marital bliss.

But when I'm angry and you're trying to cheer me up especially when you are the reason for the anger, I get more Mad. angry

People that I've seen to be truly filled to the brim with a game plan are:

Lolu: he doesn't try to mix up. Nigga came into the show dressed like a plain sort of guy, no instant noticed. He talks intelligently and has this sort of innocence around him. People won't see him as a threat till it's too late. By then he has gathered a huge fan base.

Ifu: she's someone who is reserved. Laughs with people yet maintain a neutral standing.

Teddy A: an observer... Looks like one who isn't doing much but he looks around. Probably learning everyone soft spot. He listens, joke with everyone yet still observing. He doesn't wanna lay his card down yet. He's holding the best for the right moment to unveil himself.

It's gonna be interesting....

At the embolden ,Why should my adrenaline still pump.. I connected to Efe based on what the content of the show portrayed "Reality TV show "We have done our part to be true to ourselves by voting for the best candidate in the house ..Anything he does with the money solely depends on him but one thing am sure of is that ,There is an upgrade in his life ..The Efenation impacted on his life which is the most important thing...He might be back with his music ,but dude is blessed and going places .His life has been changed for good due to the Efenation influence ...
Dude I know.... I'm not hating far from it. I just felt with all the potentials he should have done better afterwards. I'm not talking about his progress ,places and whatever. Just music which is the one thing he is so passionate about. our criticisms would go a long way into molding him to be far better than he is right now.

Beyonce, Micheal Jackson, Tupac, shakira and others were once heavily cricized but they became better. Shakira was told she has a frog voice.

The thing is, no one is hating on him. We are only stating the obvious.

Fake Efe fan spotted ...What do you mean he charmed you ...Aside Bisola ,who was more productive ,intelligent ,calculative ,energetic and True to him/herself in that house ..We didn't vote for him because of his Music carrier ...Most Nigerians connected to Efe on one term or the other
Don't call me fake... The money I used in voting was fake too? ( Damn! I think I'm gonna cry when I think about all that money) just because I criticize him doesn't mean I don't have love for him. Besides i am not the only one complaining about his music. Lots of his genuine fans are, those that gave their all into voting for him.

Be true to yourself, is Efe exciting to you anymore? Is your adrenaline still pumping at the mention of his name like when he was in the house? I guessed no.

Don't call me a faker cos i said my mind. Half of Nigerians connected cos we know how it feels like to hustle in the streets and we all praying to God for breakthrough. So Efe was like the perfect picture to drive home the point. Reason why people voted massively.

He's a very mature guy on the inside though.

He should take criticism, his raping style is slow, lyrics doesn't come out smoothly like he's trying too hard to make them flow. He should accept these complains to work on himself. It doesn't mean we hating on him. After all, we voted for him to be where he is today. If we love him, we can bash him so he can do better.

If he doesn't have anything to do with the money he should give us back. grin grin

Her dress is too exposed. Couldn't she look for a better gown to wear? First time coming to a show and you're dressed like a slu.t

See how everybody looked presentable and cute yesterday and all were modestly dressed. When the TV came on, I saw her trying to cover her chest with her belt on her shoulders. Is Mexico a developed country?

Women in developed countries would rather work and make their own money to foot their bills most of the time.

Now compare an average Swiss woman to an average Nigerian woman.

There are also cultural differences that play a role in shaping this mentality, hence why I said their mentality are somewhat different when it comes to money for e.g. like offering to split the bill when they go out on dates, not expecting the opposite sex to foot their bills, take care of their family etc.
Money cuts across continent. Don't forget an average swiss woman could come from a higher class, medium class and lower class, same with a Nigerian. A medium class swiss woman could have the mentality you seemed to tagged an average Nigerian.

Don't think being an average swiss woman mean automatically they all have the same reason towards money( it's like saying a whole country are gays, but you know it ain't possible). I don't know where you got the statistic that an average developed woman would rather work for her money and an average Nigerian can't. Are you kidding me? huh

Wow, I know the situations of things in the country but it hasn't gotten to that now. There are lots of hard-working girls in Nigeria like Linda ikeji who worked from being an average to first class smiley . Just cos there are few bad eggs doesn't mean you should discriminate. Hell! there are bad eggs everywhere, including your so called developed world. smiley

That footing of bills and all that, it's a personal thing. It differs from country to country. In Italy for example, girls do expect their boyfriends to pay for dinner dates. In a debate around the world, more than 80% of people think men should foot the bills while the rest said it's women. So it's not only a Nigerian thing.

You are a Nigerian woman, don't belittle us too low like dogs please.

Women in developed countries have a different mentality somehow from those in the developing countries when it comes to money.
You got your statistics from where? Why would you degrade your continent so low as if mentality isn't an individual thing?

Their mentality when it comes to money ain't different from ours. The Mexicans are known for hard drugs and selling them off to make lots of money(millions)and those Mexican women that follow rich drug lords, are they different?

Money is an individual thing and it cuts across the world. Everyone needs money.

What do you understand by the statement below?

"Ladies, don't be lazy at your youthful age so when you put on the garment of marriage, you can prove that you were once a hard-working lady, but now, money has changed things for you.

I see you explained yourself above, but my interpretation is quite different from yours.

Why does she need to prove that she was once a hard-working lady after getting married? Should it not be obvious even after getting married? What does she mean by hard work? Why is it that only after putting on the garment of marriage that money has changed things for her.

I think her interpretation of hard work(back breaking housework the old fashioned way due to poverty) is different from your interpretation (making money).

[/b]A husbands money also belongs to the wife by Nigerian standards

that is not true to some extent, it's not a Nigerian thing. It happens everywhere in all part of the world cos biblically, God gave a command to man to feed his family. He should provide for his family. Don't make it look a woman is all about her husband's money.

. I believe that is why she keeps appealing to the mother in law to let her enjoy her money after marriage, because she has suffered enough while growing up.

On the other hand she could also mean, she can afford the gadgets that makes life less stressful for her, so the mother in law should not come and make life difficult for her by making her do things the old fashioned way.

Her write up is very confusing. Her command of English is very poor and ambiguous.

Without no emotions and sentimental assumptions attached, the writer was simply saying "Don't be lazy so that when you get married( when you put on the garment of marriage), you can prove that you were once hard-working but now your money has changed things for you meaning, I don't have to suffer cos I can use my money to make things easy for myself. having a comfortable stressed free lifestyle after marriage it's not a crime

If you read upfront you would see where she quoted and referred to her mother-in-law and I quote" when I was growing up doing all that, (that is, doing all those hard chores and living a stressed lifestyle) you were not there so when I get the money, allow me, hubby and children enjoy it in peace

Do you take in the significance and importance of the word I?

There was nothing attached, no husband's money attached, no gold digging attached, no "my husband's money" attached. She explicitly included herself in the sponsorship arrangement not solely being lazy on her husband. It shows she isn't selfish when she included her husband into the enjoyment crew. The so called husband you said she wants to eat her money to live a big life.

That doesn't sound like gold digging to me.

I want you to take note that, in all her statement she mentioned the word "stressed lifestyle" severally. "Stressed lifestyle" not "stressed life".

A stressed lifestyle are habits that cause chronic stress and that bring undue tension, anxiety and distraction that does not help an individual to perform and maintain a level of physical and mental health balance.

A stressed life on the other hand is one who is stressed with life problems and difficulties.

***

With these views in point, we can conclude that the writer is simply seeking for a stressed free lifestyle after marriage, she wants to be comfortable and do some things that would seems so overworked for her in the easy way without being called lazy by her mother-in-law.

There is no gold digging involved. Simple!

She said she is striving to achieve her goals to make life easy for her and her children. What are those goals? To marry a rich man to alleviate the poverty? To make the money herself?

Based on that statement I can see how Kimbraa inferred that she wants to marry a rich man to achieve those goals, as the Nigerian statistics support Kimbraa.

But Ginaz could also be right.

Also she laid too much emphasis on why the mother in law should not disturb her easy life, so I'm going to lean towards her marrying a rich man to achieve those goals.

Her write up is very confusing and subtle, but underneath all that I believe is a smart gold digger if you take your time properly to read the write up. If you have a counter argunent, let me know and I will take a look again.

cc kimbraa , ginaz
You are wrong there. "She is thriving" to "achieve her goals"... (what do that statement mean to you? Doesn't it show someone who is focused, determined and hard-working?) First of all, try to see someone who never mentioned getting her source of income through other route than herself in the first place.

Her writing was explicitly clear and direct. It is wrong to think all women go into marriage to live a comfortable life through their husband's wealth. It is very wrong. A very wrong mindset which is so upsetting.

I took my time to read the write up word for word and saw it as it is, the message she wanted to passed out and no where she stated she wanted a comfortable life through marriage rather when she gets married, she doesn't want a stressed life.

She even gave advice to young ladies to be hard-working in their youth so when they get married they can proved they were once hard-working and so deserved whatever things they can get cos money has changed things for them.( meaning the money they worked for.) she even laid emphasis more on that by saying" the reason men don't want to experience hardship when they get rich same women don't want to either"

I do not blame that Kim of a girl, women have so tarnished their image that what is left of womanhood is nothing to write home about. "gold diggers, sex slaves, liars, hungry animals" and so other degrading names are what is being associated with womanhood.

Making assumptions to what wasn't included is very wrong. You read subtle indications to her write ups cos of your mindset. There are lots of women in the world who are capable of living expensive lives and do not have to depend on men.

Maybe if you would be so kind to change your mindset that not all women are gold diggers and not all go into marriage cos they see it as a poverty alleviation scheme , you would see so clearly what was written.

assumptions sometimes do not always end up being right

Please read the write up again. Thanks.
