Jochabed:What you say doesn't make sense I'm sorry to say. So someone would force you to join them or not? You don't have a choice of saying yes or no? Would they kill you if you don't? Your assessment doesn't hold ground. Peer pressure is rampant. I don't like makeup and don't like making my hair most times. When I was in school, you need to see the stares I got. I was tagged a plain girl, some said I don't have class right in my face . But did I say they were jealous? No cos it's a peer pressure, they want you to be like them cos they don't have the guts to be like you. Why I'm angry it's cos your tittle is not right. Non virgins jealous of virgins? Really? it is discriminating to those who had a rough start. Like that 15yr old girl ![]() I should as well open a thread on makeup girls jealous over non makeup girls. Does it make sense? |
donstan18:Ya I do, everything in life is about choices. If you wanna marry you gat to make choices same with a smoker offering cigarette to someone that doesn't smoke. He has to make a choice if he wants to be a smoker or not. Same with virginity. I am not saying being a virgin Is bad but you goading it over someone that is not, is wrong. A little girl in my hood has started sleeping around she is not yet 15. Her parent would beat her and drive her out of the house for days. She didn't just decide to sleep around, lack of parental care and guidance was responsible. What she needs now is love and care not beatings! What I am saying is, a lot of bad situations can messed up the mind. Hardships, hunger, starvation, lack of love and abuses are reasons some people made a choice of losing their purity. You can't judge them you don't know the pains. I used to judged them but when I saw how people were suffering and how parents don't give a Bleep about their kids, all they do is born and born without a single sense of responsibility can you honestly blame them? If the o.p was in one of those crucial and critical situations would she be saying these? Let's be holy unto the lord only cos everyone has their own hell. Virginity is a choice. Na God go help, cos girls are doing silly things just for hunger not to kill them. Even boys too, going into yahoo some for greed some cos of hunger. The street is messed up, what everyone needs is love not being judged. Na condition make crayfish bend like my friend would say. |
shugamummy:I'm not thee o.p you dummy. I believe that your trash advice was meant for her• |
Please this is so bad on all levels! Virginity is a personal choice, just like life is a personal choice. Why do you think someone should be jealous of you for the fact you are a virgin? If your understanding of virginity is about being above others morally then you don't even have self worth but hide behind the walls of virginity to give you one. Virginity signifies purity in a sexual sense! It ends there! It doesn't make you different from others cos believe me there are non virgins who have a heart of gold that I bet you don't have! What of girls that lost their virginity through rapes? Or through mental abuses? Or those little girls in the north that had no say about their virginity being married off to men old enough to be their fathers? They should be jealous of virgins eh? This is quite strange and it shows the mentality of a average Nigerian about it by the comments I read. Virginity automatically makes you a gold! I laugh. O.p work on your self esteem. You don't need validation for being a virgin, it is your choice. Kindly respect that someone could lost her virginity by being raped. And about those friends you saying that try to make one join them at the same level, I would say it is only someone that doesn't have self worth or self respects that would bow to peer pressure. |
She went through hell. Why didn't she leave when it was clearly obvious she wasn't happy? ![]() |
shugamummy:Abeg shift one corner. cos someone is abroad means they can't be dated? What is so big about the abroad that you tagged her a gold digger ? Is abroad heaven? Your way of reasoning is very low if I may say. People find love across continents it doesn't mean it is done for money. Jeeez, such a mentality you have! |
lazygal:It's the yoruba black soap but the one I'm using is the yoruba red soap. Use equal measurement of the kernel and coconut oil and place in an empty container. I would loved to show you a pix of me so you can see my color but unfortunately my former phone with my whole pix is bad. This one I'm managing is nothing to write home about. But I will try to see what I can do. |
lazygal:I have some planted in the yard. You can plant if you want, that should be better. Use fresh ones only. My black soap is plain, didn't mix anything in it. For the kernel and coconut oil I do mix it together cos the smell of the kernel oil is too much. The coconut oil subdues it. Other times when I'm at home I use only the palm kernel oil cos I like it a lot on my skin. It makes my skin soft and smooth. I'm a bit fair in complexion so don't think it would darken you. The mistake people make is they don't value their true color. Everyone wants to be fair instead of polishing their true colour to a healthy condition and treating it with care. A beautiful skin is one that is healthy in appearance it do not necessary mean it should be white or black. We should go back to our roots, treat our in the natural way. Not all these chemicals that is damaging at the end. You don't have to be fair to be beautiful or black, make use of the skin you have. *sorry for any errors, key buttons are faulty that's why I replied your post late. Sorry* |
Sometimes after eating I experience shock like sensation in my teeth. Especially after eating hot food. ![]() |
walepackage:That was actually words from a movie scene. ![]() |
He is saying. "kiaa! I go put am 4 front, I go put am for back". ![]() |
amly6:Sorry for the late reply. I have phone issues. I make do with bitter leaf water as shampoo and rice water as conditioner. |
Heebah:Unfortunately my phone fell and got blanked last week . All the pix lost I'm sad. |
lovelygurl:I'm so happy too. I use only shea butter on my hair since my hair is so dry coconut oil doesn't do much. My hair doesn't like coconut oil. She's so choosy. I'm so happy i've come this far. Thanks y'all for motivating me. My neighbor has relaxed her hair, said she can't cope. If not you guys I would have relaxed mine too. You saved a sister. Now I love my hair so much..i've never been conscious about my hair like this. I go to the saloons and don't care what they do so long I get out. But this natural hair journey has taught me a whole lot. Now I wash my hair by myself and can treat it too. Thanks lovelygurl for this thread. You won. *my hair was curly like this pic, after day two the curls Shrunk but was still soft. How do I make the curls last. Or would it come on its own?
|
lovelygurl:Lovelygurl you can't ask after person sef? ![]() Na WA o, is that how you do? ![]() Anyway, my hair has been behaving amazingly. Since it doesn't like anything in a bottle, I've learnt to make do with homemade shampoo and conditioner. Just last week, the unimaginable happened. My hair got soft and curly I left it for two days without applying anything and it was still soft. I went to the market with it. I was receiving compliments left and right. Some asked how I made it curly, some out rightly asked me if it was weavon on my head. ![]() My hair has tripled in body and in length. I would soon be parting it in four sections(i'm waiting for that day, I don tire to part hair in 15 sections) My only problem is this, they say you should moisture your hair with water when it's dry. Some hair guru said you should have a spray bottle at hand to spray on your hair at intervals. Whenever I spray my hair with water it gives off this musty smell I don't like. If I don't, it is OK. What should I do? Should I stop? ![]() |
LadyGoddiva:I am tired of transferring aggression it isn't working. Since we are both innocent , we should share equal part of the hypertension I can't come and be eating insults alone. ![]() |
Safiaa:Really? So I should not give myself hypertension? But I should sit down quietly to be insulted cos of you abi? Well, I don't know and don't care if you love to be insulted. So I will scream and shout on top your head when I am being insulted so we can both have hypertension together. |
NoFavors:When you see the emails I get, you would be angry. |
And you this girl safiaa, you are the one causing all this, you have never for once tried to deny this accusations that I am safiaa. You always keep quiet. I don't know if your acts are deliberate, but I won't take this Shiit anymore. People insult me cos of the misconception I am safiaa. If not you, will I be commenting on this idiot airforce1 thread? You have to burst this seed you are sowing in people's mind that I am safiaa. Any insult on my person cos of you I will not tolerate it. I will give them hot till they get it in their stinking skull that I'm not you. |
NoFavors:I will have to report you to the mods. It's like you think I'm joking. Shey nairaland will give me money that I will have two accounts? Do I live here that I will stress myself so much to own two accounts? Two accounts for what? To throw abuses to some kids here? Some people that lack sense! I rather read my novels, at least, I would gain a whole lot. |
NoFavors:Which prove do you have? This is getting me very angry. I hate when people lie against me. I'm not safiaa and do not relate with that moniker. I have only one account with nairaland which is this Ginaz. This is getting me really angry so much. The other time the safiaa moniker had a beef with someone and they put it on me. Me that is minding my business. Anything that safiaa moniker does I am the one taking the blunt insults for it. I think I will have to open a thread to tell everyone not to associate me with that moniker. I am not safiaa. |
Maradona98:I'm not safiaa, I do not own that moniker. How many times will I say it? I'm not safiaa ![]() |
Airforce1:Hey you, I'm not safiaa. Don't provoke me. Who told you I own that moniker? Are you crazy? |
Hell no! |
Be like say na wet kiss the student doctor give am na make am vex ![]()

funmisticqueen:Thanks for the information, what do I know? |
FitnessDoctor:It is surgery, go and watch this episode called blotched. You will see so many of them going under the knife for big ass and boobs. Some even for face uplifts. Exercise could not have given all these fats, the fat in the ass is massive. If it's diet I might understand, but exercise is a no for me. Excercise is for muscle growth and tuning of the body, it doesn't fatten. That ass is a product of fat transfer. They won't tell you their secret would they? I was watching one of these exercise videos online, here is a fitness trainer expert in her own right, she has been training for years yet her ass is moderate. Nothing as big as this girl. I don't buy it. You just don't get ass this massive mainly on exercise. |
GloriaNinja:I support. Exercise couldn't have brought up all that fat to her ass. The ass doesn't have much muscles, it's mainly fat. I'm confused how exercise could have given her all those fats. All this whited eh, they do surgery a lot. They cover for it by saying they did exercise. |
Now she is dead, shey life won't go on? ![]() |
Mtchewwwwwwwwwwe, she looks like a bird that flies at night. |
Gracesofar:You are right. Imagine you met someone at age 15 and both of you are still young and developing, what will marriage do? There is a time for everything. I'm still developing in every aspect of my life, marriage is out for me. I would love to get married when I clock 25 but now, I have my dreams to pursue. Nigerians can be so mean sometimes. people do court longer for 20years and get married. Marriage is not the end of everything, everyone has dreams to pursue. |
