Efftyy:u do not need it for the UK. Your standard driving licence is fine and it’s 15k for 5 years. Also since it is a renewal/reissue you can apply for it online. Inorder to avoid going to capture, select no to the biometrics question when filling the form. I guess it’s how to get it to you here in the UK I can not help with 4 Likes 3 Shares |

Mayqueen2:The safer route is to go as unmarried partners because you are not actually married. It is not right to forge documents that you are married simply because you want to obtain a visa. You have also forged POF. Same way your bf forged his POF. If he didn’t, he wont be looking for you to come and work because he should already have his maintenance money for the duration of most of his school. If things dont work out between two of you, as you have claimed you are married, you must go through an official divorce before you would be able to marry again in same UK as they only recognise monogamous relationships. Well I am not a relationship adviser but the UK is not the way you see it and bf/gf relationship is far off from a married couple. Goodluck sistren! 1 Like |

Bolaadeogun:In reality, Schenghen might not know if they do not check. Sometimes they check, sometimes they don’t. But yes she must serve her 10 years UK ban. Which in reality due to the fake documents can translate into a lifetime ban. Well she has to lay on her bed that she has prepared. If she got the visa, she would have gone on to encourage more people to forge papers to acquire a visa. I am happy the system caught her. It is a very good deterrent. 5 Likes |

Oyesquare10:the questions are 2… 1. is how much are you planning to spend AND 2. then how much are you personally spending… those are 2 questions. If you are fully sponsoring her and as the ECO pointed out, the how much personally should be £1 as she does not have any personal money to bring out. |

Oyesquare10:U stated that she would be PERSONALLY spending £2200 and did not include her bank statements Pls if she is fully sponsored write £1 there as she is not PERSONALLY spending the money as she has none from herself. The ECO said they have been unable to determine if she has these money really available to her and also unable to tell of her current living circumstances in Nigeria. One month bank statement is not enough, they want to see her circumstances in Nigeria…. as against what you filled in her form Reasonable duration of visit for mother coming to see their child(in my opinion) is 2 weeks to 1 month. If she gets the visa and decides to stay longer then fine but don’t start raising eyebrows by including a 5 month duration on her visa form. 1 Like |

lightnlife:put 1 naira or £1 if it is fully sponsored… this has wokred for all my relatives I have fully sponsored Pls on the form max write 1 month or 6 weeks as yesss circumstances change… if/when she gets her visa she can enact her real plan. You already said she is a petty trader, do not go on to make it obvious that she is intending to stay long and set her up as a candidate that has no genuine reason to return back to her home country… on a balance of probabilities she would be denied if she is perceived as such 6 Likes 1 Share |

triplo3:She can travel. She needs to be with old passport showing the entry clearance name and marriage certificate when returning. At the border she can also explain that she would put in a replacement BRP application. There’s no harm. On the website it says you should try to do the replacement within 3 months of the change. I know someone who did it later at 4 or 5 months and cited financial difficulties. 2 Likes |

okeysoninv:Incorrect. They should show evidence of relationship of 2 years for those coming as unmarried partners. If you are married, there is no rule concerning the length of marriage. 4 Likes |

illuminaty:Looks like they are trying to get married for the sake of Skilled worker visa, this is not ideal. Nevertheless, the suddenness of a marriage does not in itself decide the genuineness of a marriage. They will need to submit evidence showing they are genuinely in a relationship whether married or not. Check the above posts for what kind of evidence can be submitted. |
