Hi,
It’s assisted service.
all documents need to be in a4 format. Doesn’t matter if coloured or black and white is what u have.
National id is not compulsory
Go with sponsor’s passport copy.
The time depends on those who are in before you and those who are in same appointment time. If there are few ppl before you, then you will finish quickly in less than 30 mins . If more ppl before u, then they need to be cleared off first

Good evening guys. Sorry my wahala is plenty but I don’t know where else to ask all these questions and my biometrics is tomorrow at abuja. Please do I need to go with my sponsor’s passport or I can just go with a copy? Do all my documents need to be in colored copies and how many copies of each do I need? Do I need my National ID card too because for some weird reasons I can’t seem to find it?
Please who knows how long the biometrics process takes in Abuja cos I want to take time off work for it tomorrow and I want to know how long to ask for.
hi
Is this a self service or assisted service?

Hello everyone, I’m new here and I need your advice.. so I’m planning to apply for a Uk visit visa but it’s my boss at work (she’s like a family )that’s is sponsoring everything.. so the purpose of the visit will be her son birthday party .. wanted to ask for the important documents I need to submit and I saw someone talking about writing statements, do they write letter of statement for Uk or it’s interview?
NB she’s the one paying for the flight ,I will be staying at her place (full sponsorship
Chai.
Pls what are your home ties and any travel history?

Okay…. Thank you
But what do you advice?
Apart from my office writing a statement, is there anything else I need to put in place?
Can I also reapply with a 4 months bank statement?
You already have a refusal. As your things are not in place, leave it be. The refusal sets you at a 50% chance already. No need for gambling
Use all the advice by newbie written above of documents you can provide.
And if you have a spouse and children and some assets to join it , then reapply. Otherwise ask your company to sponsor you to another country.
It is not only UK offering such conferences.
This method has casted especially for anyone with low socioeconomic circumstances.

If it is a fully funded trip then the company MUST justify why it would be paying millions for a low income earner as definitely they need to show that they are going to be making ROI. Like I said all of this feels unauthentic and that ECO spotted it.

Good morning everyone,
please I need your input on this. I applied for a UK visit visa sometime in May this year to attend a conference in July that my office was going to sponsor but unfortunately, I didn't show proof of my own personal fund but attached every other document needed during my application and I was denied.
I wanted to apply again in December for January 2024, can I use a 4 months bank statement to reapply?
Is there something I should do differently apart from
showing my proof of funds/ salary account?
Also during my first application in May, I was earning about 195k and in July my salary was increased to 250k. Do I need to explain my salary increment on my cover letter??
Below is my refusal letter
The person at your company that authorized your travel for conference should write a statement explaining the following: the reason that particular training/conference was selected out of other available trainings, why you were selected to go instead of other employees, and the reason why they selected a lower paid employee to receive such expensive training and why they chose to invest in training you. It’s an instant red flag to the reviewer because even large, multi-National corporations rarely send lower paid employees to train internationally.
195k salary and your company paying all that? Now 250k. Your salary is still very very low.

U also told them u are planning to personally spend 1000 pounds and no one is contributing towards this. How come so? If your company is sponsoring?
You need to take your time and get everything right before applying for any uk visa. It is not the way you guys think it is .
Select one thing and focus. But me I know a 250k salary in this age and time with little or no other substantial ties is no different from 195k

They can't travel separately as my father in law is almost 70 and he can't stay back or come alone, also If We are to work on the statement, it will definitely be late for the graduation. They both have cooperative savings over the years that is into millions but I don't feel it's necessary that's why I didn't put it in the previous application.
Seems like you really don’t want to understand what is going on. Graduation ok fine. But there’s no right to a visa for graduation or any other reason. Even if they give you the visa, border officials can still turn you back if they feel on a balance of probabilities your story is not clear.
You need to prove to them that you must return to your country. Everyone is an abscondee except proven otherwise. Especially for folks that have no travel history whatsoever. How cab they trust that this is not your plan like others not to go back to Nigeria if you do not take your time to prove this with ties.
Write all this things in the letter, 70 yrs old has this has that etc plus all of the advice above. Good luck

It was stated in the application that they want to spend some times with the grandkids before returning to Nigeria.... as for documents, my mother in law is a deputy director for which I submitted appointment letter, last promotion letter and statement of account. My father in law is retired and appointment and retirement letter was provided as well... the document of the house which they jointly owned was provided as well. We might reduce the time to 2 weeks though.
they cant have such long years of working or just retiring and present such account statements and both of them want to be sponsored fully. What happens if your sister with 7k pounds after spending 4k on them is not able to meet up? So she would be left with 3k. Then if something happens and both are not able to go back, she will be struggling financially as she would have her bills + them tk take care of. Then does it mean they will recourse to public funds? My opinion. .. do not reapply now, work on bank statements… work on ties. At least the person working should aim to have some funds. Cnt have only 300k in account and say they will spend 200k out of it. ECO is asking what sort of decision is this? To spend almost all account balance on 1 month trip that one can not personally afford makes no sense and casts doubts on their intention.
Last promotion letter is not enough, provide all promotion letters and lastly let one person step down for the other while using the other partner as one of home ties.
If one person gets granted, then second can retry

Hello guys .... my wife's parents were refused visa last week. They are coming to the UK for the daughters graduation and the daughter indicated she'll be funding everything with about £2,000 each and her statement of account has almost 7k. We plan to reapply immediately because the graduation is 4 weeks away... can we put 1m each in their account and say they plan to spend half of it personally during the trip or we should nullify their own statement of account entirely... below is the screenshot of the refusal letters
1 month for graduation is the first red flag.
Next pls clarify what documents proving their ties to Nigeria that they did submit. It is not good enough that the sponsor will wholly fund their trip. Their personal circumstances each would be taken into account and now to make matters worse both of them who would have served as home tie to the other, both of them want to travel together for graduation. Not good enough seeing that they have failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt why they will be returning to Nigeria.
Stuffing each person’s account with 1 million and reapplying is not the solution. U must address and prove what will bring them back to Nigeria.

First of all, you can actually pass your input across without being rude and condescending. We are all trying to help.
Secondly, I’m not dragging it out I merely pointed out what I saw on the gov.uk website and my personal experience.
Thanks
Thanks.
You mentioned that what I said was not true. Perhaps you could have started by not insinuating lies from my part.
I have only shown you that it is/was indeed true. Cheers.

Oh my God. If it is a priority application you would pay for it. I never said it is not available to purchase. The money does not go to TLS. It goes to the Home office and tbat is why priority and super priority are only collected in pounds. I repeat it is a UKVI service.
Your mother and sisters applications were not priority applications.
They were treated fast according to you because the PH centre currently has low waiting times for now and NOT because they paid for it.
Stop arguing about what you have not understood or do not know. Your file jacket would also be a different COLOUR on biometrics day and not same as standard applications.
Priority is a UKVI service and the payment goes directly to UKVI and as such is classed as a REGULATED service. Not to TLS. If you kindly would open your tls page and see that priority and super priority fees are only collected in British pounds while the other fees are charged in naira. They are also not found on the first page but on the last page. That is step 2.
Sms, premium lounge, primetime, flexi, courier, keep your passport etc are services offered directly by that TLS location so are collected in Naira. For an application to be processed PRIORITY OR SUPER PRIORITY it would need to be paid for in BRITISH POUNDS and the application set at the top of the queue and the money for this is transferred directly to the UKVI and thus collected in pounds.

Write £1 or 1 naira for the PERSONALLY part since the student is not contributing shi shi. I’ve mentioned this on different occasions on this thread.

Good day all. I hope I get answered. For those who have used the PH Center, what does the £250 cover? Is Assisted Service, Courier and Priority services included in the fee? Thank you
Priority fees are £500 flat. The centre states that the fees are for courier, sms and premium lounge. It does not cover priority. If they decide before the stipulated time then that’s great but it doesn’t cover priority as priority fees are paid straight to UKVI and can not be conjoined with courier fees and premium lounge fees which are collected in Naira by TLS.

I was just asking to know if relationship status can affect visa decision, that's all
It is per individual basis ofcourse. Dependent visas and spouse visas are often linked/tied to relationship status.

It's possible to correct it through passport, since she has not process passport can he put d details he put on his application forms on d passport.
Thank you
Hi don’t complicate matters. If you have filled passport form and paid, it’s one of two things, the dob and name must correspond with what is one ur nin to be able to get a Nigerian passport. U said she already has nin. What is on there first
If u now decide to change what u have filled on ur passport form, then be ready to change all ur NIN details as well because she will fail verification if the details on the NIN do not match what is supposed to appear on the international passport.

When he was filling his own application for skilled worker.
That is where d error came from, when they asked him about his mother and father details. Thanks
I understand. That information is already in the system so whenever he wants to apply for say a visit visa for his mother they will surely bring back up his application form to crosscheck the information between then and now. Nothing more to do but to start looking for reasons to explain in the mom’s form when the time comes, to get lots of pictures and documentary proofs right from when he was younger till now to show that this is his mother.
In extreme proactive cases and if he does not have proofs linking the maternal relationship , he can decide to do a DNA test to add to her application.

so where did he fill in the wrong information?

Good afternoon

I want to ask, my friend is making application for his mother but there was a mistake he made when he's doing his own application, like, when they asked about his mother name and date of birth, he made mistake with name and date of birth of his mother.
The date of birth is 1970 but he filled 1965 while the name is *TAIWO AGEEbut he filled BASIRAT AGEE
Although the mother bear the same name but on birth certificate is TAIWO AGEE.
Cancel the application as if you have not gone for biometrics you will receive FULL REFUND.
I have a friend whose mother has not been able to come into the UK for the past 10 years as UKVI says it is not his mother. They do not believe that he could make mistakes in his mother’s name and date of birth in same application. Unknowing to them, these changes are quite frequent in our part of the world but in the UK, your birth date is your unique identifier. Do not take it lightly. They can not understand why such discrepancies.
They also refuse to believe that you would not know the DOB of your parents at the back of your palm. At least that’s what they have been telling my friend.
Basirat and Taiwo. 1965 and 1970. Hmmm very noticeable gaps.

I wish home office can change the 20 hours a week rule for those whose sponsors do not have any shift to give.
A sponsor brought people in with an offer letter of 40 hours a week shift but ended up having no job to offer. She even told this people to pay her £150 for an online care certificate training link.
Many care homes and agencies that have jobs are not willing to give more than 20 hours a week shift to those who are on Tier 2 sponsorship.
They brought themselves in after paying for COS.

Of course, be very worried. This singular act, can be deemed a form of abuse.
By extension, next thing might be traditional marks or FGM.
This is not true. In paediatrics, you must report FGM straight to the police immediately after seeing the child, for ear piercing there is no clear safeguarding rule on this one or any clear form of reporting so I doubt that you can equate a whole FGM to piercing the ears of one’s child and therefore abuse.

Hello everyone… please is there any implication for piercing one’s baby’s ear at home ? One of the midwives that came to check the baby today was saying she was going to check with social services to see if it was legal. The baby’s ear was pierced by my mum. Should I be worried ? Kindly share your views. Thanks
Hi, my cousins had same issue. They told them it is cultural and tried to make it look like the midwife was trying to be discriminatory against their culture . I don’t know sha but that’s how they wiggled out of it.

There is absolutely no such rule.
Anything that is not on www.gov.uk is misinformation as that site is updated every second as a guide to the whole nation.
If you get denied for this reason ONLY I am happy to assist you in lodging complaints to the highest possible quarters. There are laws by which the UK operate. My worries are about how you came about the money in your account, your chances appear slim with that and you are a housewife saying you are going for a course for 3 weeks: of what benefit is this course? Goodluck
