What exactly happened there with Hodor? I'm quite confused. How did his decision to hold the door in the present affect him in the past?
Basically, bran warged past Hodor (willys) to gain access to present Hodor. This must have messed up his mind and caused the seizures which made him simple minded.

Bro, but there's nothing stopping the 3-eyed Raven from telling Bran what would happen if he warged without his guidance..The man sef too dey code info!
I think what happened was that the 3 eyed raven was watching the white walkers unseen then bran tapped.

Hmm that's some theory.
The possibility that Bran is all the Bran's from the past. And of utmost importance to know that he has a link to the past and is capable of affecting changes.
Then again, the past is already written and the ink is dry, and the future...
Bran sure has a lot to do with what's happening on this show. All the weird things happening undecided

Meanwhile, why does the whitewalkers want him and the three-eyed raven dead? Their abilities must hold some damning truths for their existence.
He is not really affecting changes tho. The idea (so far) is that what ever he does has already happened in the past. It is a closed loop. Like in lost or the time travelers wife.

Actually they do, which was why Arya went blind.
No, she went blind because she wasn't worthy, Not because she didn't know how to use it.

Honestly, I don't like the idea of Tcotf being the creators of the Others. I would hate it even if written in the books.
What idea would you prefer?

Her scenes seems just perfunctory like the sands snakes'. What amount of physical training will turn puny Arya to a fighter. I expected her training to be in the art of stealth, face changing, disguise, using poisons etc.
Face changing? Even without training, she used one of the faces last season. Face changing doesn't need training

During the initial stages of Bran's training with Bloodraven. The 3 eyed raven told Bran that he was in cave for a purpose, and one of that purpose was to change the future. The Night King marking Bran was bound to happen, otherwise Hodor won't be holding the door. Bran refused to adhere to the 3 eyed raven instructions and the original events actually occured. Many times the 3 eyed raven told him if he stays too much in warging he could sink. Had he listened the past and future would have been re-written.
Despite the threat of the white walkers coming, they still warged to winterfell. It was all predestination/destiny.

So sad how history misrepresent Ned.
It's a comedy show. It's just for fun. Accuracy was not the first thing on their mind.

Bro d hound was floored brienne had him with a sword at his head....he should have yielded but he fought dirty.....still she fought back dirty with a rock and bashed his ducking brains upandan.....he was already phvked when he fell of d edge....
On his best day, Brienne is no match for the hound. Remembered he was terribly injured and even Arya said he was getting slower (I can't remember what injured him). On his best day, Brienne is no match.

I'll take the word of god on this Dany issue. My Dany doesn't need to be worshipped like some deity.
Haha okay Bro.

Ranchhoddas:
No need to get testy. The showrunners might decide to deviate but an episode is not enough for me to conclude. If it is for you, then by all means, please conclude.
It's more than one tho. The hot bath, the hot dragon eggs, the birth of the dragons and the killing of the khals. But no problem, to each his own.

I Will just scroll past this Dany argument from now on.its pointless
TV/MoviesRe: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by gj22(m): 12:26pm On May 21, 2016
Ranchhoddas:
He won't accept because she actually isn't. GRRM was asked and he said that what happened with Dany at Drogo's funeral pyre was a one-off event, a miracle of sorts. The events of the last episode, which I believe your conclusion is based on were also spectacular and as such can also be attributed to the miraculous. We have just not seen enough on the show to confer fire immunity upon the mother of dragons.

Yes she is in the show
. We have seen more than enough to draw that conclusion.

Out of all the Targaryens on the show, she is the only one who came out of heat/fire unscathed 4 different times. You would be in denial to still be fighting this.

GRRM spoke about the books when he said that or he lied. afterall, D&grin also said Jon wasn't coming back.

Fire/heat or waterver cannot hurt the unburnt. Simple

Okay, let us have a mature conversation. Give me concrete reasons why you think she isn't (show only but you can back it up with book).
TV/MoviesRe: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by gj22(m): 7:44am On May 21, 2016
Crown vs HS had better b this episode. I don't watch episode previews so that I don't spoil it.

Jon vs Ramsey (bastardbowl) is probably going to be episode 8 or 9. That's if they follow the trend of previous seasons

Gbola5:
Why.. ?!
How am I supposed to know why?

You do realise that we are watching a long story unfold right? Do I look like someone who can see the future?

Why not let the story end before you suggest if she needs that particular skill set.
TV/MoviesRe: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by gj22(m): 11:09am On May 20, 2016
Gbola5:
Summerhall, Battle of Redgrass Field, The Dance of Dragons, lots of Targs have died by fire. And they were as Targ as Targs get. Its not a 'gene'. Besides they burn the bodies of dead Targs to collect their ashes, which wouldnt be possible if they were immune. The thing with Dany and the birth of dragons was a one time thing, something magical, a miracle, which would not happen again( GRRM ).
This your logic is soo flawed, I don't even know where to start. How can you say a dead body will not burn? That's like saying dead wargs should still be able to warg.

I don't even know why this is still up for discussion.

Twice in fire, twice not burned and we are still arguing if fire can hurt her?

Not to talk of her extremely hot bath, her holding hot dragon eggs, her dragons breathing fire past her in qarth.

She is magically immune plain and simple. Why D & D want it this way is their choice. It's possible some of their ancestors have been immune too (show universe).

@bolded, didn't the show runners also say that Jon snow isn't coming back?
TV/MoviesRe: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by gj22(m): 10:51am On May 20, 2016

She doesn't need to be immune, so why make her immune.
Because she NEEDS to be.

Not everyone has the gene.
I wouldn't really call it a gene because it is magic that is involved but you are right. Not everyone has the "gene"
TV/MoviesRe: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by gj22(m): 9:36am On May 20, 2016
Gbola5:
They have a tolerance. It is stated that some Targs loved their baths extremely hot and all. But they're not immune, they will die by fire. Which is why that scene with Dany didnt make any sense.
This fire/heat magic is specific to Dany alone. Must the directors say it in an interview before you realise that? She is a chosen one. She even had a dream on how to hatch the dragon eggs.

Targaryens are not immune, Dany is. She even said it that Viserys is not a true dragon (or something like that)... fire cannot kill a dragon.
TV/MoviesRe: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by gj22(m): 9:31am On May 20, 2016
maafen:
If the Targaryens are resistant to heat and fires why does the heat of the molten gold kill Viserys Targaryen ( Daenery's brother in season 1)? Thought the trait runs in their blood.
It's not Targaryens, it's Dany. It's her specifically.

I still believe that is a loophole in the vow. After all Sam found a loophole meaning men of the night's watch can have sex. He died. So hid watch has ended. It doesn't matter who believes him south of the wall. Whenever a man of the watch dies, they say 'and now his watch has ended'. Coming back to life isn't particularly a common thing at the wall so maybe they need a new law for those coming back to life grin. Seriously though, I don't think he is breaking any vows. And death means he can live.
Sam didn't find it. And I don't think it's a loophole. Men of the night's watch have been having sex long before Sam even saw b00bs. Why I don't think the sex bit is a loophole is because the point of not fathering children or having wives is to avoid attachment. Now, sex has nothing to do with that. We know people have sex for leisure. People can have sex without forming attachments

That's definitely Rickon.
It is most likely him but it's not 100%. If you think it is, I will like to hear why.
