GeneralZodd: I think they are Experimenting not confused, the suspension of Acceptance rate has got me back fully working on their platform, and alot of drivers are gradually coming fully back on their platform. By the time they get so many complaints about the fixed price they will look for way to tweak it make it better. Competition from Indrive is really making them to ease alot of things @the bold; I never knew bolt had done this. They're on the right track with that. The introduction of acceptance rate and driver score was actually the reason drivers started complaining, cos it increased the blocking of drivers and forcing drivers to accept unpleasant rides. If they had heeded to drivers' complaints from that period, they won't be in this mess they found themselves (put themselves, rather). Drivers are the 'soul' of their company. They should take that. Much respect, sir. |

Omoapena: That fixed price will cause serious issue for bolt, they need to revert back to their old pricing method or else, nah problem e go cause.
Imagine some riders that will ask you to end ride half way of the journey.
They better stick to their old pricing method.. More confusion for bolt. Much respect, sir. |

I just remember something now. On Friday, those stupid danfo drivers were doing park-and-pick @sandfill bus stop for VI, obstructing people from driving past the traffic lights and causing jam, na so one man wind down his Jeep beside one dafo and stoned the driver with sachet water in his face. Omoh, I happy die. 😁 I was like, ooooh, nice one. This is a good idea. Are you people pondering what I'm pondering? Much respect, bosses.

Omoapena: If you need partnership and you're certain of your knowledge about the work, I will be delighted to join with you in partnership only if that idea of yours is catchy... Still weighing some couple of options. Things are expensive now and all those home appliances are seriously affected. Prices have skyrocketed and this has been making some people hopping onto toks (which I don't deal in). Na only few peeps dey buy brand new outright (which is my own deal gangan). So, I opted for easy-buy format (pay small small). They pay a % for an item, I sort the balance and their repayment period na 3 months, and I have got 3 people already. I want to see the outcome first. Still test-running it. I still dey the rudimentary stage. You know, they say a forest starts from grass. I've not got the ground yet, but definitely, will be moving. But I've noted your proposal, sir. One of them below. Much respect, boss.

sucobaba: Hello @Gazz.uzz and house,
Due to wear and low ground clearance ,I'm looking to change tires on Kia Rio 2016 EX trim.. seller sold it with mixture of 195/65/15 91T and 195/60/15 88H.
Which size do you advise? Thank you. 195/65/15 too small. 15" rim is not vey good for this Nigeria roads, except is covered with 70' profile (vertical height) tyre. Upgrade to 205/65/16. I don't think that car leg space can take beyond that self. So, with 205/65/16, you would appreciate the difference. Much respect, sir. |

TUBLEZ: This bolt fixed price is not encouraging 😑 rider mistakenly put another address which was like another 15 mins drive to the normal address and the trip still ended same price Bolt is confused. They're trying to satisfy riders by fixing the price for them, whereas, it's not favouring drivers who are the 'soul' of the business. Indrive is giving bolt sleepless night and imagine someone suffering from insomnia for 3 days wey dey try to solve physics, shey him no go work down rubbish like this? Much respect, sir. |

Halahhalah: I can't believe you are just getting to know that you will find it hard to leave the job if you are not determined to leave. Not everyone can handle the mental health that comes with the job. Like play, the person here that started 2022 said he just wants to gather funds from Uber within one year to go full time on his electronics business is still here with no leaving time in sight. I started with rental, now the car belongs to me with no pinch. I bought it from the owner last year September @2m. I didn't announce it cos that's not my targeted car (03 big daddy), but had to buy it from the man cos I was ripe enough to be independent. While some people were putting head inside traffic when the 3mb was on full lockdown, I was running my business lowkey and small-small, I didn't drive for the hustle for a single day. I don't drive 6 days a week anymore, I drive Wednesday - Sunday. Sometimes, I drive only Friday - Sunday and put in more energy for these 3 days. When I'm big enough, I won't be doing the e-hailing any longer, but for now, who am I when the legends I learned from are still raking in hundreds of thousands in a month? It will be senseless of me to leave such hustle that gives me someone's salary in a week. I dey mad? Case closed. Much respect, boss. |

Omoapena: No dispute, the job has psychological effect, can't count how many times the job has made me angry unnecessarily, anytime I get a bad day from the job, I will just look for a trip that will take me home, before this fuel increment, anytime I'm having a bad day, even if I'm in ajah under bridge, I will blow empty from there till I get home but now, even if I'm in Yaba, I will want to wait for a trip that will bring me closer to ilupeju or mushin and waiting for that kind trip when I'm already vexed will just be adding to my frustration....
As it is rn, my mental health is at stake cox of this job... @the bold: How Na so e hard reach? All those devilish riders don't even get me at all. Once I drop you, I forget about you straight. The only thing that gets me is multiple cancellation, cos I will have to replenish my account from my savings. Na only this one dey vex me. But still, after every-every, once I reach house, I flex it off so far the profit keeps rolling in. It is well. Much respect, boss. |

XPaul: Good evening everyone.
How was our day?
I am new here and I need your guidance.
I own a Honda Accord 2010 and I want to start doing Uber (only) on Saturdays majorly. I don’t know if I would be able to add Sunday. I have a 9-5 job.
Please share all the possible advice with me as I have mostly been a rider.
What documents would I need? Is there a thread on the registration steps?
Thank you for your help Since you do 9-5, take Saturday and Sunday for test-running the hustle. These two days would be a perfect run for you as a starter. All documents required, you have them already. Just download the indrive and follow the steps in registration, no special document required, only the ones you already have. To your last question, download indrive and start the registration, whichever one you encounter and don't understand, screenshot and post it here, you would get support. Much respect, sir. |

Barbiturate: Honestly I regretted doing such. I don't even know how I managed to pull that stunt. Normal me, I'll just drop your luggage and drive off.....but then I remembered all the attitude she put up and I was like; how can she treat me like this and still not pay; omo, that devil in me no gree at all! Thanks baba It is well, boss. ✌ |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Glithronix: 8:58pm On May 02, 2024 |
Barbiturate: This hustle will change your character if you're not patient and careful! I did the unthinkable and I regret it so badly.
Picked this babe with her make up luggage. She entered and didn't even greet. No issues with that. I greeted and she ignored. No issues still.
Oga, Increase your A/C, I did. Oga, reduce the radio or put it off, I obeyed. She was giving me so much attitude but I still ignored.
Got to her destination, ended trip and showed her the amount(bolt) She said she can't pay that amount, that the amount wasn't what bolt brought when she ordered.
I said Madam, you will pay me my complete money. She said ok now, make we dey see! I put off my car and got down. She got down too and said she has all the day to wait. I said; Madam, I cannot wait, I have work to do. Pls pay me my money, and let me go. She didn't answer me. She was just using me to make calls.
I just entered my car, started it, then she started shouting that her luggage is in the trunk. Omo, I zoomed off. Entered the next street and parked there. She started calling, crying and begging me that she will pay any amount for her luggage.
I said; Madam, I don't need any amount. Send me my money and I'll come back with your luggage. I sent her my acct and she sent it.
Came back and I quickly dropped her luggage. Entered my car sharply and drove off immediately. She reported me. Bolt blocked me. I sent them a mail explaining what happened. They said next time I should leave the rider and report to them. They unblocked me the next day.
Notwithstanding, I still hate my actions though! That was never my kind of person. One thing indrive will never do is blocking your account after a rider (of one trip) complains to them, instead, your driver star would drop. Well, my account has never been suspended since I been don dey use indrive. If I tell you what really transpired between me and the rider that gave me 1 star ⭐ with those bad reviews ehn, she was was just a plain devil. Well, na silence I take kill her power, and I collected my money complete. If you like, go hell and come back, I go collect my money. This hustle is just like other occupations that sometimes, the devil amongst human would come and test your capabilities. By the way, I like how you handled that situation by "driving her luggages go another street", thumbs up for you. Your regret, I feel, you aren't that kind of a wicked person, but had to pull that stunt to get your money, which wasn't a bad act to me. Much respect, boss.

tojahh: Much respect sir,
The job has no dress code, let the drivers breathe! Do you know how many drivers just came into town to come try out the hustle (Most of them no get where them dey stay o). People are struggling to survive, they wear what they can easily fit in. As you see me so, 7 days a week if you jam me, that 7 times na short Nika you go see me with stripes for leg. If you say my dressing look shabby, cancel and order for the man with suit and tie. I can't be working as a boss of my own and you'll be telling me now to dress to my own office.
After all, the cancellation is a plus to people that dresses WELL. With the knickers u dey wear, do you look good and clean, or you look dirty and tattered? Come dey sweat like roasted chicken? Actually, my post about that wasn't intended to annoy anyone, it was triggered by the drive I saw on that day, omohhhh. Even car looked so crappy with all rim covers gone. May God make am easy for us sha. Lastly, the part where you mention suit and tie. Omoooohhhh Make the driver come cap it all with a briefcase. Much respect, sir. |
