TheModerator: Dor real? Don't you sweat when you are driving under this hot weather? Abi, na all the time you leave your AC blazing while waiting for your riders?
Driving and dress sense is a pure mismatch. It doesn't even make sense or correlate considering the nature of job. So long as a car is neat, driver is not smelling, it's all well and good. Just stack your paper and stop talking about fashion. The job doesn't warrant it. Okay, baba. Much respect, sir. 🙌 |

pope191: We offend you ni 😂😂😂 Abeg forgive us.
I picked a lady that was just *para- NIG* yesterday over the phone. What happened? She transfer 2500 to a driver last year and the money processed twice. Driver refused to refund, despite all the excuse of bank issue to blocking of the rider. As fate would have it yesterday, he picked the lady trip and sense did not tell him, he has messed up in that location.
She says on entering his car, she tried to talk to him politely and if he remember the lady he refused to refund her money. The man denied and ask her to get down, if she’s not ready for the trip. Matter got worst and loud, people came around and with enough evidence, baba collect dragging, insults, and still pay the money 😂
Most drivers don’t refund and that is very bad. What is 2500? This story. 😁 Karma is omnipresent. E go meet you wherever you are when your time is due. Much respect, baba. |

Let's thank God for our little wins. In as much as I'm not excusing indecency, but people are going through a lot. I can give you several examples of drivers I have met in the hustle. Where is the motivation to dress when there are issues hanging on your neck?
I can't count the number of drivers I have had to talk to while I park to relax. Some, it will be written all over them that they need someone to talk to when they approach me, so I give them audience. Of course, some will come with the usual chest beating of how they make 50k daily without putting on AC. I'll just pick the available request or drive away. Me too, baba. I've been seeing some of them like that e don tey, na the one wey I see today really made me make a post about it. Heck! I can imagine the number of cancelled rides he would have got when arriving at PU point and the rider shows up to see his/her driver. You can't show up to me like that, I go cancel straight. May God ease his affairs and bless him in the hustle. That dude needs a serious prayer. It is well. Much respect, sir. |

Make I go register my new car, maybe it will be put under comfort category...I go just tick only that category so any trip I get will be worthy... This wouldn't have happened if Indrive didn't exist. Bolt is changing things because of indrive. That's a super-effect of indrive. Agreed? Much respect, boss. |

Bob was arrested for naira mutilation. However, I feel the EFFC just wanted to have him in their arrest record, cos what Bob did was nothing near what some cash-crazy dudes had done with the naira notes. I even saw some skillful players using naira bundles to play football at Obi cubana's mum's burial time. Naira don really suffer. |

Check the map and see what is happening at the moment. Well, anybody coming from island should avoid taking 3MB. Just jejely go and take Apongbon-eko bridge and find your way to your destination. The traffic you go face on Ikorodu road is child's play to 3mb. Make una check map before taking order oh. |

See the kind traffic wey NNPC at Alapere estate dey cause now. They need relocate comot for there or make dem extend their land deep in nahh. There should be a standard requirement to be met before you can build filling station. |

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Glithronix: 12:38pm On Apr 05, 2024 |
Pearl1910: Lolz...no how filling station will not cause traffic especially in times of scarcity like this. All the ones u mentioned that are ideal examples are located on roads that have service lanes thats why it looks like they aren't causing traffic because the main traffic is one the main express. If there was no service lane, that Northwest in gbagada would have been causing a mess because there is always queue there. As big as the compound is, the queue used to reach Anthony sometimes. The price, quality and quantity variations of the fuel will always make people go and queue where they feel they are getting value for their money. Shebi we wanted deregulation...that's the price we have to pay.
As for danfos, they have found a way to pay of lastma to allow them operate as they like. We will never get a Gov like BRF who would impromptu come to a place unannounced without siren and convoy and catch people sleeping on their jobs. SMH Much respect, sir. |

Other things that contribute to traffic in Lagos need to be addressed by the government. 1) Na this one dey vex me pass; all those danfo & korope & Keke wey dey park to pick and drop people at unacceptable places. I don't know why law enforcement agencies have been overlooking this ill-attitude all these years. There should be a regulation that will deal with any danfo/Keke/korope driver who parks at any odd places to pick people. 2) Filling stations; those of us who drive to places on a daily would agree with me that filling stations also cause serious traffic on major roads. There should be a standard requirement that should be met before you build any filling station. For instance, it's very odd and senseless to build a filling station on 1 plot or 2 plots of land and be located by main road where there should be free & flowing traffic. Examples are total filling stations on Toyin street, NNPC beside Olatunji street, ojota. Conoil opposite LASUTH on Oba Akinjobi way, Ikeja. AP now NNPC on Mobolaji bank Anthony close to Maryland bus stop. Even total filling station on Mobolaji BA way. MRS at Ojota bus stop. Total beside Ojota motor park if you're coming from ketu, just a few. If you're to build a filling station with a small land piece, it should be completely off major road, infact, minimum land requirement for building fuel station should be 1 acre of land, so as to contain all cars and get them off the road to eventually prevent traffic. Imagine the kind of traffic that NNPC that's located beside alapere estate always causes? All filling stations should completely be off road for vehicles to queue. Look at Northwest filling station beside Oguntona crescent, Gbagada. AP filling station that's immediately after Atunrase estate, gbagada. Conoil at ajao when coming from MMIA. Enyo at Ilasan-lekki, just a few. These are examples of filling stations that will never cause traffic, no matter the situation. These two things will continue giving us daily traffic no matter the infrastructural development in the state. Why would a sensible human being build a filling station on 1 plot / 2 plots of land nah? NNPC beside Olatunji street at Ojota and others dey craze. Go and build your filling station inside forest make we come dey meet una for there nahh. |
