Friday jamz dey. Thursday (Naija old school) dey. I even gat raggae songs. Fuji dey for old and matured Yoruba passenger(s).
Na only blues I no create playlist for, cos nobody wanna fall in love Kikikiki.
I choose songs for people, not for myself.
Songs that I know all of them can sing along.

Funny enough Alaba market is close to that place. Anybody who lived and grew up around alaba knows where mosafejo is. If you know sunny bus-stop, turn into the bus stop and straight down is mosafejo. And sunny bus stop is at alaba.

Go and accept the ride and head to Mosafejo nah.
Drop the passenger there and collect your money. 😁😁😁
Or better still, when you get to Mosafejo, drive the passenger to alaba as a cruise drive and collect 5k fare price.

I've been using bolt and indrive as a passenger, too.
In many cases, those drivers would call me themselves and asking me where are you going, sir?
In my mind, I would be like like, wetin be this: but my destination is showing on your app there!
Well, since I'm a driver, too, I don't take it seriously, I just relate well and answer.
That's cos I understand the whole thing.
The one I dey pity gangan na indrive drivers. You accepted my order and you called me immediately. The next thing I go hear is, where are you going, sir?
WTF! Bro, If I cancel now and they remove your money, you go come here come dey rant say indrive this, indrive that.

But me I never kuku jam a rider wey respond rudely when I confirm their destination to dem.
As I said, I don't ask where you're going. I just confirm the area (location) to you.
The complaints I've heard from passengers were that some drivers always ask them where they are going when it's already on the app.
What they meant was that, a driver will ask them, "where are you going?"
You see that's annoying when you as a driver can see the address on the app.
Why not confirm the area to them?
Oh, this destination says in Ipaja side/Ikotun side/Okota side/Oshodi side, etc.
Passengers will simply respond with a YES if that's the area.
If it's not, they will alert you.
This one is different from asking where your passenger is going when you can see it on your app. Just confirm the area, lobatan.
Do this before you leave the PU point. Simple.
I've been saved uncountably by doing this.

I don't know if you have experienced this, the PU is ikeja cantonment and you that you're in abule ijesha around that unilag area will be getting the trip and you will be seeing 5mins to pick up only to realize the map is pointing to somewhere within abule ijesha area but you know where ikeja cantonment is...


I can't count how many times I have educated riders not to input pick up address when they are requesting in area they aren't familiar with, they should let the app detect their location so it will be easy for drivers to locate them.

Not only that one self. One day, I was around Ososa Avenu, bariga side and I picked a ride that showed "Abeokuta Street" as PU which I was very sceptical about before picking, cos I know like 4 Abeokuta Streets within my reach on mainland here. But the money was sooooo good that I picked it.
I immediately messaged the rider that the Abeokuta Street you are is in somolu here?
He replied fast that no oooh, it's Ikeja. Omoh, I no even waste time, I immediately cancelled with "I refuse to take this ride".
My mind no dey deceive me.
And that's because I've experienced it very well and if I no learn, wetin I gain?
If I see a PU Street name anywhere, I know the one that will likely be inaccurate at the glance of it.
Btw, some don't understand how this thing works.
With their LOCATION off on their phones, they just open app and post a ride request.
If I switch to my passenger mode, I go wait for like 30 secs before I make a ride request.
That's cos I know that the app will load in the background to pick your accurate location.
Many of them need to understand this.

Look at this trip, it's a perfect example of what happened to pope, a driver will accept this now and drive to the point the map is showing but entirely different from where the rider is going.

I am a driver and I have my rules which I follow strictly my rating on indrive is 4.9 and I don't take shit from people....I have walk down a passenger around that bonny camp before because they were going to fadeyi other side, but the map was showing that I can pass through that road they've block, so from vi the price was 5200 or so but when I picked them they told me I will have to pass 3rd mainland and then start driving back to enter fadeyi other omo Naso I drop dem for middle of the road where they just finished Stanbic HQ now...... because I am doing e hailing does not mean I should take shit from people.

There are ways to ask riders self that won't even feel like asking, but confirmation.

I have been in couple of it and rider will ask where am I going too. If we are yet to leave the axis, I don’t take kobo from them as I’ll ask them to book another rider. Driving for 20 mins, like getting to destination, they will use rider to do ritual las las.

Accept the fact that u should always confirm where a rider is going to rather than assume the destination on the map is correct. As someone who majors on Indrive App, u should know thats compulsory.

Last week I picked a trip from Opebi To Ibadan street, Ketu. I checked map and saw Ibadan street off Agboyi road in Ketu so I assumed thats where she is going. My error! I drove to pick up, saw her standing by the road side, then my defences came up. As I start d trip I saw map directing me towards ikorodu, then I asked her pls where are u going to? Madam say Irawo. Ah, sorry I can't go that way, I thought u are going to Ketu Alapere. Na so I end trip jeje. I apologized and thanked my star she didnt put Alapere while she was going to Irawo. Cos normally I always confirm destination before I even drive to pickup, except for addresses that announce themselves like offices, event places or there is Lekki or VI, written after the street name then no need for confirmation.

Sometimes its not their fault cos they can't use the app properly, if "Somolu" was written next to the "okesuna", then u would have won the case, sorry for the loss. Make Una use app wey gat ya back.

Seems indriver is having issues with there mapping, u will see some full address but taking u to different area entirely. Everybody should know this one, rccg on Lagos ibadan express ways always show CMD rd, while the Rider will say na camp. And the price is for CMD.

They need to fix their map

It's not about indrive having the issues, Lagos has names of same street in multiplication and as an experienced driver, I don't expect you to leave a PU point without confirming the destination "AREA " to the passenger first.

I don't know if you have also seen that Alaba International Market will be pointing to Surulere. This, and the RCCG own, an experienced driver should know it's an error, so, all you have to do is ignore such ride.
But some people will still pick am and reach PU point then start dragging with the rider.
This thing no hard at all.
Some passengers will type address and when 3/4 pop up, they just click and pick one, instead of them to specify the area of the street they're going before posting it.
For that one wey Pope complained about, na him I go drag, cos that baba na legend in the hustle.

So strange thing happened to me. Picked this ride from Surulere to Okesuna shomolu. Before picking these girls, they ask the route I am taking as one of them wants to drop at stadium. Told them I’ll use stadium to connect Bajulaye. On getting to destination, they flip and said I took them to wrong place, their destination is Island. Issue flip as they drop and refused to pay. People gather and try to settle, while at it, they book another ride.
Driver came and try to find out what the argument is all about. Next he blame me for not asking them where they are going too and if they report me, they will block me. I just weak and ask them to go, no wahala.

Doubt if I can help any driver in this racket again.

I'm never using that bolt again, even on 2.5surge, some indriver trips is far better after commission...

Imagine a trip from lekki phase 1 to ajao estate for 13k
How much would it have been on bolt with 2.5surge, maybe highest 15k and after commission, you will be left with 11k but on indrive, you have 12700...

Pearl, try use indrive for a whole day by selecting good trips and you will realize it's good.

My problem with indrive is, you have to be on the app so you don't loose better trips and also, some riders are fond of telling you to pass long route cos they want to get something along that route and some will branch somewhere and waste your time without adding money for the waiting time...

Indrive is yet to roll back to the normal price measure. They're still running the December surge on the app, that's why there are still high fare prices like what you are having on your DB.
Same thing on bolt. Bolt still retains the surge power on their app. Everyday.
The question is, when are they returning to their normal pricing?

Such question won't be asked cos everybody knows that it's surge period and the amount of fuel you buy won't determine your gross, but the type of trips that are coming your way.
As you said, make nobody come dey ask how much fuel person used to make a particular amount.
We are not seeing the question now.

Saw 3 different accident last night, one corolla hit culvert on ikorodu road, probably he doze off, another one fell inside gutter along ogudu by that pedestrian bridge that fell off at alapere.
Another on airport road flew to the other lane and hit oncoming traffic.

The way drivers are driving themselves cox of this surge, it's becoming serious...

I can tell you emphatically that many of these drivers don't know how to drive.
You can easily tell between a good driver and an inexperienced one from the way they move around you on the road. Though God is the savior.
I swear, many of these drivers don't understand the real driving and safety at all.
And this is common with Corolla drivers, cos I dey pay attention to all vehicles surrounding me when I'm anywhere on the road.

6 trips for the gross on display.
The last trip was a to-&-fro trip.
This last trip to Ikorodu was funny. I wanted to pick one ride that was like 20k+ from Oladimeji alo street, lekki ph1, going to Alimosho area, this ikorodu trip just popped up from no where and my click picked it (unintended). Chai, I wanted to cancel but I wanted a clean hustle with no cancellation for yesterday being Sunday, cos I had mad cancellations on Saturday of almost 5k on my refund wallet.
I just accepted my fate.
Got to folixx and the rider pleaded that I would take her back to fish farm, Ogudu.
I happy die, billed her 13k for that and she agreed.
Where exactly in ikorodu are you going, ma? I asked.
Haruna bus stop, someone is waiting for me to deliver my wig and shoes, she responded.
I happy. We move.
I did small shopping in ogudu and got home few minutes past 9pm.
Na yesterday I did just one offline trip this December. Had a lot of offlines mehn.
Some riders Don collect my number both on island and mainland. I dey disappoint some of dem self. Una wan kill person ni?
