I'm sorry to ask....cos this isn't the solution/answer to your question, but it will lead to my advice for you! How will you be driving a car till the engine knocked? You don't check oil or what? Do you just wake up in the morning, start car and move?
My own confusion is why will I allow my owner-partner to buy engine for me since the car is on HP and I've been using it for 3 years?
My partner's own is to be receiving his remittance, not to take care of the car for me nahhh.
My own thought sha.

Mine displays like this, i was thinking it's the bolt app map.
Readreamer don talk am finish.
Na because I turn on "show traffic" on my Gmap, that's why I always see everywhere traffic conditions.
And by the way, Heheheheheee, judging by the time your map is showing you will get to dolphin estate from your location which is 2hrs +, I hope you're not among those living in Awoyaya like this? grin
And hope say na Bolt you dey use, cos I don't think it's advisable for indrivers to take trips to Awoyaya in this period. grin
Heheheheeee. Such drivers go see shege. grin

Much respect, baba.

Well wetin make me cancel the inDrive order was that

I saw the order stayed long without anyone bidding for it so since it was towards my area I decided to give it a try with the highest bid and voila she accepted and started chatting me up immediately

I shock say she accepted the highest bid so I say make I check bolt

Omo I saw the estimate for that same destination to be 18000-22000

It was then I got the gist and cancelled oh
Lmao
Inside life. grin

Thanks, Glithronix for this exposition. Sometimes, I can't prevent the auto-start due to concurrent events like using the map to the pick-up location, and at the same time, an impatient rider calling to know where you are.
It is well.

Baba Glithro.nix, there's no loyalty to any of these apps. Anyone that guarantees more returns at any given time is welcomed. Indrive get hin own palaba, e.g that automatic start is very annoying. Also, now you have to pay in advance.
Sure, baba.
No loyalty to any of them.
I don talk am before say if indrive start one strange rubbish that doesn't favour drivers tomorrow, I go improvise straight.
Na cos they're doing normal some of us still dey cruise on them smoothly.
Paying in advance is even better than owing in advance.
Also, automatic starting a ride is on the driver nahhh. It won't just start automatic. Maybe una never capture am.
It loads before it starts which I have discovered long time ago.
So, when it's loading like that and I am yet to get to PU point, I will cut it (repeatedly) and I will keep my eyes on it till I get to PU point.
When you get to PU point, it will not start again until you leave, or you press "start ride" by yourself.
See screenshot below. I just saved it that time I discovered it. It's been long.

Much respect, baba.

Lmao... yesterday afternoon I was on the island when I saw a request on inDrive going to my area for 8600

It stayed for hours no driver picked it

I bid the highest which was 10700 she accepted

The thought of let me go home and just close from there crossed my thought
Then I decided to check the estimate on bolt oh boy I saw 18000 to 22000

Kai... the app was blood red!

Me wey sabi cancel i clicked cancel with false order and to my greatest surprise inDrive debited me 1070 and e no reflect for my refund tab or trip history

I just put on my bolt and saw a trip from Salem to phase one on 2.1 surge

Trip ended 6800 😂
The bold is what some drivers do on indrive and they will come here and complain that indrive debited them.
The only two scenario you will not be debited on indrive are:
(1) when you cancel immediately you accepted a ride with I refuse to take this ride, your money will not be removed at all.
(2) when you arrive PU point and waited the 5 minutes then cancel with rider didn't show (this will take your money to refund wallet).
Any other cancellation aside those two will take your money.
Back to yesterday's surge on bolt. I dropped a rider at Mende Maryland yesterday and I parked there to get order, omoh, come see as orders wanted to kill my phone. I was like what is happening?
My mind just said make I check bolt app, omoh, everywhere red like chilli pepper. I was like, oooh no wonderrrrrr. cheesy cheesy cheesy
That's why I made the comment yesterday about bolt drivers being quiet like say we no know wetin dey sup that yesterday. grin grin
Awón lowkey millionaires ika. grin
Omoh, everywhere red like mad.

Much respect, boss.

Who has experienced a case where rider booked a ride on indrive but chooses wrong destination and the correct destination is where you hate to go and also the fare doesn't even favors you to go to the correct destination.

What do you do in such case?
I've experienced this wella.
Na why I dey always confirm destination area to riders before we move.
In a situation where I put the actual destination of the rider on Gmap and see say it will cost me a lesser driving time and to a good location, we move and price still remains the same.
If na to any of my red-marked areas, I cancel with passenger did not show up.
This thing dey happen steady cos some people will just put their street names and pick one from the numerous that show up on their app, instead make dem complete am with the area gangan.

Much respect, boss.

Omo!!!

How una dey do abeg?
These riders that would put estate gate as their destination and when you reach there you go cone begin another journey again.
Just carried someone going to Ikota Estate, over 10 minutes after entering gate we still dey waka ooo

Where we dey go bayii
If anyone chooses any estate as destination, just know that you are going to drive the person to his/her street inside the estate.
Always have that in mind incase you choose to pick such rides in future.
It's normal.

Just a glimpse of how Lagos would be when they finally shut down 3mb is what happened yesterday...

I've already decided to travel to abk for the whole period they will fix the bridge, thank God, there's bolt in abk as well...

I can't go through that rigorous traffic for 6 months or even more...
And to think it's projected for 6 months is another nightmare.

We wan rebuild am next year.
Make dem at least patch the major spot that's causing traffic every day for people going onward the bridge after leaving the iyana oworo Berger nahhh.
Patching that spot alone will reduce traffic, pending the January 2024 .
Abi na so we go dey suffer traffic till January?

Treaster:
Boss how do you get your map to display this traffic conditions?
Step 1: open your map and input any destination

Step 2: drag the label in the first picture UP.

Step 3: Click on 'show traffic' as seen in second picture.
Always turn it off when your map turns to night mode in the evening (while using the map to navigate), cos it will confuse you.

Much respect, boss.

How many drivers dey outside like this?
As for me, make I just dey play my PS2 jeje.
I can tell that this traffic is as a result of that damaged spot on 3MB, rain, and queue at filling stations.
I dey even feel like not driving today self, cos the weather is good for sleeping as the rain still dey drop some great jam. cool
