obinoral1179: how far it's been long, how is indrive rider treating you? Ogami, sir. For this period wey traffic Don grow extra wings, person must apply wisdom oh. I don go park for house since 5pm. This is how I've been running my race since after the Ramadan public holiday that we finished fasting. I always enter house between 5pm - 6pm, then monitor traffic till night time and if road clear before 10pm, I roll out and target just 3 trips to boost my gross. If road no free before 10pm, I stay home and enjoy the night. Indrive requires sense and calculation - cos as we indrivers no dey like seeing traffic, na jolly time for bolt drivers. Just look at the traffic conditions at the moment. Na Saturday and Sunday dey give me joy now. Indrive riders? I know how to handle them. Much respect, boss. |

This @HonourablePomk, from the way you dey comment, you go tey before you get it right oh. Them don tell you to leave indrive and make bolt your main grill. This was the same thing I advised you from the beginning. Before PS2 came to us, na PS1 we dey play. When PS2 came, we used our PS1 experience to play PS2 and we played professionally. Bolt is supposed to be your starter in this hustle. I think your major problem is the fear of getting on highways and driving to some places. If you still holding onto this, walahi you go tey for there I swear. Leave indrive for now and take up bolt, forget the 25% commission they take, everyone of us paid it and some are still paying it and nobody die nah. Wait, if you don't get on highways and some challenging places, how you want take count yourself as a professional driver and gather the experience you need to ball on your own? Abeg, How? You dey run from highways, na why you dey accept those yanmayanm fares that you will even be frustrated by the passengers. Surge or no surge, be using bolt and go anywhere. You can't be in this kinda hustle and say you are afraid of highways, who does that? You started driving January last year and you still dey fear driving? That means you never ready be that. Oga, you better drop the highway phobia and get on the road and make your money (with your own car ooh - can you imagine?). Challenge yourself and get on any road. Use bolt for now. Start driving on bolt and be sharing your dashboard here if you can so that you can be encouraged and 'gingered'. Set your daily target @10k for a start, then increase it once the 10k target starts feeling like drinking water to you. Na on top bolt oooh. Leave indrive for now. You need to gather the experience and confidence, bro. You just dey make person vex sha - don't make me go court ooh. Much respect, boss. |

HonourablePomk: Please I think newbies need your advice on this.
Both mainland and island where are the sure spots drivers can park car and wait for trips. Not knowing spots has affected me a lot.
Please I will suggest the gurus here drop spots they know as this will help newbies You will get order anywhere you're parked both on mainland and Island. Indrive passengers don dey plenty now, so they're everywhere. Abi are there places you parked and didn't get orders ni? Though there are some locations that you might not get closed-by orders immediately but if you wait enough, you will get. Some drivers fit no get that patience to wait though. Which locations have you found yourself parked without getting orders? Much respect, boss. |

HonourablePomk: Thanks for the advice. I’m familiar with alagbole as I’ve taken riders there before. I dislike bolt soo much because of the 25% commission that’s why I rarely use bolt. My driver score is 76% now there and will only use it when I’m ready to take any trip. Indrive gives the advantage of choosing where you want to go to. Bolt doesn’t care about anything that’s why I don’t use them. My experience yesterday taught me and I’ve learned from there Nice one. I can see that you're already improving with your analysis between bolt and indrive. You're doing well. ✌ God no go shame us. Much respect, baba. Btw, how're the road conditions of Alagbole/Yakoyo axis now? It's been loooooong I been to those areas. |

Btw, Mr. Honourable, were you not the one I advised to start this hustle with bolt? Na bolt you suppose dey use as a newbie and gather the experience there. Na the experience wey you gather on bolt you go use to hustle indrive. Indrive ain't as reliable as bolt is in terms of customer services. You in particular, na bolt you suppose begin with. Omoh, dem indrive riders go rip you tire if you no add crase to your mentality ooh. |

HonourablePomk: Hello guys. Yesterday Sunday morning This guy with the name tolu on indrive booked ride for his girl from Haruna around ogba to excellence hotel at ogba for 1k. I picked her up and told her to send money soo I can drop her at the gate. She kept saying the guy is sending it I got to the gate and had no choice to enter the hotel. The guy came out sat at the back seat smelling of Igbo and told the girl to go inside the hotel. He said I should take him to ojodu and back. He said 3k and I asked him if he his going to take time he said no. We got to yakoyo at ojodu he delayed me there even used my phone to call his dealer I guessed he wanted to buy Igbo. While on the way he asked me for 10k to clear something off on his palmpay I told him I don’t have. Right from when I picked up his girl at the beginning I knew something will be off about that trip. From yakoyo he said I should take him to alagbole I told him he will ladd 1k and he shouldn’t take time. He said ok. We got there I wasted 20mins and I changed it for him. He started saying shey he his paying for his ride. And I told him this waiting time he isn’t paying for it that he his delaying me that wasn’t the agreement. I told him to get down from my car got his number and sent my account number to him. Up till now I haven’t seen any money from him. His girl 1k trip and his 2k trip to alagbole I haven’t seen any. He doesn’t even reply my message. Indrive didn’t reply me as well when I contacted support. His name is tolu and this is his number 08130952893 Sorry to say this; this that you have experienced will definitely build you. One thing about this hustle is that you will gather all the experiences you need on the field. The only thing that pained me is that you agreed to do offline (as a new driver in the game). You don't do offline anyhow on indrive. In fact, I will advise you don't do anything offline until you don sabi the hustle wella. Offline doesn't come with pleasure on indrive cos you will definitely waste your time, either waiting or driving extra which doesn't worth it. Your mistake was that you ignored the sign - someone who oozed Igbo, you agreed offline with him In a case like that, you should be in a hurry to collect your 1k and leave immediately. You even sent your account number to him on SMS and left, waiting to hear gbagaun (alert)? Well, I won't blame you much cos you're still in the learning period. You will improve with time. Once again, don't ever agree offline on indrive until you have known all that needs to be known as a pro. Take this and thank me later: never pick any order that's less than 2k on indrive. My 2 cent. Btw, shey you go still take order to Yakoyo/Alagbole again? Much respect, boss. |

Welz: one newbie driver will still accept this offer, I accepted a trip today from oshodi going to computer village, as I was approaching the rider I saw him bringing out about 8 big bags I just reversed and cancelled immediately with "riders load didn't fit". These riders don't care about your car as long as you take them to their destinations You did very well, baba. Majority of the passengers are so unreasonable. Why can't they enter car park and order for a suitable vehicle? Me self dey very good at cancelling order when I see something annoying at the pick up point. Much respect, boss. |

I still wonder how una dey do am: the time person suppose dey enjoy sleep, person go don dey on road driving. I've tried it twice when I started new and I saw that it didn't worth it. On this early mómó (4-6am) rush, Na danfo drivers and those who are going to their various work places with their own cars I can say they want to beat early morning traffic. This life no get duplicate: the time we suppose dey enjoy sleep, person don dey on road dey hustle while sleep never even clear for the eyes (trying to cheat nature)? Wife dey house. Kid(s) dey house, abeg make una dey think of this. I will rather work late night than this early mómó driving when I suppose still dey in bed. If 10am no nack, I no dey go out to drive. Sometimes self, 11am, 12noon, 1-3pm, I dey set out and meet up. Make una dey think of the families wey depend on ur living, abeg. Thank God for your life. That was too much, though. I total damage.
