What is wrong with some drivers, even if you're desperate and there's scarcity of requests, that doesn't mean you should do any request that comes your way.

I was so pissed this afternoon, someone requested me from mushin here, the person is going to mafoluku, normally, I don't do trips less than 2k but because everywhere dry and requests wasn't coming, I just said I should honor it and probably from there, I will get better one.

I drove to the rider and she was already waiting at the bus stop, to my surprise, I saw cartons of tiles beside her, like 40 units of it (those normal tiles inside small cartons, I guess 5 pieces in a carton)

She pointed at it and said this is what I'm carrying, I just look at the woman's face with a very annoying look, told her how can you order private car to carry tiles and not even 5 cartons of it but over 30, her response just got me angry, she said I should go if I can't carry it so that her daughter can book someone else, in my mind, I said no sensible driver will carry this on a trip of 2k highest, even 10k, I can't carry it.

I was surprised when another driver came with big daddy and carried all the tiles but if you see how his car went down, I'm sure, if he passes where there's hump, his bumper might pull off...
Honestly, some drivers have made riders to abuse and use our services anyhow...
Boss, hope no be me wey come carry the stuff you saw. cheesy
I showed up with a gold big daddy and both my front and back bumpers dey even scratch the road as I was leaving.
You come shout, wéré-wéré crazy driver! On top my head. abi? grin

But seriously, all this wey you talk no go enter some drivers ears at all. Even if na 10bags of cement, some go still carry am with mumu fare price. sad

Like today, I dropped a girl at unilag, as I was driving to go position myself, na so orders popped up and I picked one, the passenger accepted me and I arrived at her PUP. I called her and she said she was coming; I waited for over 20mins, she no come. For my mind, I have concluded I will cancel her ride, but I want stress her small.
As she came out, she asked me to drive front a bit, as I drove towards her, come see load; bags and cloths. I just dey laugh say well done.
I allowed her put all her belongings inside boot and back seat, whereas, I already cancelled her ride while she was doing that with one girl helping her.
When she was done, she begged make I give am 2 mins say she wanted to take her room key, I no talk. She spent another 10mins, as she came out to enter car say she don ready, I asked her to pack all her loads out, that I have another order waiting for me.
She and her helper were surprised. I just dey look both of them.
Dem pack all those things out and I just shut my boot and door, they didn't expect such attitude, from their faces, you would clearly read it.
I just zoomed off go position for Abule Ijesha road.
Wetin vex me gangan na that delay. She come get plenty loads join am. I was just laughing.
Much respect, boss.

You will not see what every other person bid but you will see the cheapest offer. It will be at the bottom right with the tag "Best Offer" and Rida will tell you that other driver(s) made a better offer, consider lowering your price to secure order.

With Rida, I still net 20k+ after commission. It's easier to secure orders on Rida than on Indriver. Indriver drivers don't even check where the rider is going before clicking .

Their fastest fingers is on another level. Sometimes, I use to ask if some drivers wrote a Javascript code to auto accept orders.
The bold isn't true.
You will always see some orders on indrive that nobody will pick. It will remain there and you will wonder why nobody is picking.
And the reason is always the destination.
You for say "Some Indrive Drivers".
If all of us no dey check destinations before picking, I suppose dey gross 50k everyday unfailingly.
But the truth be say, make una sha leave indrive for us like that, Rida and Bolt are better than that yéyé indrive jor. grin

I AM +1 TODAY.

So I start work on bolt very early today from 6am and by 8:30am . Already gross 12k. Then trips began to get difficult to see.

Between 8:30am and 11 am, I was only able to do 3k more.

And till now no other trips has been found on either bolt, indriver and rida.

Its Time to go back home to celebrate my birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉

Whether 25% or 27%, wetin I know be say bolt commission too high.
Another thing na when passengers cancel, na you go still suffer am with your scores.
Na these two aspects be the major thorn in drivers garri.
Even, this indrive wey some of us dey praise for now, dem fit start their own anytime when they feel they have gained ground properly, cos na so dem dey start. And e sure me say dem self go start one kind thing, but for now, they're good.
If any app F-up, I go abandon am and find the one wey I fit cope with and use.
So simple.
BTW, I noticed that drivers don plenty on indrive, I don dey even see female drivers self.

I still dey wonder how many drivers wake as early as 5am to hustle. lipsrsealed
When I started new, I did it like twice and I wouldn't say I enjoyed it. E no work with my spirit at all.
That time na when sleep start dey sweet my belle. grin
Those who wake by that time are drivers who always gross 50k upward on daily.
Now imagine such drivers come dey settle for 25k gross on indrive, dem go get annoyed. grin
I have said it before, if you be bolt driver who gross 40k minimum on a daily, you would hate indrive, cos 40k on normal day ain't guaranteed on indrive at all.
Na lazy drivers like us this indrive fit well well.
Now, the picture is clear. cool
Much respect, bosses.

Competing to get a trip on indriver is too high. And it takes luck and proximity for the rider to accept you.

Imagine the waiting time before you get another trip. Since I dropped my 2nd rider in vi at 8:15am. I competed for 3hrs 23mins before I got the 3rd rider.

Im heading home, only 3trips N14k5 gross since 5:30am, I don't have to strength to park and stay under sun.

I just missed bolt back2back If not i for don cross 20k
Firstly, I will start with your 14.5k gross; with this gross, you have 10k net with just 3 trips. If you asked me, I would say it's cool profit on just 3 trips.
Now, to the main point; indrive won't guarantee you the rush trips you enjoy on bolt, that's if the rush trips is your pleasure and not how much you make with fewer trips.
Make I tell you the scope of indrive:
1) don't expect rush trips - you will be fine.
2) always set daily target.
Na these 2 above I dey take run indrive.
On indrive, you could only do just 5 trips and you would beat your daily target, and bolt drivers fit mock you say you only did 5 trips where dem Don hit 10 trips, but that's not the point to brag about. What's of major importance is hitting your DAILY target.
Make I use my own case as an example;
On days like Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, my target is always 25k gross. Many times, I hit more than that even before 8pm and I go home straight (mind you, I set out anything from 10am), I can't do this early wake up you people dey do. Inside life. grin
You see Friday/Saturday/Sunday, my target is always 35k, and many times, I make more than that, especially on Sundays.
Now, you will see that I won't get frustrated that I didn't make more than my target, because I already understand how indrive operates and I know my way around it.
If you set a target of 30k gross on a day's work, you will hit it.
As you made 14.5k that time, if your target was 30k, you will meet up. The secret; you will work till late night (like 11pm).
I used to complain about indrive, but I took my time to study it on my own. It's no magic, once you know all the locations on both mainland and island, you will have the edge on getting good orders. I guess you don't get good orders because you dey slow to pick. Well, I no talk say na so e be, but my experience on indrive taught me that.
I know say you be legend here, which knowing locations won't be a thing at all, but you probably too dey slow to pick rides. Abi you dey propose higher price ni? grin
Btw, sometimes, I spend 1 hr at a spot without getting orders, the reason has always been that because I see good orders but destinations would be a place I wouldn't want to go at that time of waiting and filtering some mumu fare prices that pop up like say dem dey wait for you. grin
There's no way you would wait 30mins without getting close-by orders, na we the drivers dey choose where we want to go.
Mind you, I know how bolt works and so indrive, I choose indrive over bolt 10x.
Yesterday, I did just 6 trips to gross that amount below, and check the time of my last trip. As I dropped the rider (just 24mins drive, cos I took International Airport to link to Ajao estate), I closed work and went home straight. If I wanted to gross 40k yesterday, I would easily have done that and close by 11pm, maybe. More and more like that.
The simple truth is that, as pearl advised, keep running indrive cruise, you will see that you're improving on it and getting the scope.
By the way, we (the indrive pilots) need more passengers, cos drivers don dey abandon bolt like this. grin
Much respect, legend.

I can't believe I shunned Bolt 5600 bonus yesterday and still made enough money for myself.

Bolt will regret their strict policies very soon. The longer pick up without giving an option to decline is becoming the biggest challenge with working with Bolt.

The stress of trying to save your driver's score and also the stats required to get their bonus is really much. Sometimes, I'll burn fuel and drive for 7 minutes just to get closer to the rider and cancel with rider did not show.

The only upper hand Bolt still currently has is the fact that they have more riders than other apps for now.
Bolt still feeling fly because of the bold, that's just their strength (for now).
