peeps4u: Bro, it is a really good offer. A win win for both the seller and the buyer. You will get to sell those items at slightly higher prices than normal prices at cash n carry. Yeah, but you people ignore stubborn customers that will always give you headache before paying up. Where I worked, that's what they do most and I can tell you, like 5 customers who had been owing (a total of 1.4m) and unable to pay up since 2019 till today, the company is still having nightmares till today, chasing these debtors up till tomorrow. 1.4m hanging outside since then. Though I understand this installment package model but my leg never stand to dive in such, but na there I dey go sha, God no go shame us. |

Josephase: See how we have become comfortable driving for bolt without campaign or bonus. No bonus for more than a month. This is sad I guess a lot of pilots are planning on massive migration from bolt, so they don't even bother about the bonus and others. Just saying. |

Pearl1910: But really if u can do it,e go make sense. You will sell more. Even cash and carry get installmental payments option. Just that d price will be a little higher. Yeah, bro, I know of this package wella. But someone like me can't venture into such, cos it requires a huge capital/fund and standard office/store. I know how many people who are expecting me to bring this model, but mehn, if your feet no stand on ground gidigba, don't go near at all. But it's in my plan sha, that's why I'm working on some avenue to help my business get to that stage, but for now, make I sémpé dey do normal outright selling as they come (though once in a while). Thanks for this, brother. Na my goal be that, but the distance still dey somehow far ( a bit). I want ask you for some info self, please I fit DM you? |

Barbiturate: After how many months? Heard they will soon update drivers on the ending date of the old app.
Quote this comment.....this will actually bring problem to bolt!
If rider cancel, your score will reduce! How can you reconcile this? Got a request from sabo to VI. I rushed quickly to get there cos it was just 3 mins to PU and the rider cancelled before I got there. Then my score will reduce because of that. Is that not crazy!?
Meanwhile around 4:30pm, I was at Lekki phase 1 and a trip going to Aja came. It showed 25 mins to get to rider. She was at the other side, as if you're going to Aja. I called and explained to her. She refused to cancel. I obviously can't drive 25 mins there, just to wait for 5 mins and cancel.
Just watch how a lot of drivers will be booted out and it will in turn affect bolt.
Dem no reason this one well at all. My plan B dey on the way though, just in case. When the @bold arrives, no forget us, boss. We no wan lag behind.

Lush100: . Cc @Glithronix
Sir, We asked him this same question why profit was not the major primary objective. He then asked us if there aren't non-profit organizations It was then my orientation changed. On the issue of getting just two customers who will give u 100% profit. The question is how do u find them? Business does work the way its imagined in our head. Every biz give and take usually follow that 80/20 rule where 20% of ur customers give u 80% of ur profit. Still you never can tell which customer will jump into that 20% class. If u ignored a customer who was in that 80% and he is later courted by another biz, if he then jump into a mega customers, you can hardly get him back.
Well its not by force to accept what i have said, its just reality. I agree with you bro. Everyone of us has a point and the points are feasible. It's business. One love bro. |

obinoral1179: There is nothing we can do about the commission of bolt, they are the one running the app and doing advert to bring customer customer to our doorsteps if we are not ok with it we are just going to turn off the app and look elsewhere, the blame should come from government not bolt/Uber..... Hmmmm. It is well, my brother. But no matter the amount of excuses, or anything used to vindicate themselves (bolt), the commission is still too high and unfair. Uber too is doing adverts. It is well sha. |

seun289: what if 99% of them are chronic debtors what I was thought in school and learnt on a trade is that profit making is the primary objective of any business and not the other way round... ask glithorax if it's by just number of customers or the sure ones that patronizes and helps in the growth and expansion of his business @bolded, I am sure you wanted to mention my name (wrongly spelt). My boss always says something: that he would prefer dealing with just 10 people that he's sure going to generate satisfying profit with less stress than accumulating 100 customers that would be giving him headache. I learned from this that his major objective is the profit, not the number of customers. A business can make profit from 2 transactions that will outweigh the profit he would make from 10 people with which the stress is definitely going to be more than the 2 transactions. On the same edge, a true business man/woman needs crowd on his business, while profit is though the major objective (nothing else), but you have to keep the crowd coming and which you can only achieve this with the required customer RELATIONSHIP and friendly diplomacy - this is exactly what the other guyman (Lush100) was talking about by generating more customers. And everything strictly depends on the type of business one is running. Still, profit is the major objective. The business gurus may educate us more - I only expressed myself based on my knowledge. |

peeps4u: It depends on where on wants to build his house. One can still build a house with ehailing in some states outside Lagos, provided he is a driver owner in lagos. I still wonder how some people discourage Uber/bolt drivers that they can't build an asset or property with this hustle. Though I'm not a driver, but I have plenty friends who are these e-hailing drivers and I know what they own from this hustle. You're right @the bold. I have 3 guys who recently completed their own houses in ikorodu, they set the target for it on who will first complete their own house. The thing I've understood would make some Uber/bolt drivers work 100 years with nothing to show for it is unseriousness. I'm not typing this to hail Uber/bolt in anyway, especially bolt with that unfair commission, I'm putting it out here to encourage people that they can make something out of this hustle if they are serious and focus. I have many frieds who are doing this driving that are doing so well, you need to see these guys. Pure Uber/bolt drivers. Many of them have upgraded and have cars on rentals. Even if one is working at a oil company, if he's unserious and lacks focus, he would have nothing to show for it. I know of a councillor who now walks around the street with nothing. |
